Pokédex entries for Machop Line basically hammer into us that due to their immense power those Pokémon are terrible at anything that requires any sort of finesse. Mega Evolution requires a trainer to properly channel the energy to keep Pokémon from overwhelming them. D-Max and G-Max requires the trainer to coordinate movements and once again to control the energy flow.
