I can agree with all of the list except for 3 of those choices. I always enjoyed Frigate Orpheon. I always knew at what intervals the stage would go dark at and when it rotated. It makes for some really easy and quick kills especially when you're opponent is too high up to properly defend themselves and if the stage flips just right they are pretty much trapped under the stage and self-destruct. I also enjoy the chaos that is The Great Cave Offensive. The fact that dying instantly at 100% with all the lava around can be really fun to use against your opponents especially if you're leading them towards one. Sure it's grand and that can be annoying but enjoyed the artistic aspect of it. In fact, it's up there in my Top 10 Favorite Smash Bros Stages. Now we come to Final Destination. And what can I say? It's the Final Destination for those who think playing causally makes the game fun. Sure I to can play causally but only if I'm wanting to complete all the challenges each game has you wanting to unlock. The flatness to the stage makes it easy to only focus on your opponents and items don't tend to fall off platforms when they bounce. 5:21 “this has got to be one of the hardest stages to get a KO in” Say that again after I’ve knocked one of those koopas on its back, grab it, then throw it at you sending you flying off the stage!
one of the reasons I wish Elma got added with a new stage based on an area from Xenoblade X....I don't hate Gaur Plains, and Xenoblade Chronicles is my 2nd favorite game of all time, but omfg why isn't there a better stage and/or at least Uncontrollable from X in the soundtrack?
I’ve seen a Level 9 CPU go TOWARDS the blast zone on that stage. And then it proceeded to flex on the other Level 9 CPU by SDing and then Jumping under the stage when they couldn’t recover.
The #1 entry here kind of reminds me of a create-a-stage I made once...except my create-a-stage version, more of the platforms moved and there's a spike pit you have to double jump to get out of (so it's a death trap for low level computer players).
Palutena's Temple is one of my least favorite of the bunch. It was designed for 8 player Smash, yet you're *completely* unable to clearly see yourself even with 8 players. Plus, bigger stages just mean more space and longer survival, lengthening matches and preventing better, more fun stages from being played on. Also, it's pretty funny how 75M manages to have one of the worst music tracks too (75M)
I only like Mario Bros. for feeling like it's own game mode: You don't knock out people by your own attacks, but by enemies that can be picked up that when hit, will always send opponents horizontally. I also like Pac-land for the hidden references of power-up you find like in the arcade. It's just a shame they don't have the original song it plays for that game however.
I find New Pork is actually fairly decent if its an 8-Player match. The huge open area in the middle gives plenty of room for people to fly in and get involved in other skirmishes after the initial split of players
My favorite stage that gets no love was back in melee, Pokémon Float. In this one you are fighting on Pokémon shaped parade balloons that slowly move across the screen in different directions. Hard to hold your ground, but not so fast that you had to avoid fighting. Wish that stage got more love
In Brawl I designed a stage that is even worse than 75m. In this stage almost everything is a floating and moving platform. The ONLY solid ground is the tiles that fall away when you stand on them which are at the bottom and which I was forced to include. Literally everything else is not solid ground. Items would appear and then fall since they hardly ever fell onto a platform and it was insanely difficult to move around to fight others due to the fact that if you fell then you had better hope that you get lucky enough to fall onto a platform, and I loved every minute of it due to the shear insanity of it.
I agree with most of these, except for Frigate Orpheon and Rumble Falls. I've always liked those two stages, and I had kinda wished that Rumble Falls would make a re-appearance. You're absolutely right about Pac-Land, though. The Omega and Battlefield versions really don't help it much visually, so most people don't play it and miss out on all of the great Namco tunes.

The stage makes so many even matchups just unfair and broken
I'm happy you actually pointed out the Chain grabbing w/ M2K
You have no idea how glad I am that you got straight into the video. I'm so tired of unneeded 1 minute long (usually longer) intros. Thank you for being a beacon of hope in these dark times
We can all agree that 75 m is always one of the worst. Getting Pauline’s spirit was a nightmare!
75 m is just horrible, I hate it because there is barely any area to fight on and I would usually die before even being able to attack. I so agree with that option.
I always liked new pork city bc it has a cool design
Bad stage. Good omega stage.
The omega is good
Thx for all the likes
Why FD? The lights from 4 are a TINY bit annoying, but even then, that doesn't warrant it being here. It's completely normal for stages to have THINGS in the background. But no, way worse than Palutena's Temple
Brawl and Smash 4 really have most of the stinkers
I feel like those two games are the ones that took the most risks, so it's valid.
It's funny because Smash 3DS has an infinitely better stage lineup than Smash WiiU
Coolman Hahn Agreed 3DS has some great ones.
@@dannykazari agreed . Though smash wii u had some great stages but smash 3ds was far better
Coolman Hahn facts. The 2 things that are better for Smash 3DS than Wii U is Smash Run and Stages. The technical limitations are good in that case, because they don’t prevent people from actually fighting.
HD GAUR PLAINS NEXT YEAR BABY. BEST JRPG OF ALL TIME
Bad stages: Anything that’s not tourney legal
Good stages: Tourney legal, yes even FD and Lylat
You’d be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn’t love Temple
Most RUclipsrs: *takes 2 minutes to start a top 10*
JWittz: *takes less than 20 seconds to start a top 10*
This is why you're one of the best RUclipsrs.
