@@icespittingfirethank you, lol I know you can count anything in 4/4 but it wouldn't make sense in this case. It's definitely a 12/8 otherwise no one could read it. I feel like they throw a couple 13/8's in the bridge just to keep the rhythm swirling. It would take me a year to decipher. I just enjoy the sound
you shouldnt think of meshuggah's songs in a time signature, they write all their songs based on 'algorithmic' patterns which they fit into 4/4. its relatively easier to think of it that way. but what do i know, maybe they're just crazy as their band name implies ;)@@pizzasmithdude
Yea Meshuggah thinks ab all their music as 4/4 just extraordinary syncopated. But the great thing is their is more than one way to feel the music that's just how they think ab it
Seeing people play meshuggah and cover it in good quality makes me think maybe I can play it too. Now I just have to find a quality 8 string to do it with.
Love this! full band cover videos we need MORE of, that you guys got this done together is an achievement in todays very individual world, mad respect, LOVE IT.
fucking right on! im also surprised he didnt butcher the solo as most meshuggah covers do! its usually one or the other, but you guys got both ;) HELL YEAH
Songs in this time signature remind me of a massive ship riding the waves in a storm. Something about it...
it’s 4/4
sort of a 12/8 feel to it though, I know what they mean

Everything about this video is amazing. Fat bass tone, great leads on the guitar, and solid on top of beat drums. This is awesome. Great job
Great 👍
An amazing cover, keep doing more like this one.
Such an underrated song, such an underrated performance. Amazing
Like the section at 2:15 is so good here. Sounds chunkier in this video than in the actual song!!!!!
Fantastic, best song on the album too imo

Not enough danger, too many palm mutes. Get more violent on that attack \m/
