Does anyone else feel like that Aaron has blossomed this year? I feel like he’s really happy and it shows. I can’t get enough of this channel. You are such an inspiration to me Laura 💜💜💜
Yes. So inspiring! I posted on Craigslist...free agave attenuates you cut and remove as they were overgrown. Have met the nicest most appreciative people who are happy to enhance their properties. A win win situation. Inspired by Laura and Aaron.
Yes I have noticed. Maybe he's always been but they did say they thrive on projects and they have a lot going on. Love them for there constant enthusiasm I'm a big fan and feel like there my famiu
I think that Aaron is the same but the difference is that we are finally seeing him on camera and with a mic on so we're hearing his input. Either way, Aaron adds so much more dimension to their story and I love hearing his thoughts and opinions.
I Totally agree with both of you about experience ! It counts for everythingthing... it makes you more compassionate , empathetic towards your clients ,their pla t problems a d your personal expertise can go a long way . You have more than one a venue of answers; not just the " textbook" . You both are Terrific. Thank you for enlightening our lives , especially my low income budget . I look for all your videos "old & new " . Be blessed to all your family and pets !
Good morning, Laura ☕️ This recap made me lol 😂 “but, have you tried the Bordeaux? 🤔 “ then, I about spit my coffee out when Aaron said “don’t look up!’ Have a Blessed day 😊🐈
Putting in 2 new garden beds the other day along my front walk and the funniest thing happened. I told my husband that maybe we should make it smaller so we won't need as many plants to fill it and he replied, "I don't know, what would Laura do?" I busted out laughing...I have him hooked on Garden Answer!!
FYI! We got a golf cart this year for the grandkids to ride around in our yard, we have a total of 6 acres, you will make a path in your grass, trust me, you will. Now in some parts it will not be so noticeable, but in others it will be there. I have now turned it into a trail and have decided to make it part of the design. part of our home is in the woods and part is lawn with lots of sun and just a few trees in the grassy area. But you will end up making a path in your grass. but it looks neat. have fun with it.
Laura and Aaron, I turned on my computer at ll:30 PM instead of going to bed (like a normal person), and I was rewarded with a GAH video, YAY! The drone footage of your property showing the driveway changes is fantastic! I always love seeing the drone footage!
Good morning from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 My day has started well Absolutely my favourite channel on RUclips! No comparison for me My day is not right without watching you guys 😊 love you guys thanks for sharing all you do !
You go girl! Being pooped on while doing a video and didn’t miss a step. You didn’t get up, you didn’t stop filming - just rolled with it. Very impressive. You have inspired me to begin a garden I have put off for years. Going to begin it this season.
I’m surprised how much I love these videos. I’m always happy to see them each week. They add so much to you channel. Your story is so much richer for this almost behind the scenes Q&A. You guys are doing it right. Bravo 👏
The overhead shot of your house at 5:22 with new property graphics really helps me understand your vision. I get it now, and it's going to be beautiful.
There is a new variety of blueberry bushes that stay small and grow in a naturally rounded shape 3x3 When not in bloom or baring fruit their leaves are small and look like boxwood I can’t wait to get some - I love that they can be double duty - fruit & ornamental And need minimal to no pruning
The L&A Farm Forest....love and excited to see growth of trees. *suggestion, when docutmenting farm transformation with drone...start at same place then go where you want. Point of reference is needed for some of us (smile) but enjoy rewinding and trying to figure out where I am on your land. So enjoy watching you guys! Enjoyed seeing Benjamin 6/20 letting him make muffins with you.
wow !!!!! the before and after footage of the new property is amazing..... sooooo much change , in really not that much time...imagine what it's going to look like next summer.....you are both doing such an excellent job
It happens at: 41:15 So sorry that happened Laura. You handled it well though with a great attitude as always! I'm sure having chickens has helped to desensitize you to this sort of thing, but still gross 🤢🤢🤢
Ooohhh!!! A Garden Answer calendar would be fantastic! Especially with lists of what you seed indoors and outdoors. I know there’s a lot of people on here in different zones so that suggestion won’t apply to all. But would be really helpful for those of us who have a climate similar to yours.
When the time comes in a year or so you could till in the mulch and add some top soil on top before you seed grass. We have even mixed our seed into the top soil mixed with mushroom mulch and it came up great.
I love to see Aaron participating and having interest in plant selections at the Garden Center. I love watching both of your channels and they are a great delight. Thank you for sharing your videos. I have learned so much over the years.
I love the idea of annual planting for the west side.....you can change the colors with the mood/theme...like going all Pink to celebrate your little girl etc....🌸🌸🌸
Hahahaha...this was great. Love that you embraced the silliness of a bird pooping on you. You are such an inspiration to me. I love watching how your yard and property are ever evolving! I have challenges in growing living at 7200 feet in Wyoming but have learned so much from you! Love love love your channel!
I worked in a greenhouse for 7 years, and it was the best job I ever had I. I also learn by doing and I learned a ton of things about plants and it has stayed with me. I still read up on things and of course watch Garden Answer if I am not sure of something. The best place to work ( in my opinion) is a greenhouse / garden center. You will never regret working there!!
LOL! In our neck of the woods, when a bird poops on you, it is to bring you good luck! LOL! Not sure how that works !!! Love the video and found a lot of helpful information. Thank you and God Bless!
