- I finally made it on my first solo camping trip. I took my custom vintage Boler camper to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. I met up with some friends and had fun strolling the Boardwalk. Once I got past the backing in for the first time, I loved relaxing, cooking and sleeping. #vintagecamper #disney

Where do you want to see me go next?
How about Clear Water
@@evazee772 I was born in Tampa so I would love that. I have an adult son with autism so I am working him up to the idea of mommy only vacations lol 😂.
Go To visit the ocean. Love how you styled your Bolo. I am 70 and single. About 7 years I bought a trailer in Calif from Craigslist. I live in Arizona but keep it stored at an rv resort on the calif beach. I try to visit it every other month. I started out with a 28 footer thinking I would have more visitors. This year I downsized to an 18 footer which is perfect for me. It is my happy place. I can walk everywhere and the weather is moderate unlike ariz. bravo to you for having the spirit to adventure.
@@sallystites2946 I love your story thanks for sharing. I have a facebook page @nixpixlocal and I post videos of the beach everyday so that is definitely on my list
Thanks again 😎 enjoy your rig.
That camper is soo cute I love it!
Thank you so much 😊
I was laughing watching you back up. I can back up a long trailer but something small is a lot harder. I was impressed with how much room you have in your camper. It looks awesome
Thank you so much I think I’ll do better next time 😎 I love my camper 💯
What better place for a maiden voyage for Rose than Fort Wilderness! It looks great! What a marvelous setup you have!
Thank you and I agree 💯
I enjoyed your video. Surely looks cozy and bright. Happy trails! 😊🇨🇦
Thank you so much appreciate your time watching 😎
I enjoyed your video, and I'm glad you shared your backing in experience. I think its awesome that you shared it.
Thank you 😊 I’ll do better next time 🤔 I hope 😀
This was great.loved her camper is was beautiful sweet and luxurious.
Thank you 😊
For a first time backing you done a great job that camper is to cute
Thank you! 😊
This came up on my algorithm and I think it's just absolutely wonderful... I'm really happy for you I'm a single lady that is in my 60s and hopefully soon I'll be retiring in a year or so and I want to do what you're doing but do it full time😊.. thanks for the awesome video 😎
Thank you so much I’m excited for you to go full time that’s great I have an adult son with autism who doesn’t eat when I leave so only one night trips for now 😂 for me.
Love 💗 the caravan
Thank you 😊
Great. Memories
Thank you 😊
Your camper turned out so cute! I'm thinking about selling mine, and getting one a little bigger, with a wet bath.
Yea I didn’t miss the bath with those nice Disney comfort stations but anywhere else lol.
Thanks so much
Next making an awning
Ft. Wilderness is my favorite
Me too I’m glad because there will a lot from there 😎
One of my most favorite places! Enjoyed watching your trip.
Thank you I have plans on returning soon we will see if my backing up gets any better 😂
Omg your camper is sooo cute. I want one!
Thank you so much we found this one on Facebook marketplace 😊😎
@RoseTheBoler believe me, I started looking, but my husband and I don't have the talent to fix a vintage camper back to life lol. You guys did an amazing job.
@@CovitaFam thanks 😊 don’t give up took me over 5 years to find this one that’s the nice thing about the fiberglass ones not too much fixing you might find one intact they are out there 😎
Cute camper. I would get a water filter and surge protector. Just to be safe.❤
Thanks for the tip 😎
Many women are learning to live alone ☺️
Maybe I’m just trying to get 24 hours alone 😎 my husband stays home with my adult son who is autistic.
They can adopt a cat or two.
@@jimkelly4214 I don't need cats 😆

That looks like a great first outing with your Boler! Love the look of her - cute and cozy inside. I've never been to Fort Wilderness before, but it looks like a great spot to camp : )
Thank you so much I had a lovely time and fort wilderness is awesome and very safe 🤗 can’t wait to go back and do some serious camp cooking thanks for commenting. Now to see if my backing up gets any better 😂
It is a must. You get a lot of bang for your buck.
Loved your backing. Hilarious. Especially considering I'm a truck driver and have a much more complicated situation.
In my defense they say the shorter it is the harder it is to back up I was just turning it to much. Let’s see how I do next time 😎
@RoseTheBoler yes and no. Being short, it turns quick. But trading it for size makes it quite a bit harder. Now if you had something like a full size boat. That would be easier than your little trailer. We're going to be starting a vanlife channel later this year.
My 18 wheeler driving brother took me out with my tiny travel trailer & gave me some pointers. These little trailers tend to be harder. You just have to take your time.
love your style
Thank you 😊
In your defense a shot trailer is hard to back up. 👍👍
Thanks will do better next time 😂
You'll get better backing with practice!
I hope so 😎
What a wonderful first adventure with Rose. So happy you had a great time. Maybe a shell hunting trip next time.
🐚🤗🐚
Maybe 🤔
Never watched your video before...your camper is adorable and cozy! Each person has their own camping style. One word of advice....maybe stop all the music...
Good luck to you.
Thank you thanks for the advice I did the music inside because my quiet ac was not so quite lol but point taken 😉
@@RoseTheBoler there is a silemcer you can get for your AC unit. It is a product made by Wack O industries and they work great. We used the in our Class A, because they ACs are all loud. Have fun!
@@marsham333 thank you 😊
Loved your video. Will follow to see the vintage (which btw 1978? we'll I guess I'm old too). LOL What about Tampa? or the East coast beaches?
lol I know I don’t think I could call it vintage if it were an 80 would feel right 😂 yes I want to go shelling on west coast and definitely would love to find some east coast beach camping
Thanks for following along already working on my next adventure I’d like to bring some historical stuff to my videos too.
New subscriber. I’ve been talking to my wife about a Scamp or Boler. Anxious to follow along on your adventures. Great job so far. That is for the light review video.
Thank you so much for supporting the channel 😎 you m so happy with my little camper it’s perfect 🤩
Nice trailer! Like the video style! Think you should head up to NH, VT. Escape the heat of FL right now! Safe travels!👍🏽
I’ll have to work up to that lol I have an adult son with autism who currently won’t eat while I’m gone so just doing one night trips. Right now. Plus I’m a native so I don’t mind. Thanks for commenting 😎
I have never seen that few people. I hear it is impossible to get a site at Fort Wilderness? Love your Boler! Happy Travels.
Thank you it’s all about the time you want to go. Are plan ahead if you want to go during Halloween or Christmas book really early

Remember river country......anyone
I do from when I was a kid going there.
Suggestion: Google how to back a trailer. You seem to need help.
😂 thank you
Not bad for the first time and good experience
