YES arisong I can’t wait!! even some reaction channels that react to like every single kpop release missed them for some reason, so im happy to see y’all are doing it the song is so damn good
"They haven't heard real noise if they think that's noise music" THIS!!!!!!!!!!! as a big fan of noise rap (particularly clipping) it's a huge pet peeve when I see kpop fans taking the term noise music and applying it to EDM that isn't even all that abrasive. I feel like I sound like a snob but it really does bother me so much and I wish kpop fans would just say the actual genres (edm/trap/etc) instead. edit: omg the likes on this.. y'all better go stream Body & Blood by clipping RIGHT NOW
i think when people say noise music they don't know thats actually a genre, theyre just saying the music sounds bad or disjointed 😭 bc i do like noise but some kpop songs are just .... not arranged the best imo lol
@@AWEsome3GIRl3sam yeah I know it's because they don't know, I just wish people would put a little more effort into looking up what things mean instead of jumping off buzz words or whatever I guess? I feel on arrangements though lol.
Yeah exactly; there's no group in Kpop that has a sound similar to the genre of noise music. And I'm a bit lukewarm on noise music - I can hear the appeal, but it's not something I choose to listen to much; this isn't a sentiment of "Kpop can't equal true noise music" - just that it's not an accurate comparison.
@@SWCcomposer I've been hoping to hear even just little real noise in kpop for yearssss. i think taeyong (from nct) could absolutely body a clipping-esque beat 😔 maybe one day
People call noise anything they can't comprehend because it's too far from what they are used to. I'm a metal fan, I hear that stupid fucking shit on a daily basis, the same concept applies to every single person who says that about any song or genre. It literally comes from ignorance.
I think people say "it's noise music" when they just don't like a song and want to put it down. I love this comeback, and I liked their other stuff, too, but until LA DI DA, my favorite was Bon Bon Chocolat. That song was such a great debut I'm still not over it. XD
YES I really love how they’re changing things up a bit from their usual sound but still keeping that everglow essence (like their signature buildup before the chorus hits) and it still sounds very much everglow, but different!! (Idk how to explain it😂) I really love how certain groups who has the “usual sound” does something different but relatively still them; an example would be Gfriend’s transition from Sunrise to Crossroads to Apple. Or in a similar situation, how Itzy is going back and forth from a melodic chorus to an instrumental chorus. It doesn’t keep you bored.
Jaeithil I’m not sure you’re getting my point😂 it doesn’t matter whether the singers are different, god I can’t explain this in a musical term but even if we remove the vocals, just the instrumental itself or keep the melody but someone is just humming it. I’m giving Gfriend as an example again, their debut song “Glass Bead” a lot of people said it sounded like an early SNSD Song due to its similarity vibe to Into the New World. Or listen to Shaylen’s kpop demo song (unreleased) titled “Runaway” for me, that song sounds like it could be sung by Red Velvet. Or how SuperM’s Tiger Inside sounds like it could be an NCT song. They have this “brand” of sound that they’re known for. Or most popularly, Blackpink’s recent songs (I’m gonna exclude their earlier songs since they’re very diversed) DDU, Kill This Love and How You Like That all sound similar that a lot of people are starting to want something new. A youtuber by the name of Zsunder made a “Blackpink Song” and yeah I could totally imagine blackpink releasing a song like that as that kind of One Line Chorus, edm(?), random lyrics, bass and whatnot fits the “Blackpink song formula” Teddy built for them. Last example for my original comment above is KARD. They were always known for their tropical genre songs and now their title tracks evolved and now we have Gunshot, which is far from a tropical genre, but still very much KARD. Oh wait, another example is Super Junior, their songs always gives me a spicy latin feel, its their “song brand” My terms could be wrong (since Im not an expert) but I do hope my statement and opinion is clear enough😂 Have a good day!!
Yes this is a synthwave song. That's literally what it is. An all the songs people talked about above my comments are song inspired by synthwave. If you like the style, this is an entire genre with full albums and everything, it's deep. It's not just a style or an inspiration of old music, it's very much alive right now.
