- Hi, guys!
Let's start painting and weathering this excellent Tamiya (ICM) 1/35th scale AMD (Automitralieuse a decouverte) Panhard. The kit contents the base ICM plastic sprues, Tamiya add-ons, instructions and decals.
Very good kit of the Panhard armored car model 1935 in my opinion. Let's finish the build!

Vehiculul asta in engleza s-ar numit Hater(+/1)? Panhard nu mai exista, sau Icm nu are treaba cu marcile ca alte firme?

ICM are probleme cu copy-rightul. Panhard a disparut si re-aparut dupa WW2. Produce in continuare vehicule militare. Probabil ca managementul lor e mai deschis la minte decat altii (pe cutie nu scrie niciunde "sub licenta oficiala", ca la Revell sau Tamiya.)
La "Meprisante" te refereai... mi-a luat putin timp sa-mi dau seama! Merge si cu "Hater", banuiesc (la feminin). Eu l-as traduce "Mischievous". E derutant, pentru ca sensul de baza in franceza e destul de generos - de la arogant la rauvoitor, in functie de context.
Desi am facut cativa ani de franceza, nu ma laud. Eu doar ma referea la filmul lui Godard, Le Mepri, pe care englezii in traduc Contempt .... si aia duce spre Hate, dar da logica e cam intortocheata.
Just watched it. Nice job there man! I like the dusting effects. What tool were you using to apply the super glue?
Thanks, Scott! The "dusting" technique has became one of my favorites, since I don't really like the models drenched in mud, but I am fully aware of the need for weathering in contemporary modeling. The "tool" is a .3mm mechanical pencil. It can be made as long as you need it, and you don't need to bother cleaning the build-up on the tip - just break the lead and you have fresh applicator every time! Besides, its .3mm tip makes it suitable for precision application ;)
So you use the lead as the applicator?

Right on. I'll give it a go. I've been using photo etch applicators and needle tips but all new tool tips are welcome. Thanks Scott.
