I’m definitely gonna be sticking with my phone for the app because the only time I really use it is when I’m out and about, and I don’t plan to take the mini everywhere with me. My iPad Pro is about the size of your old galaxy, the issue being any games where you had to steer by moving the device (racing games, for example).
after getting stuck in the mountains I know apple GPS sucks! I'd just get wifi, but look at the ipad air it was an impressive machine. Just don't drop these new ipads...they're designed not to be repaired so if the screen cracks you replace the whole thing. I switched to android phone I get 29 satellites and it knows exactly where I am. I still have an ipad mini 3 still rocking but it's getting slow. Heck my phone has 12GB RAM in it.
@@rml695 the case can help but I'm sure they build these devices fragile so they're more prone to cracking and replacing. Do a comparison video the newest ipad mini the screen display alone will show a big change on video.

I already have a case in mind for the mini and I’m glad I got the Wi-Fi only model from what your saying.