I'm a new GA groupie...after everyone is in bed and the day in the garden is done, I curl up with a cup of tea and enjoy even MORE gardening and get inspiration for new things to do tomorrow! I'm loving all the videos you have made to show how you use drip irrigation. I was wondering if you could give some advice about what brand you prefer and how you build your kit of parts and attachments. I’ve bought three beginner kits and the parts included differ from kit to kit.
Laura and Arron, my wife and I work together in all of the flower gardening for our home and it is great to see both of you enjoy this so much. We visit local garden centers and I see all of these husbands begrudgingly standing there holding a pot of flowers as far away from their body as possible so as to disassociate themselves from the whole experience. Gardening is another growing and changing piece of our marriage and so I would encourage all husbands to become more involved in the gardening process if they aren't already. Love my daily dose of Garden Answers!
This is when it’s convenient to live in Southern California! It’s only 9:28 pm over here 😆. Enjoying the recap video 👍🏻. Laura, maybe you should go back to the sun room, it’s safer there☺️ 🐦
☕️Happy Friday to Laura and Aaron and cuties Benjamin and Samantha, and everyone watching! It’s a great spring day, the country is opening up, and happiness reigns supreme. Thanks for the laughter and adding to the smiles today, Laura and Aaron. 🌸🌼🌺💜💚💛😊
Laura, I recently found your channel and I enjoy watching so much!! It has inspired me to start gardening! I have really been enjoying it!! So, thank you!
I think these recap videos are just the best - as another commenter shared - Aaron has much to do with making these so enjoyable to watch. I love the banter between Laura & Aaron and how much more involved he has become with the planning of the property. If only he would move in front of the camera...
I just saw this video looking for something else...the bird poop thing brought back a crazy memory for me. I had a car with t-tops... I was driving on a highway crossing over on a bridge going 70 miles an hour and a bird pooped through the t-tops and right down my shirt! What are the odds of that! My kids really got a kick out of that one....of course that was a long time ago but it has never been forgotten.
Laura, honestly I died laughing without hesitation when the bird pooped, but at the same time was completely mortified for you. My dad use to raise tropical birds, so I completely get the whole “ it comes with the territory” thing. On a brighter note: I was always told that it was good luck if a bird pooped on you. 😲🍀🤣
Shopping yesterday for plants and saw the plant Aaron liked !! I think it was just charming that he seemed to have caught the bug for the beauty of flowers! I agree verbena unsung hero!
My Dianthus in a pot has bloomed continually since February and it is still going full sun hardly ever have to deadhead it. I used to not like them either but dang. It is one of my favorite pots. I bought seed to hopefully grow my own next year
The Hansher Family asked about getting plants in a pot neatly. What I do is plant the pot with the empty pots of the plants I’m putting in. Then take the pots out and drop in the actual plant. Firm up around and taadaa! A beautiful planter is born!
That's the same thing I do especially when I don't have all the plants I want for that pot I plant empty pots where the new ones will go when I get them and then it's easy change out. Bright ideas come to everyone ‼️
Concerning roses: I am in Denmark and fertilize roses about every 4-6 weeks with small doses from end of March to end of June. I have a very small garden but lots of roses. Seems to work well 😉
Oh I love the drone footage. You guys are going to have such beautiful homestead!! Happy for you. Even though I knew the bird poop was coming it still cracked me up.
Love the one tree having wire left on it. 😂 Totally something I would do. Actually, having seen the number of roses and plants Laura had lost to gophers we’ve put wire mesh underneath all of our fruit trees and my new David Austin roses so if anything I’d think that tree will be the survivor! 🤣🚫🦫
Star Song - 100% agree with Laura’s comments - apply and just do. I learned A LOT of what I know by working PT at a local greenhouse - & now I’m a certified Mater Gardener! I’d suggest every time someone asks you a question you can’t answer and need help with - to not only direct them to a person who knows - but stick around to hear what that person has to say. You gain all your knowledge and how to’s by listening what questions are being asked by your local customers coming in to shop. Because most likely if they have questions or problems needing solving, someone else has those same questions that when the time comes that next person comes to ask the questions, now you know the answer because you stuck around and listened. Also, the plant tags do help you ID plants, their soil, watering and light needs. It’s a great job to have during spring/summer/fall growing seasons!! Have fun!!
I never cared much for petunias until PW supertunia for the first time this year. They are so colorful. The Paradise is gorgeous. And I brought home Priscilla, another gorgeous color. Can’t wait to see what you do with the 2022 version. And I’d love to see more recipes.
Hello from Knoxville, Tennessee! I've enjoyed your videos and have gleamed many good ideas. Thank you! I wondered if you've ever watched Charles Dowdings "No dig" videos? I'm using his composting method in my veggie garden and it's highly effective. I'm working backwards on your videos so maybe you've already covered composting. Thank you again for your wonderful inspiration!
