@@TrenaLittle For me it has been growing subscriber numbers. Watch time has increased steadily (though not superfast) but subscribers have been slow. It has picked up over time but then plateaued at about 100 per month.
Love your tutorials, Trena! Thank you! But why not do this on your desktop by using the scheduler in the Facebook dashboard? That’s how I’ve always posed my RUclips videos to IG. It’s pretty easy and you can schedule ahead of time.
This is the clearest and best explanation I've seen to get your RUclips content onto Instagram! Working across platforms has to be the way to go if you want your channel to grow, especially for a quirky and multi content channel like ours. Thanks so much Trena!! Cheers Rex and Alan :)

Thank you! You're one of a few I follow because your tips are practical and actionable. Question - saw a conversation in the comments on another channel about mistakes RUclipsrs make and these people were saying that getting views from external sources will work against the YT algorithm and keep it from suggesting that video. I thought it was just about views, not view sources. Do you have a thought or two on that?
A view is a view right!? And if you can get someone TO RUclips from another platform, and your video gets that person to binge watch some RUclips content... RUclips will actually love that video!
@@TrenaLittle and the question is if they will binge watch. (in some cases) It doesn't seem like they watch much, just a bit to make you "happy" and then switch away (avd goes down drastically).

Also, I uploaded my Inktober video using your advice and suggestions, and although not perfect, oh my goodness what a transformation on my channel with just this one video. I am so excited to try batch recording next! You have helped me see that I can do this! You are AWESOME!

The portion of your video on uploading the "Full Length" of a video on IGTV, " can only" be 15 minutes long, which you fail to mention, so no "Long Video" option is given, when the video you're trying to upload is longer then 15 minutes! Not emphasizing this resulted in wasted time, and unnecessary frustration! ☹ However..your videos have been helpful in other ways..so Thank you! 🙂
What is your strategy for IG and FB if you’re wanting to drive people to RUclips? Do you post only a snippet to IGTV and FB and direct people to RUclips or just wait a few days after your RUclips video has been live and upload the whole thing? I know the other platforms don’t generally like you driving people away. My primary platform is my blog and now I’m trying to grow on YT and not sure what best practice is for sharing these (other than embedding in a post and emailing my list).
My video editor actually did that. I've been thinking about working with her to come up with some editing templates to sell! What other editing templates would you like to see available?
@@TrenaLittle yes that would be cool. Maybe a template that pops up my social media icons and all I do is just fill in my name. Just stuff like that. I want to experiment with letting people just read certain things on the screen so I can keep the video flowing.
