- Coldplay in Higher Power. How could anyone not like this song. It is typical Coldplay in its sound, it is happy and fun. The message brought me to humanity and the need to lead your life as an example to others who may look up to you. Great song, positive message as usual in a Coldplay song.

I LOVE to see an older gentleman such as yourself, or older person in general (older just means wiser :P) have a positive reaction towards Coldplay's poppier & uplifting songs, a lot of older Coldplay listeners are stuck in the old days and limit themselves to the "old Coldplay sound". loved your reaction! the "happy im alive at the same time as you" is SUCH a strong line for me and the way you analised it and went on with we're always looking up at someone reminded me of my cousin. and this became my favorite song ever since i went to their concert, everytime i listen to it brings me back to that moment. i love every bit of it!
Excellent comentary about our responsabiities that each of us has over someone near us, specially our children. I like Coldplay because they write songs about positive things that happens to all of us and for hope. They really make us think of how lucky we are in this world.
I LOVE coldplay , always using their music to inspire . I’ve heard this song talked about a few times , it’s about how everyone has a higher power inside themselves , or in someone else or in something spiritual( god Etc ) it means all of it ❤️ all equally special , and once in a lifetime !

I love Coldplay too! Unrelated to Coldplay I just really wanna recommend checking out Melanie Martinez! For example: Orange juice, Strawberry shortcake, Mrs.Potatohead, Mad Hatter, Soap, Pacify Her, Training Wheels. many good songs to choose from! She is really out of this world and I think you will enjoy and appreciate her. Very unique and interesting, with good lyrics and a beautiful voice.
