The "completed" Game of Death made no sense. The filmmakers of that 1978 un-Asian version expects us to believe that the fourth and final pagoda-opponent… That Bond-villain wannabe who fights like an old geezer, would stand a chance against Bruce Lee?!
To be fair, these sound effects were added on years later. some taken from other films. Had this film been properly finished it would have looked and sounded very different to what you see here. You have to view this with an understanding of what we are seeing here.
Regardless of the sound all martial arts films from the 70's had big loud crunches and wind ripping movements, considering this film was never finished I can appreciate the new music and sound since the final cut felt so trimmed.
@Juno Donat well, you cansay that of every generation who grow up with video games in their young days, in fact you can say the same thing of the generation that grownup with Bruce Lee.
Something interesting in this movie compare to his previous movies is that Bruce Lee talks and dialogue much more, so we can see him acting in unusual way, i have watched this scenes many many times, but this is the first time i realize that the movie was recorded originally English unlike his previous movies that were in Chinese voice.

what made bruce lee's movies more realistic and appealing was that every fight scene was relatively short compared to other martial movies where fight scenes lasted like forever, not to mention the tons of camera tricks and stuntmen.

the best martial Artist of all times...

magnifique!
I love the concerned almost surprised look in Bruce Lee's eyes when he first looks up at Kareem!

Bruce lee o melhor❤maximo respeito
This really is all we needed to see of the Game of Death--without the horrible scenes shot with a Bruce Lee-impersonator.
The "completed" Game of Death made no sense.
The filmmakers of that 1978 un-Asian version expects us to believe that the fourth and final pagoda-opponent… That Bond-villain wannabe who fights like an old geezer, would stand a chance against Bruce Lee?!
A mix between Speed and ballet...and a single name... Bruce 🔥
Great job 😍👍👍👍
The sound effects are utterly ridiculous, love it.
The best sound effects in a Bruce Lee film is in Enter the Dragon.
Thats just how it sounds getting hit by Bruce.

Wow! Bruce had an amazing imagination. And this was long before any video game was possible.
what does video game has to do with this?
@Juno Donat well, you cansay that of every generation who grow up with video games in their young days, in fact you can say the same thing of the generation that grownup with Bruce Lee.
This where the game kung-fu came from

Jackie Chan said How Bruce lee act in movies he also act like that in real life lol..... what a legend he is!!
Thank you
Something interesting in this movie compare to his previous movies is that Bruce Lee talks and dialogue much more, so we can see him acting in unusual way, i have watched this scenes many many times, but this is the first time i realize that the movie was recorded originally English unlike his previous movies that were in Chinese voice.
Bruce Lee still the Legendary even today I’m still enjoy to watching his movies in Blu-ray Disc feeling a life Bruce
I wish he could've gotten Lee Marvin to be in Game of Death. I had read that he was 1 of Bruce's private students.

La seule vraie et unique version du Jeu de la Mort. Merci de la faire partager.
Bravo pour cette version que voulait Bruce Lee, contrairement au film ridicule qu'en ont fait les américains et mettant ces scènes dans un polar absurde.
Bruce lee the best ever this version of the film was the best without question bruce the best ever love him ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍
bien plus intéressant que la version qu'on a ici en france depuis des décennies...

Wow what a great RUclips find. My favorite of all Bruce Lee fights is with Hopkido legend Ji Han-jae who is still alive!

This 45 minutes of footage is worth going to see at the Movie theaters. They should've just released the movie like this and should've just explained that it was an unfinished project.
Emeka Adibe the theatrical release was just a cash grab 🤦🏻♂️
@@keepurbestinterest , I didn't like the theatrical release. It didn't even feel like a Bruce Lee movie. It was weird and edited.
Emeka Adibe,i agree and those final fight scenes were terribly put together.
Qe bonito rrecuerdos
I'ts like a videogame with different boss on each levels...
This movie would definitely be an epic if Bruce Lee could complete the filming before death. RIP.
would be epic if bruce lee didn't die at all

Bruce Lee is incredible. He knew fencing
When he first tried fencing with his bro Peter who was a champ fencer he couldn't strike him but eventually Peter couldn't stop him
Even in this generation, younger ones know who was Bruce Lee.
Waow fantastic, just see it for the first Time ! Fascinating and Moving for Say the least 😭😭😵😵😵

what made bruce lee's movies more realistic and appealing was that every fight scene was relatively short compared to other martial movies where fight scenes lasted like forever, not to mention the tons of camera tricks and stuntmen.
He took so little time to clean house. That's why!

@Marco Sunday watch the video again..bruce lee's first fight scene started at 6:30 mark and it ended at 26:30 which equals to 20 minutes. he also fought 3 opponents, not to mention the small talks, pauses and extra fight scenes of his two friends. now where is your 10 minutes??
le maître absolu à jamais!!!
He is a Monster!!!!! R. I. P Bruce lee
People say Bruce wasn't a professional fighter which is true.. however that doesn't mean that he can't whoop yo ass.
It's sad that his abilities are still to this day being questioned

The sound effects were hilarious !
9:40 How do you like that...then bruce wacks him 😂
that was a huge element of surprise for the guy.... hehehehe...
