I agree with your rating for Canopy. Criminally underrated and most videos are from the Kickstarter period. It got overlooked after release. I absolutely love it 2 player and solo, and as you say the artwork is drop dead gorgeous.
Ewwwwwwww!! :P Love the game, not that card! On that note, look up the Nightmares expansion for the upcoming Unconscious Mind - if you like spiders, there's a couple of nightmare fuel cards/overlays for you that scare the crap out of me!
@@TheBrokenMeeple Lol. To be fair, I know that a lot of people don't like spiders, but I keep a number of tarantulas. They used to creep me out a bit, but now I just find them fascinating.:)
I agree with a lot of your reviews but I disagree that the original Fantasy Realms art work was bad. My friends and I have played it ton over the past few years and prefer it to the very cartoony new version. Also, I love it being in a small box as it it such a perfect filler to toss into a bag for all occasions. I do fully agree with your 9/10 rating of the game….which is the important part! Cheers.
Dear Luke, Oneiro is the greek word for a dream. Further, naute/nauts is the Greek word for sailor (metaphorically meaning wonderer / traveler). I would pronounce it as onironauts
I actually prefer the old artwork to the deluxe version. I don't dislike the new art but it's the same art from skulk hollow, summoner wars 2E, century golem, etc. I like having a game with a different style. It's definitely not bad though. Firefly legendary is bad art. This is just standard fantasy art you would see on a book cover.
For the dream game, it would seem easy enough to use components of other word games with Dixit cards, of which I have hundreds, to play this game without buying the actual game.
Luke, have you played Marvel Remix? If you were buying one, would you get FR Deluxe or Marvel Remix? I definitely want to try Canopy. I think Paul liked it a lot also when you played before Essen.
Not really, the table was essentially a warranty replacement for my previous table which had wonky leg issues and was too large. It took over a year to get it sorted and as much as I prefer this table it has one or two niggles. Just don't feel comfortable singing the praises after a year of bad customer service.

Yeah it needs a bit more attention but sadly it's about new hotness all the time.
I love spiders. Yay for the Goliath Bird Eater! 🤣🤣🤣I really enjoy Canopy!

Artwork will always be subjective - whatever works for your group :-)
Just got fantasy realms, my son crushed us. Simple and efficient. Scoring takes time indeed, unless you use an app.
Still kept it myself.

Darn just recently bought the original version, would have gone for this if I had realized it existed. Oh well, first world problems and all that.
They didn't market it well that's for sure.

I have not played any of the Remixes but would like to give them a go.
Yeah Paul it also, we both learned it together.
Did the camera died
Why??
I feel like you had more to say
If you mean at the very end, no it's just I had to split the video into 3 parts. Part II airs tonight.
I need to get Canopy! This looks great. Thanks for the review, Luke.
Definitely recommend it!
@@TheBrokenMeeple there is the sleaving gamble if not. Like, will everything fit in the box if I sleave the cards.
Deluxe editions of games with good sleaves packed in is a great idea.
I think so too!
Nice game table Luke. Are you planing to do a review of it ?

Time to get storage for all the Marvel Champions.
The folded space inserts do fine for now but yeah...... Its getting there.
