I always considered around 1969 was the peak for ITC TV shows...........apart from the long running The Saint, we also had new shows like Department S and Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased)........all very good, with cracking theme tunes from Edwin Astley........and all the shows were quality productions filmed in colour, in a time where very few people had colour TV's, but we all benefit from ITC's foresight nowadays.

If you were ever lucky enough to get a signed Leslie Charteris he would add the stick man drawing. LC was an amazing guy in his own right.
Great 60's big -band sound,complete with(Star Trek-style)opera singer.
The pop-art (patrick calfield)inspired images are also enigmatic.
There weren't many composers who could do themes like Ted Astley did!