I think the prechorus is genious! Its like they took the retro feeling and made it true to kpop! Ollipop is very much following the trend of pop music and can't help but get influence by the retro tracks that came out this year, blinding light and physical most definitely!

@bacteriadance Oh damn I didn't know that haha. Glad to know he still sticks around then! I know some of the reactors have left once they've graduated but I wasn't sure if he already did.
I think what I like most about this song is just how much momentum it has. I just listened to April’s “Oh! My Mistake” the other day, and it gives me the same feeling of being pulled through the song. I’m glad y’all enjoyed it so much. :)
I freaking love the fact that Kevin mentioned Sin City. The whole video and the whole vibe reminded me of that movie the moment I saw it. Everglow nailed it.
I LOVE these reactions ! Very detailed and deep ! I HONESTLY learned more about the song when I thought I've known every part since I've listened to it for a thousand times! Well, I'm not a musician tbh. Made me love this song even more ! I didn't know there was still the La di da at Yiren's turn it up loud but slowed down, it was my favorite part and now that I noticed and hear that detail I became obsessed ! Thank you guys !
Have to say I was with Umu on the "Adios" train, it was my favorite title track from Everglow, though I think "Moon" and "Hush" were my favorite tracks overall. When I first heard "La Di Da," I didn't really know what I thought about it. I couldn't decide whether it was a song I kinda liked, or one I really liked. Well, it's a song I really like. In fact it took down "Adios" with relative ease in the end, and firmly planted itself at the top of my list. I like everything about it, the overall retro vibe, the mid synths that change throughout and even get a little solo, the relatively clean yet still kinda dirty bass, Onda getting a bit more screen time, Mia's high note, everything Sihyeon does vocally, Aisha and EU killing the rap sections...literally everything about this song draws me in until the last moment. Tis a job well done. Also, yes, the choreo for this song is pretty epic, especially the way they stand up from one of the floor sections is simply awesome.
4:55 Umu nailed my exact thoughts, HAHA. While I liked all three of Everglow's previous title tracks, I categorized all of them as noise music, and I got incredibly tired of them after a few days of repeats. But with this comeback, it's like Everglow heard me (and others who felt the same) and did exactly what we wanted, haha. I honestly loved the vibe so much from this song! It really reminds me and captures the same EXACT thing Dua Lipa was going for with her "Future Nostalgia" album, and the track itself was like a brilliant mix of "Physical" with the mesmerizing choreography of RV-I&S's "Naughty" mixed with Chungha's "Stay Tonight." This comeback was perfect and is 100% one of the better comebacks of the year so far!
YES FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT! Noise music is so irritating and it is the reason why I don't like Everglow music because they always put out such edm noise chorus with no lyrics and it's kind of overrepeated and overrated but THIS Changes EVERYTHING and got me to be a fan of them!
The whole album is a masterpiece, especially untouchable which is another retro-themed song. Everglow is starting to get my attention and well this comeback is much more of an improvement in terms of their discography. Plus, Sihyeon's vocal fits perfectly with this song.
I’ve been enjoying these 80’s inspired releases coming from western pop artists (think Dua Lipa or Ava Max) so I’m very happy to see Kpop groups tackling the same.
Hello! Here's my take as an Everglow fan/Forever! Personally, I loved that they went for a different style/sound this time around. The reason being as much as I love Dun Dun & Adios, those 2 songs weren't really songs that were fit for all of the girls' voices and it didn't really allow everyone to shine. As a Forever LA DI DA was perfect not just cause it was a really nostalgic yet fresh track that was full of surprises but also cause it gave ample moments for all girls to shine. I thought it'll take time for Yuehua to find a style/formula that would suit all 6 girls & their unique voices and personalities, but they successfully did it in LA DI DA! I was so impressed! It was also really their own distinct sets of talents & voices that made the song so diverse & satisfying to listen to, so yeah everyone really did a phenomenal job this comeback. The music production team ofc, the video production team, their A&R, the choreographers and of course the girls themselves who were so committed in perfecting their craft & showing massive improvements and growth in their singing, dancing & performance in general!
