    Respectfully, I disagree with doing a stretching routine after a workout. When you workout you are creating tiny tears in your muscle fibers, the repair of which is what stimulates growth and an increase in strength. Think of those little tears like a frayed rope… When you pull on a frayed rope it tears further. I think you’re absolutely right about warming up first but I think stretching (serious dedicated stretching) should be done ideally when you are fully recovered from any intense muscle building exercise.

      Yes, I see your point. Probably ideal to do it on a separate day if you can, but generally it will be hard to find the time between practice games and workouts. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it.
