really liking the tester and skin descriptions. Some frags are notably different on clothes vs skin and the tester gives that difference. Id love if you kept with this approach.
To be fair, I’ve always felt Amouage has always been that house willing to take a bit of a risk. That’s what I sorta like about them. Everything they’ve released is quite unique and relatively likable or lovable even. It’ll take me a bit of time to save up and buy this baby though

Even the name is Blue i never expected from Amouage library collection to do something like classical blue, amouage is my favourite brand and the scents are so complex

To me Amouage is perfection, you know you are getting a quality product with this niche house.
The only fresh oud I know is Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint and I love it. If this similar, I might pick it up.
Sampled King Blue last weekend.. thought it was nice but I keep getting drawn to Rose incense. And royal tobacco. Their range is Amazing.

Much prefer the old box style -- it allows me to store the bottle in the box (away from fragrance-killing light) without taking up too much room on my shelf. I was disappointed with a similar big box presentation when I recently purchased Sultan Vetiver from Nishane. The presentation is great, but takes up too much valuable space on my shelf.
Hey ash love the channel been a great help. Got an idea for a new vid for you if your interested.. I tend to base my fragrance choice around what outfit I'll be wearing I supposed it's closely linked to weather but think it would be fun to do 10 outfits and what would be a suitable fragrance.. Not sure if it's been done before but could always do updates with latest fragrances.. All the best from the UK

King Blue seems like a bit of a misnomer. Maybe something was lost in translation, but I would admittedly be pretty surprised if Amouage put out a traditional blue fragrance…even their own take on a blue would be pretty unconventional I’d imagine, given their catalog. Hope to try this soon.
There are blue oil colors which painters are using that are named as King's Blue or Royal Blue.

Honestly, King Blue is better than Silver Oud. It’s so incredibly badass that if you lightly mist it onto clothing it will continue to smell and transform for days.
Amouage is a unique experience for me. With few exceptions, it's a love or hate with their fragrances. My buddy and I bought a 12X2ml discovery set with another thrown in as a gift. I have Jubilation XXV (top three favorite in my collection) and an 8ml travel size of Reflection Man, which I could see myself buying as well. Those were two of the 13. I really liked a couple others and the rest were, to me, repulsive.
I WILL say, I applaud Amouage. They really go for it and fully embrace trying things outside the norm than most, but I guess in the end it's often too much for my tastes. For me, Xerjoff has WAY more hits than misses and PDM almost the same ratio as Xerjoff.
Hmm, interesting perspective! You can see it either way but for me it's Amouage > PdM > XerJoff. I think Amouage is just pure art, not always something for untrained noses. Even when you think you are a fragrance person, some of their stuff smells bad initially, but after it dries down on skin it's just a different story

Amouage is my top house! Some of their fragrances are super gross on my skin such as Figment, Journey, and Opus VII, but most of the others are solid on me. Favorites are Reflection, Enclave, Lyric, Dia, Beach Hut, and Meander.
I love me some carrot perfume!

Isn't Blue just a name the community gave n not an actual thing?
The die was (arguably) cast by Bleu de Chanel so it stuck. The same is true of many genres that bear names based off of original formulations, like Chypre and Fougere Royale.

Pretty much. It used to be that people called anything that heavily featured Ambroxide and resembled Sauvage/Y EdP/ Bleu de Chanel ‘blue’, but nowadays many people add aquatics like Acqua Di Gio Profondo and Light Blue Intense etc into the mix, and some people seem to call basically anything in a blue bottle or with blue juice a ‘blue’ scent.
I mean I’ve seen people call the new Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EdP a “blue” scent because it’s in a blue bottle despite it being a sweet ambery vanilla scent. I’ve also seen people call LNDL Bleu Electrique a “blue” fragrance just due to the liquid colour despite the fact it smells basically identical to the original and nobody in history has ever called the original a “blue” scent.
So yeh, it’s all a bit vague really. Gotta take it with a pinch of salt. 😂

It's that video editing company he switched to that's in India. They always are doing constant "effects" instead of just letting him talk more naturally like before. I hope he gets rid of them, but I'm not holding my breath.

Okay, I had just sample this King Blue…I know now what he meant by smelling “funky”…I do not like it…its a pass for me. A disappointing experience because of the “Blue” name…rather misleading.😅

I don't think ANY frag ytuber watches their own videos. Loud music (for example, getting blasted by an outro), pointless intros, subscribe beggary, code advertising all run rampant.
the editing is hard to watch. Too many words popping up and often they aren't the actual words you're saying. high beast/hype beast etc,
