- I was lucky enough to see up close, again, a Bell helicopter take off. It brought back a lot of memories. The pilot told me it was basically a Huey with four blades. This was taken with a cheesy little $100 Canon Coolpix camera. The pilot told me it was faster than the old UH-1F Huey, but he liked the way the Huey handled better. This was shot on Helipad at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital.

Doesn’t take to long to get up and go.
Dang sick catches! it flies over my house almost every day!
when I see that bell 412,it had a light on its tail
As much as I absolutely love the MD-902 I have to say that after trying both the 412 is much easier to fly and obviously has more power but just not as safe as the 902.

There are more Bell Huey series (204, 205, 212 ,412 and Huey 2) than the MD 902. The NOTAR system is much safer. When Boeing bought McDonnell Douglas Helicopters, they wanted to pass the NOTAR technology to Bell but Sikorsky filed an antitrust suit and that's how MD Helicopters was formed.
LAPD is changing to this helicopter
+Llamas1200 Ramirez I'd like to fly in one just to see the difference.
Some ppl just don't know how to keep their camera on a moving target

My old man was in Air Ops. Got to fly in these a few times. Epic helicopters.
I never flew in one of these, but I flew in the UH-1Fs in the USAF, there were a lot of fun. I flew in one from Minot N.Dakota to Corpus Christi, that was not so much fun, LOL!!!!!!
