Spectacular opening for what promises to be an awesome trip. Would of loved to be a fly on the wall when you had the conversation with Tiff about the upgraded trailer. Sound reasoning though, much better for beach launching

Looking forward to your Pilbara exploits. The boat trailer looks very stable and you'll be pleased you can stow ( carry) a bit of gear in it without compromising your axle load and bearings.
The flies still look very friendly. I'm hoping they've disappeared before I head back up that way in early July.

The flies actually weren’t too bad, just that particular spot was a shocker.

Weather gods smiled on me and we got a couple of good trips out in the boat. It’s an amazing stretch of coast- so alive!

I miss going up to Karratha so much. Fishing down south is just never a patch on fishing up north. Used to go every year for three months for a while then the good old government brought in the 28 day limit and screwed up spending winter in the sun. Have never been there since.

I’d have loved to have built one, or repaired the old one. But it just wasn’t doable at the moment! The new one is great, and Tiff will forgive me eventually 🤣