As a Garden Store Supervisor for a small family nursery/landscape company it's great that you tell people to check with their local garden centers for things. I would love to purchase the AquaPots but they are totally not affordable for our small company to purchase. We do not have room to store a pallet or more of the same style & size of pot. If they were in smaller quantities and mixes and not cost us $1000 or more I would so do it. I agree with you about young people (or anyone actually) who is interested in working in a garden center but has no plant knowledge or experience. I recently had someone ask me the same question and I told her that no experience was necessary just be willing to learn and understand there is a lot of physical work that can seem very repetitive at times. We have found one of the best ways for new employees to learn is by tagging the plants as they come in, this way they read the tags and ask questions. Some of my best teachers and coworkers have been those who have no previous experience. The "master gardeners" I have had experience with have scared me off from having them join our team because many of them know it all, are not willing to learn more, or are so set in what they believe that it's hard to learn a different way. That being said, this is not all "master gardeners" but a majority of those I have personally met. I have 2 AAS degrees (Landscape & Nursery Management) and a Master Certification from our state Nursery & Landscape Association but I still learn something new everyday and do not have all the answers.
Oh my goodness I got pooped on the head this week in the garden, I couldn’t get to the shower quick enough 🤣🤣🤣. I believe we will be blessed with good luck 😉 🤣
I can't believe I just spend one hour watching two people discuss about gardening and even then feel the video ended way too fast! 🤣 I literally sit with one mug of coffee and get so lost in the video!
I picked up a Pricilla in the garden shop and told my husband that I didn’t know PW had a Priscilla petunia, to hear you mention it is a next year intro was interesting . It is beautiful with the ruffling on it. I feel I found at treasure...lol
The west side might be perfect for a rose garden. Can you imagine! Each outlined area can be a different coloured rose! No more boxwood hedges, please!!!! Lol
Hi Laura! I love the calandra idea!!! I will definitely purchase that when it’s ready. One of the You-tubers you follow (I can’t remember which one right now) uses a gardening journal and she even featured it on one of her episodes. Do you use one? If so, that would be fun to see as well as which one you recommend and why. :). Thanks so much for all your wonderful planting advise! I have been following you for years and have learned so much!!! Happy gardening!
I found the episode! It was Linda Vader and the journal she recommended is by Robert R. Lunar and it’s called Gardener’s Journal - A Ten Year Chronicle of Your Garden. It’s currently on sale for $499.00 on Amazon!!! It might be a good idea for you to look into making a journal after all!! :). Here’s the link to Linda’s episode if you’re interested in watching it..... ruclips.net/video/hX7bb6ViqPk/видео.html
I would like to let y’all know I LOVE YOUR WHOLE GARDEN AND THE WILDFLOWER GARDEN ! Your so inspiring and you teach me your beautiful heart that you shared your tips on how you spray your plants, weeds, and your tips on fertilizers it’s amazing and thank you! Your beautiful children are so adorable and sweet and beautiful ! If you plant 🌱 caster bean seeds, I heard online that you can plant them in your garden that it will help with moles and the seeds are poisonous when you seed them but wear gloves 🧤 and lime is so good for moles also it keeps your moles away with these caster beans/ lime! Thank you for sharing all your beautiful inspiring garden ideas ! Love and Prayers! 😇😇😇
Every time I went to a beach in North East coast, seagulls would poop on me as well, on head in hair or down cleavage is worse! They say lucky sign but did not work. Then was telling date at a park what happens and not sit under trees on bench or I will get "christened". As he laughed that I was overreacting, a pigeon pooped on my shoulder too. HOPE this is a sign of NEW BLESSINGS and NEW BEGINNINGS for your family! Agree we LOVE hearing more from Aaron who has opened up!. His laugh is contagious! I always promote your videos at flower centers and dept stores while customers shop for flowers etc....Thanx!
This video brought back a childhood memory! My cousin was graduating, we were in the bleachers and a flock of birds flew over and one pooped right on my uncles bald head! Out of all the people in that huge stadium. I had forgotten all about that! I just love your videos. All of the things you have taught me are priceless to me! Thanks Laura and Aaron!
Do you ever feel awe at the leaps and bounds your life has taken. From planting in a small garden to a major property with massive garden projects on a scale requiring cranes and major trucks. I would have to pinch myself to be sure this was really my life.😂🤏🏼
Thanks for the highlights as it answers a lot of my questions that I can't find in any book. I love your new garden area as it is fun to watch you plant all you plants.
The best tip for working out how long to run your irrigation or sprinkler is to place containers around. Butter tubs will do. Time the start and measure the water collected in the tubs. Then finger depth test the soil around the planted area. Then set timer and watch the plants vitality. Adjust accordingly.
If you use compost, you will attract plenty of worms. That way, you won't have to fertilize as often. My pots are full of worms and my plants are healthy.
For the glazed sale watering pots what about the self watering things Gardeners supply has that you can make your pots self watering. I would love to see that in action.
Does anyone else feel like that Aaron has blossomed this year? I feel like he’s really happy and it shows. I can’t get enough of this channel. You are such an inspiration to me Laura 💜💜💜
I absolutely love the interaction between Laura and Aaron! So happy Aaron is getting more comfortable in videos. What a great couple!
We all need an Aaron🌸
These highlight chats with Laura and Aaron are so enjoyable 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I Totally agree with both of you about experience !
It counts for everythingthing... it makes you more compassionate , empathetic towards your clients ,their pla t problems a d your personal expertise can go a long way . You have more than one a venue of answers; not just the " textbook" .
You both are Terrific.
Thank you for enlightening our lives , especially my low income budget .
Behind all the weeds I pull I have the reduced prices hydrangea and I'm hoping to find some beautiful Denim & Lace Russian Sage. Soon , even if it's too late if it's a perennial I want it !
I look for all your videos "old & new " .
Be blessed to all your family and pets !
The fact that you didn't jump up, stop filming, and run & change your clothes when you got pooped on...that's why I totally love you!
YES. Exactly this.
what is the time stamp for it? i missed it?