A lot people said this song reminds them of blinding lights, I'd say it reminds me of physical by dua lipa as well, especially the hollow fast paced electronic instrumental.
All of you guys needs to get out of your widely popular songs bubble and educate yourself on music in general. I'm not saying this to sound mean, I'm saying this so you can explore this every expanding musical universe. La Di Da is synthwave, and the songs you mentioned are inspired by synthwave. It's an entire genre that is very much alive right now with tons of groups, songs and albums, it's pretty big. La Di Da is not "like" Blinding Lights or "like" Physical, it's straight up synthwave and you should look that shit up if you like it, there's amazing stuff for you to discover far far far beyond the pop music bubble, please don't limit yourself to just this tiny musical spectrum.
I love how you can agree to disagree on certain aspects, its always refreshing to listen to different points of view within a video! Also, your discussion part felt like a zoom class to me lol, I felt like I was literally on the call. Online classes have really affected me omg. But amazing video! and this comeback was soooooooooooo good!!
Kevin's stank face at the instrumental bridge/dance break gives me so much life. Totally agree with the Blinding Lights comparison, especially since the timing is right after Blinding Lights got popular worldwide.
PD react to this, he likes it a lot. Umu & Kevin react to this, they like it a lot. Dun! I have seen all the reactions that I need. And thank you for the pun. Yes, Everglow will for-evergrow.
4:56 It sounds like you're talking to me! I actually had that thought. But, this song is so good. I was intentionally avoiding the Everglow song, but I heard this song while passing by and fell for it.
Something about those synth sounds and chords reminds me of Phantom of the Opera. I don't know why except for the iconic Phantom of the Opera synth organ sound also has very powerful chords. Anyway, I like La Di Da a lot. I think it's easily their best song although not necessarily my favorite.
Best song they’ve put out (and I really liked dun dun) ... it feels very 80/90’s and the chorus melody is one of the nicest to come out of kpop for a while...
100% got blinding lights when i first listened to it as well but ive been vibing with that type of music lately. Loved this song from them it was a good one
i hope they'll continue with their versatility especially with their title tracks. their b sides are VERY versatile but a lot of people only listens to title tracks so if they only hear the "noise music" songs, they might be turned off. la di da was definitely very different, i hope they'll continue with this sound!
Thank you at least theres still people appriciate how awesome La di da Everglows La di da is such a bop Im totally love the music, i hope more people recognize how amazing dis song is
I really like the subtle bass line too, it's more like a growling synth with maybe some slight flanger effect. Also, surprisingly, this was written by the same people as Dun Dun & Adios :) And yes, I totally loving this song ;)
the first time i heard La Di Da, i was immediately reminded of Physical by Dua Lipa and Mia's line after E:U's rap in the 2nd verse sounds like a slighty changed melody of Onda's and Aisha lines in Bon Bon Chocolat did anybody else notice that too?
Anyone wants Umu and Kevin to react to Cignature's "Arisong"? I'm lowkey highkey waiting for the day it happens... Love the reactions from both!!! It's always good to have Kevin reacting :)
the lyric talks about ignoring haters, and according to me I understood that when the girls say "LA DI DA....." it's like when they annoy children and they cover their ears saying "LA LA LA LA LA LA....", so as not to listen/ignore what they're told, and that's why the phrase "got no tiem for haters now cut it out everything(I'am like) la di da di da di da di da".
Really though I was so excited for y’all to react to this I’ve had this on repeat since it came out and I know I’m not catching all the fun stuff y’all point out
I’m trying to recall an 80’s/early 90’s song with the type of bass synth they use in the verses that you were trying to describe but the example I think of first is Pony by Ginuwine haha. I’m sure there’s a big 80’s hit I’m forgetting with that style of synth in it, but overall it adds to the tracks 80’s glam pop vibe. This has to be one of my favourite kpop songs almost of all time. It’s just so good
I agree with Kevin, La di da is really really good but the part where I am not like a huge fan was the pre-chorus. I mean the pre-chorus is'nt bad at all but usually I am not a fan of those type of pre-chorus where everything turned slow and gentle and agree it kind of interrupted the flow of the song for me but stilll it the song was really good and one of the best this year.
the melody reminds me a lot of Nightwish's Sleeping Sun LADIDA is way faster and has a _completely_ different vibe but I cannot help think about that song

I freaking love the fact that Kevin mentioned Sin City. The whole video and the whole vibe reminded me of that movie the moment I saw it. Everglow nailed it.