Disagree with you on Frigate Orpheon. It’s one of my favorite stages, WAY better than Norfair.
I think of all the JWittz's there exist, the "slowly getting more salty" JWittz is the best.
As seen in such classics as " Garbotoxin!" and Pokemon board game "Time machiiiiiiiine"
Man I love New Port City but, that manly cause of the music.
The moment I saw the thumbnail I thought "If 75 M isn't number one, this whole list is pointless." I'm glad you made the right choice.
I think Pokefloats is the best scrolling level because the level scrolls, not you. So you can focus on fighting.
Jwittz: Final Destination.
Me: Thank you. Oh my god, I hate the fact that having no platforms restricts your movement and-
Jwittz: For it's background.
Me: Ah, well, I thought they were pretty cool.
5:21 “this has got to be one of the hardest stages to get a KO in”
Say that again after I’ve knocked one of those koopas on its back, grab it, then throw it at you sending you flying off the stage!
I forgot Mario Bros was even a stage
Ok but Fox lookin pretty cute in the thumbnail
true but at the same time he’s disgustang
I may be alone in this but Hanenbow is actually one of my favorite stages both in brawl and ultimate. I just think it's fun to play on personally.
Idk about FD if you were focused on fighting you shouldn’t be distracted by the background
Oh I hate 75m probably the most out of all arenas I´ve ever had the displeasure to fight in in any fighting or beat´em-up game.
I hate how boring the ONLY Xenoblade stage is, at least the Omega and Battlefield versions are great
Yup 😎👍 if you could have one more Xenoblade stage in smash what would it be?
I personally want a transforming stage that goes to different areas of Xenoblade X
one of the reasons I wish Elma got added with a new stage based on an area from Xenoblade X....I don't hate Gaur Plains, and Xenoblade Chronicles is my 2nd favorite game of all time, but omfg why isn't there a better stage and/or at least Uncontrollable from X in the soundtrack?
"Pac-Land" also has several very annoying hazards, most notably the squirting fire hydrants.
If Brinstar Depths is on here, there will be prob- Nevermind, Number 9 shut me up.
Nothing like Wittz going for the potentially risky joke, then being cut off at the last second by meme music and the end card.
Orpheon is my favorite stage oof. whats wrong with the flip? big baby.
Fox in the thumbnail reminds me of that one episode of MLP where Twilight went crazy
I play on the Omega version of Gaur Plains for the music.
8:19 that Mewtwo play tho
I find New Pork is actually fairly decent if its an 8-Player match. The huge open area in the middle gives plenty of room for people to fly in and get involved in other skirmishes after the initial split of players
U know this guy’s a noob when he has hazards on, and doesn’t like FD
I discovered this channel so long ago.... it’s one of the first channels I regularly watched... good to see it’s still kicking
You hate big stages but don’t include Palutena’s Temple? Okay.
I don't mind Final Destination for 1v1, but once a third player comes into the mix, everything comes apart.
I think PAC-Land is really underrated. I love it.
Same, kinda.
Me too
The best thing about a new JWittz upload is trying to guess where he’s gonna put DAT 50 DOLLA BILL
The light at 2:38 always distracted me while fighting Master and Crazy hands. Did anyone else have this problem?
A lot did, but I never had an issue using it for competitive play.
I did
My favorite stage that gets no love was back in melee, Pokémon Float. In this one you are fighting on Pokémon shaped parade balloons that slowly move across the screen in different directions. Hard to hold your ground, but not so fast that you had to avoid fighting. Wish that stage got more love
Hot Take: Battlefield is overrated. Don't argue with me.
Town and City is so much better anyway
In Brawl I designed a stage that is even worse than 75m. In this stage almost everything is a floating and moving platform. The ONLY solid ground is the tiles that fall away when you stand on them which are at the bottom and which I was forced to include. Literally everything else is not solid ground. Items would appear and then fall since they hardly ever fell onto a platform and it was insanely difficult to move around to fight others due to the fact that if you fell then you had better hope that you get lucky enough to fall onto a platform, and I loved every minute of it due to the shear insanity of it.
0:16 Burger king foot lettuce
I specifically love all the Final Destination stages because of the background transformations lol to each their own.
My least favorite stage in Super Smash Bros is Wily Castle Because Yellow Devil is so annoying
yes
What if you wanted to have fun,
But icicle mountain said,
"UpWaRdS aUtOsCrOlL"
Lol I think I’m alone in having New Pork City as my favorite stage
I like new pork city too
You ain't alone, dude. I love New Pork. Yeah, it's BIG but I had fun fighting on it plus it's interesting IMO.
I like how he recorded footage of CPUs because he doesn’t want to play on the stages himself.
"I don't like Final Destination".... (Michael Scott meme) *slaps desk* THANK YOU!
I didn't particularly hate 75m...until I did some spirit battles there...
Now I despise that place...
Your thumbnail reminds me of why I hate smash fans.
No items
No sword users
Final destination
S-tier only!