Good morning, Laura ☕️
This recap made me lol 😂 “but, have you tried the Bordeaux? 🤔 “ then, I about spit my coffee out when Aaron said “don’t look up!’ Have a Blessed day 😊🐈
I am so excited to hear of a GA calendar! You’d better make a HUGE first printing or maybe a pre order. GA groupies... yep. 😆
At any garden center, we always say WWLS. What would Laura say? Should be a T-shirt.
Or....What would Laura Do?? (WWLD) 🥰
I cant fathom having a spouse/partner who was slightly interested in gardening and had opinions and ideas!! that must be Heaven!!!
Laura your facial expression when that bird pooped on you was priceless. Life happens.
Thanks for including the drone footage. It really helps to see the whole property and where trees and plants are being placed.
Laura and Aaron, I turned on my computer at ll:30 PM instead of going to bed (like a normal person), and I was rewarded with a GAH video, YAY! The drone footage of your property showing the driveway changes is fantastic! I always love seeing the drone footage!
This is a different bright outdoor setting for a recap video. I love it!
Just finished my work week, did some garden clean up, cracked a beer on the patio and enjoying my weekly recap. Awww...blessed!
Good morning from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪

Be gentle with yourself. You will learn a lot. Enjoy all successes. Small and large. Your going to love it.
Rototilling in the bark into your soil will help with moisture in your soil with fertilizer will help grass grow.
I’m surprised how much I love these videos. I’m always happy to see them each week. They add so much to you channel. Your story is so much richer for this almost behind the scenes Q&A. You guys are doing it right. Bravo 👏