Kevin‘s ‚it doesn‘t feel like plastic‘ about the production is so iconic
This song is oozing confidence, and it's soo good. I'm starting to like Everglow's music more.
"EVERGLOW FOREVER LETSGO" ICONIC
I didn’t think everglow could top dun dun and then they said JUST KIDDING 80S RETRO IS BACK
Anyone else getting 2nd gen vibes from this? The leather pants and eurodance- inspired beats seem kinda familiar.. i love the style for everglow ngl
This song is my favorite everglow song. I think they did such an amazing job in pulling the concept off.
A lot people said this song reminds them of blinding lights, I'd say it reminds me of physical by dua lipa as well, especially the hollow fast paced electronic instrumental.
Yess i was immediately reminded of physical
@@charred6683 oh my thank you for educating me on things I already know , your soo helpful
@@Everythingisromanticass Snark much?
@@TalkingAboutYooh snark lotss
This is Everglow's best song for me. Everything that I wanted, they made it.
Okay but can we all just talk about Umu’s whistling in the beginning. Like the LATATA TATATATATATA part was on point lol
I can't agree more with what he said that It doesn't feel plastic
This is straight up 80's
Nobody:
Literally nobody:
The reactors: *nodding their heads*
Kevin's stank face at the instrumental bridge/dance break gives me so much life.
Totally agree with the Blinding Lights comparison, especially since the timing is right after Blinding Lights got popular worldwide.
kevin not knowing the song was actually called dun dun I’m crying 😭😭😭😭
Yet he sung it like "dunn dunnn dunn dunn dunn" lmaoo
Haha
Looooooooooool
PD react to this, he likes it a lot. Umu & Kevin react to this, they like it a lot. Dun! I have seen all the reactions that I need.
And thank you for the pun. Yes, Everglow will for-evergrow.
Just so you know, I think PD goes by the pronoun "they" :)
@@serendestiny7574 Yes, Form of Therapy goes by the pronoun "they", but when I say PD, I'm referring to that person who appears on the screen.
@@mehdiirfani1 I'm not sure I understand your point ?
@@serendestiny7574 Wait, now I'm not sure I understanding your point. What do you mean 'goes by the pronoun they'?
@@mehdiirfani1 I think they just prefer to be refered to as "they" because of their gender identity, I'm not sure but they might be non-binary :)
Everglow came to turn everyone into stans!
Glad you reacted to this! Well made nostalgia is a delight during these times :")
Loved this comeback! They nailed the 80's sound and it's really catchy and just plain...good!
I have been waiting for your reaction all week! Thanks for doing it. Love your input as always.
I noticed a lot of groups are incorporating 80s style synths and I am loving it. This one was the best example.
I adore the chorus. Its so triumphant and cool but also something you could just dance around your room to
YESSSSS FINALLY!!!! Been waiting for you guys since the song came out!!!
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!!
When u put disco lights on Kevin I cracked up so hard I loved it LOL thank u editor!!!!
4:56 It sounds like you're talking to me!
I actually had that thought.
But, this song is so good.
I was intentionally avoiding the Everglow song, but I heard this song while passing by and fell for it.
AGREE on the teaser video of this music video first impression is really BLINDING LIGHTS by weekend
Yes! Was hoping you'd do LA DI DA, good stuff Umu and Kevin!
I was waiting for ya'll to drop this. I just knew you guys would love it.
Something about those synth sounds and chords reminds me of Phantom of the Opera. I don't know why except for the iconic Phantom of the Opera synth organ sound also has very powerful chords. Anyway, I like La Di Da a lot. I think it's easily their best song although not necessarily my favorite.
