I worked for a concert promoter in the 80’s. VanHalen played a show and Eddie had just stopped drinking so their manager asked me to sit with him in his hotel room. So I got PAID to hang out with Eddie VanHalen!!! He was really cool and just a nice guy. Even though he had just played a show he spent the rest of the evening playing guitar in his hotel room. After a while he said he was ready to go to bed so I left. I got to play his guitar, he gave me some picks and instead of giving me an autograph he wrote me a little note and signed it. It was awesome
Robert Frias....agree with all but I would add 'The Riffmaster', Steven Maynard Clark the real genius of Def Leppard who had it all, he was, remains their primary song writer, he created the harmonies, melodies, riffs, hook and bends and was a rock star who strapped low oozed cool. Steve's playing was mesmerizing. His loss remains incalculable.

Ace is so cool . He's awsome. Nothing beats the original Ace . So far, to date, I never got to see Ace perform with the original members. I did get to meet him an autograph signing at a music store in Detroit during his first Comets Tour.

I've always loved Ace. I was 14 when Kiss first came out and the songs written by Ace were really cool. His solos in concert are very entertaining. I also am a big fan of his solo work out side of Kiss

When Bruce came on board their music got heavy, thrashy, exciting, unpreditcable. Then when he has to leave it went back to Psycho circus which was good because Bruce pretty much wrote all the guitars on it already. then after that things have been shit ever since because Tommy is shit. Bruce brought KISS to life that no other guitarist did for them. KISS was great before him because Paul and Gene, Ace was always replaceable

Being one of the Millions of fans who grew up listening to KISS in the 70's, I know that I am in no way alone in saying I'd give anything to meet the man and shake his hand. But I'm nothing but words on a screen and no one worth the time. But I listen the Art he recorded every single day, and brought my kids up listening to him break the laws of science with a guitar, and now I'm playing his music for my grandson. I'd sell all I own to have one of his guitars and more to even meet the man. And for that I know I am Also not alone. If he ever reads this, Thanks man. ..you were and Are an inspiration in my life past and present. I think the Heart of KISS was lost when you were no longer in the group. KISS isn't KISS without you. I just bought the new record. He has NO filler on this. Pursuit of RN’R is the best song from it b/c it references the Stones and all those other bands. And I also just replaced my lost copy of the 78’ Solo album on CD 💿 In August. I still need it on vinyl. This man made NO mistakes. And that INCLUDES The Elder.

I just bought the new record. He has NO filler on this. Pursuit of RN’R is the best song from it b/c it references the Stones and all those other bands. And I also just replaced my lost copy of the 78’ Solo album on CD 💿 In August. I still need it on vinyl. This man made NO mistakes. And that INCLUDES The Elder.

There is no gang in The Warriors called The Duckies. I think in another interview, Ace said they changed their name to The Killers in the movie. Even if that were true, then The Duckies were still not in the movie. And there was no gang in the movie listed as being called The Killers either.
