Good video king, plane is definitely an experts weapon, j35a is countered pretty hard by the A5C. But that plane counters everything that doesn’t carry flares
Fun to see this, I fly the Dragen J35:s simulator at F4, Frösön Sweden during tests to be a pilot, all went good but my eyes was not good enough. Try the cobra maneuver if you know wath that is. Nice video, thanks. :)
so basically: you will play against flaredumps like a10 or su25k. you will play against all aspects like a10, a6e and su25k. you will play against faster planes, you will bleed a lot of speed while turning. your first shots need to hit, but thats hjard with 100 ammo and no tracers. So dont pick that plane up unless u know what u are doing
Cool afterburner facts: the faster you go the faster your plane will want to go. Take off, fly straight up to 800 kph, pitch up 25* climb 8km like a boss
Learning to fly this thing after spending time in the Saab 105 oe that I do really well in and all I do is die in this thing. The aim9bs just don't work at 9.7 and the guns for some reason for me I find much harder to aim than on the Saab. Just need to get used to it but yeah hoping to improve in it
It flies very different to the 105, cant play it the same way. Need to stress, do NOT fly under 900/1000kph unless engaged in an isolated fight. The plane is super bad when slow.

Just saw your video in my recommended and realized that I’m in your squadron! My user is SkyHound007 on the server, OvergWT in game. There are many, many war thunder RUclipsrs that are infuriatingly stupid in their gameplay and constantly make dumb decisions, but as I watched this video all the way through all I could think of was that everything you were saying was completely rational, realistic, and understandable, and on top of that your aim isn’t too shabby even after they removed tracers from the Swedish 30mms 😂😂 edit: I subscribed

Thanks man, yeah the guns are really hard to learn since theres no tracer rounds. You have to lead more than you think! Try practicing using the SK60 gunpods they should be similar
It is still extremely strong if you know how to manage your energy (Key part rank 6 in Sweden) Problem is you have a weak engine so you have to balance turning and keeping ur energy up which is hard, def not a beginner aircraft as it takes some knowledge and skill. Overall best aircraft at it's BR (seeing you outrun Mig-19's, F-100's and Demons are not gonna touch you and harriers only have missiles and acceleration on you) the only thing that really beats u in a dogfight is a Mig-19 because of it's retention. Really strong aircraft.
Unfortunately it is a huge pain in the ass to aim because of that. You have to lead quite a bit. I just try to overlead and keep firing until I am underleading and hope for the best. That and just experience ofc
Aspects of that are true but its not that simple. The F86k or the Milan for example are just massive pain trains, doesnt matter how skilled you are. Of course skilled players will still do better but they'll still struggle. On the other side of the spectrum nearly anyone with 5 brain cells can slaughter in the SU 11.
Very strong aircraft, teaches you a lot about how to fly later Swedish aircraft and is a big stepping stone to the Viggens. Also exceptional grinders for both SL and RP. Has got the be the best 9.7 I own
Seems like this video got picked up by RUclips recommended a bit. Maybe now, if you decide to commit to more consistent uploads and focus on war thunder, you could really start to gain traction.
Call it over-powered now - facing A-10s and Su-25s with all aspect missiles.. lol.. So a mid 1950s plane facing planes from 1981 (Su25) with even more modern missiles.. Without flares.. while having AIm-9B (RB 249 - yeah... Overpowered huh?

You have to map some keys to movement/ I have A and D for ailerons, S and Z for elevator, Q and E for rudder
it Good but when it only see F5C all the time it don't really matter if it good at 9.7
What about the J35XS
It took me 3 years to get used to how to play the j35a hint it is extremely hard to dog fight over 700KPH
But good job but that things climb rate is 180 that you should use that to your advantage.

ive just bought this plane and as of now its tracer rounds have been removed, have you any tips on leading a target without the tracers?

Its actually faster than mig21. But mig 21 has much better acceleration. You can also cruise around 1000 kmh without afterburning.
