Good work again Howard, like that hardy with you at the helm is pushing the boundaries of rod design even further.

Howard is the reason I've slowly started to replace nearly my entire quiver for Hardy saltwater rods. Well done again, Sir.

Howard you showed me the 1912 Perfect at last year's Game Fair, (Ragley Hall) and I couldn't get it out of my mind. Took delivery of one yesterday (the 3 1/8") - it really is the Bentley of fly reels, you honour the water when you fish something like this. Planning to use it as a 5-wt river and stillwater reel on 8'6" and 9' rods. My agate looks browner than yours, not really red, I suppose they're all different given it's a natural undyed substance?

Yes , the Agate is a natural material and varies in colour to some degree . Having a slightly different shade from the norm or one with a unique pattern as sometimes happens, gives the reels a unique look. Hope you enjoy using it , they are built to fish , although many end up spending a lifetime on display !.

Thank you Howard! I already have one beautiful searun cutthroat on 6wt Marksman Z. Beautiful light salt rod for Vancouver BC beaches and coastal rivers. It will be also my fresh water streamer rod. Do you have new euro line rods in plans using FLT blanks?