I've always enjoyed your recap videos but more so with Arron and you chatting too. Love your chanel , garden advice and rapport x

So sorry that happened Laura. You handled it well though with a great attitude as always! I'm sure having chickens has helped to desensitize you to this sort of thing, but still gross 🤢🤢🤢

Love y’all’s banter with each other. You seem perfectly matched!
Yesssss! Laura at night too! Two videos in one day, I’m feeling a bit spoiled:)
Till in the bark! It will be adding organic matter to the clay soil, which will improve drainage for grass growing above it!
Instead of a moon garden you can have a mood garden....
I love that idea! Strawberries for Benjamin and pretty pink for Samantha! Until she loves strawberries too.

I agree, 100% I worked at at our local greenhouse for a few seasons and learned sooooo much.

LOL! In our neck of the woods, when a bird poops on you, it is to bring you good luck! LOL! Not sure how that works !!! Love the video and found a lot of helpful information. Thank you and God Bless!

Laura, I recently found your channel and I enjoy watching so much!! It has inspired me to start gardening! I have really been enjoying it!! So, thank you!
Your message about learning from failure really spoke to my soul today, and not only about gardening!
I think these recap videos are just the best - as another commenter shared - Aaron has much to do with making these so enjoyable to watch. I love the response about not loving Supertunias (petunias): "But can I interest you in a Bordeaux..." LOL!!!
I love seeing the recap video filmed outside, love that black fence in the background
I love how Aaron and Laura are just hanging out and discussing the business. After all it’s not all about Laura’s flowers.lol.
I’ve never clicked so fast before! Love your recap videos because they are so long! 💜 😌

I grow comfrey. I fertilize the comfrey and then use the leaves as compost. That way, I am not putting fertilizer directly on the plant.
Yes, love these recaps. They help me alot! And yes, would love more merchandise from Garden Answer. Can't wait!!
I love how Russell shows up even ifs it’s just once ..
Being pooped on by a bird is considered lucky in some cultures. One year I was pooped on 3 times and I have to admit, it was a very lucky year!!
😄👍
I've been pooped on by a Seagull...big poop on my shoulder!!
I was pooped on by a seagull today.
Yes we where always told that .I live in New Zealand and my father used to always say that lol
Lots of luck heading your way!
How about an 'apricot and friends' colour theme for the -'Moon walk'? Since you've got the Colette roses, and the brick path. It could be so pretty.
I have been watching since February and I have learned so much from you. It has been therapy for me. May God bless you and your family.
I can't believe I just spend one hour watching two people discuss about gardening and even then feel the video ended way too fast! 🤣
I literally sit with one mug of coffee and get so lost in the video!
Yeah calendar yes can't wait so make sure a few drone shots it great to see different sight of your hard work & Aaron so great at it 👍😀🌱👏❤
Wow a call from Greensboro, NC?!?! I loved hearing Aaron say that as that's where I live. Lol. That's a very long distance spam call if it was. 😄
Love the drone footage of the property! what an amazing transformation.
I picked up a Pricilla in the garden shop and told my husband that I didn’t know PW had a Priscilla petunia, to hear you mention it is a next year intro was interesting . It is beautiful with the ruffling on it. I feel I found at treasure...lol
Did I miss the video on drip tubing for beginners? I really hope I can learn more about it.
Nothing but good things will happen for you and yours! I was pooped on a few months ago and was lucky to find a beautiful obelisk and planter set!🎉😂😂
I’ve also heard that it was good luck to be pooped on by a bird. Loved the way you just kept right on rolling with the video😊
Oh, a GA calendar sounds great! I’ll be watching for the announcement.
Wonderful review! You are a real trooper dealing with the poop. Great having Aaron there too. Can’t wait to see the calendar you guys create.
Ha ha ha...Aaron, you know that call was probably someone reminding you your auto warranty is about to expire!🤣🤣🤣
My husband just got back from the gym and I had to show him the poop part. I laughed just as hard all over again. You too are so funny!
He has truly enjoyed planting with you we have enjoyed watching him he is such a little helper😍
Can't wait for the GA calendar to be on my fridge!!!!
Oh my goodness, you got me hooked on Supertunia! Lol. I won’t even bother buying any other petunias! I absolutely love them.
Ohhh yeah 1am and I got a garden answer recap that is a nice lengthy one!!! Thank u!
I love that you didn't change your shirt 😆 the life of a gardener!
Loving the outside scene in this recap video
Love hearing you two chatting your so relaxed with each other.lovely family . Tskecare guys
Yes!!! Do boxwoods around cut garden and arb’s around outside! Love that and would tie your gardens together. 💜💜💜
If you use compost, you will attract plenty of worms. That way, you won't have to fertilize as often. My pots are full of worms and my plants are healthy.
That bird was mad at you for taking his Gazebo perch away.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🐦 It's happened to me too.
For the glazed sale watering pots what about the self watering things Gardeners supply has that you can make your pots self watering. I would love to see that in action.
