I’ll give it to shotzzy on his performance in the 3rd world championship. He was playing incredible that tourney.. but Frosty was the best halo 5 player in my opinion and he solidifies it with this tourney. Royal2 also was playing amazing this series

Halo 5 dropped the bomb in the competitive scene from the very begging: AR starts, Automatic weapons in the map, Splinter grenades, Spartan Charge, Ground Pound, forcing their Breakout abomination competitively... Most of these issues weren't addressed until late 2017, but by then, the game was agonizing, at best. Halo 5 is a great game and might be amazing competitively TODAY. Unfortunately, no one plays it anymore. The reason being 343 releasing the game with nothing more than a few slayer playlists. No Forge, No Big Team, No fiesta, No Firefight, No split screen, No grifball, no social playlists, repetitiveness, NO FUN... The casual players left quickly, they were not going to stick around for 343's "free updates" (I'm sure many 343 fanboys wet their panties with these) which slowly started to pump up playlists and content this game desperately needed from day 1. If 343 had balls, which clearly they don't, they would have told Microsoft to shut it, and postponed the release date until the game was complete. But we all known that 343 are just a bunch of shady crooks that are only interested in $$$ and would gladly release a game barely functioning, in order to milk the most out of the holiday season... like they did with The Master Chief Collection.
@@YaNoAwantoMas you have very valid points. halo 4 was so bad i sold my xbox one right away and then only returned to halo two months ago when i purchased xbox one x and halo 5- so i have no idea what the game was like when it was first released. I will say the way it plays today, halo 5 is a superb competitive fps- i grew up playing doom 2 online, cs, tribes, unreal tournament, quake 2/3/cpma, halo 3 etc so i'm somewhat familiar w/ fps in a general sense- i think the game as it stands today is one of the best playing competitive fps of all time- it's a shame it doesn't have a large following now due to the things you mentioned above- maybe infinite will make up for 343's past mistakes...
Halo 5 is sick get over the past it's almost 2019 all the pros approve of halo 5 if used correctly the spartan abilities supply a huge skill gap between good players and shit players for example shotzy is a beast with movement combined with gun skill . The only people who hate halo 5 are the shit players that are 30 years old lmao