I really enjoyed that prechorus. That low notes from aisha especially. So good
Best song they’ve put out (and I really liked dun dun) ... it feels very 80/90’s and the chorus melody is one of the nicest to come out of kpop for a while...
I instantly fell in love with the melody
YEEES I THOUGHT THAT TOO, IT SOUNDS LIKE THE WEEKEND BLINDING LIGHTS, BUT I LOVE IT THOO ❤️❤️❤️❤️
the vibes of this song is immaculate. when i listen to it i feel like a bad ass female warrior in year 2160
I'm loving the editor man
I've been waiting for this reaction omg
100% got blinding lights when i first listened to it as well but ive been vibing with that type of music lately. Loved this song from them it was a good one
I loved the video thanks I already missed you. Greetings from Mexico and take care of yourselves a lot please 💜✨
THIS IS MY NEW ANTHEM I WAS WAITING FOR THIS REACTION THANKS
Everglow is honestly a breath of fresh air on the kpop scene
Yessss I’ve been waiting for this video!!
omg, i’ve been listening to this song nonstop
i hope they'll continue with their versatility especially with their title tracks. their b sides are VERY versatile but a lot of people only listens to title tracks so if they only hear the "noise music" songs, they might be turned off. la di da was definitely very different, i hope they'll continue with this sound!
Thank you at least theres still people appriciate how awesome La di da
Everglows La di da is such a bop
Im totally love the music, i hope more people recognize how amazing dis song is
When the first I listen to la di da, i was literally crying, because it's so beautiful ❤️
4:46 I KNOW RIGHT ITS ALSO LIKE THAT ON SPOTIFY TOO
I really like the subtle bass line too, it's more like a growling synth with maybe some slight flanger effect.
Also, surprisingly, this was written by the same people as Dun Dun & Adios :)
And yes, I totally loving this song ;)
Everglow forever let's go ❤️❤️
From Indonesian 🇮🇩🇮🇩
I was waiting for this!
the first time i heard La Di Da, i was immediately reminded of Physical by Dua Lipa
and Mia's line after E:U's rap in the 2nd verse sounds like a slighty changed melody of Onda's and Aisha lines in Bon Bon Chocolat
did anybody else notice that too?
This is by far my favorite Everglow song.
That is the very very first thing I thought about the song - the influence from Blinding Lights from Weekend. It's so similar to that, the whole vibe.
It is because both are from the same genre. It is not similar but it has the same genre.
The editor had a field day with this one :D
I was expecting everglow to fall into the genetic edm hole but *they sure showed me by coming out with an 80s sythwave banger like DAMN*
EVERGLOW FOREVER LETS GO 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
everglow forever lets go!!! damnnn love that
Tbh I come to this channel to look for song suggestions cuz they got good taste in music and good analysis as well
everglow will take over, im telling yall, i have really high hopes for them! enhypen too!
This is Everglow's best song to date and Top Kpop 2020`s
This is one of the best comebacks this year.
Glad I wasn't the only one who experienced panic before the final chorus the first time i heard it LOL
Yes yes YEEEEEESSSS EVERGLOW FOREVER LETS GO
Really though I was so excited for y’all to react to this I’ve had this on repeat since it came out and I know I’m not catching all the fun stuff y’all point out
씨야의 노래를 댄스버전으로 한다면 이런 느낌 일듯한 느낌. 조영수 작곡가의 느낌이 납니다. 기분좋은 바람이 나를 스치는듯한 그런 느낌의 곡들...
There is something about this song that reminds me so much of Powerpuff Girls and I love it!
(my opinion) This is the best song of Everglow!!!!! I can't stop listen to it
La Di di da reminds of blinding lights with the instrumentals
I can't be the only one whose favorite part is actually the pre-chorus, right? Cuz Onda's vocals are like the butter to my bread XD
the melody reminds me a lot of Nightwish's Sleeping Sun
LADIDA is way faster and has a _completely_ different vibe but I cannot help think about that song
Best Everglow song and choreo ever! Put this in the next Tarantino, Rodrigues, Miller Sin City movie.
Kevin and Umu will always be my favorite duo.
