The Fox and Rabbit SAL is looking so good, those colors are perfect. And the biscornu is too cute. Also… I rarely grab a book I haven’t heard of at all but definitely would see no blurbs as a bad sign. Hopefully that bad book will make you appreciate the next good ones you read even more 😅
I need to take the extra minute to look up some reviews before these impulse purchases 🤣
Thanks for the video visit! Your 2023 MFE SAL looks absolutely beautiful. I'm tempted by Carolyn Manning patterns but haven't succumbed yet...I see those as more of a needlepoint project, which I love for when I travel. Thanks also for the book reviews. I added a few to my library wish list.
Those Carolyn Manning patterns will get you eventually! 🤣
I'm also stitching the Fox & Rabbit SAL (in a dark green and gold) and I'm almost done with May! The royal garden theme is so beautiful. Your color choice is stunning.
There is so much stitching but it’s stunning! I’m impressed that you are keeping up!
Hi Julie, Your finishes came out so pretty! And the biscornu is adorable. I would love for you to design one. The Celestial chart, I would love it!!! Thank you so much. The new Thirza colors are gorgeous! So are the Barbara Ana ladies! I felt the same way about Carolyn Manning charts until I started Watermelon Tourmaline and really enjoy it. I recently saw someone place a plastic or acrylic stencil over the whole Carolyn Manning chart in the shape of a butterfly. She marked the chart, and only stitched the area of the butterfly. Genius! Love love your book section!! See you next video ❤
Thanks, Stacy! I will message you for your address when I’m ready to do a post office run. I’m LOVING this Carolyn Manning and already contemplating my next one 🤣
I'm glad to see your Andromeda is a POC since in mythology she is a princess of Ethiopia.
I love your conversion for the Roladex Mourning Sampler. I might have to stitch the sampler again with your conversion. It's been a while since I last read Dubliners, but I remember my favorite story was The Boarding House.
Oooooh The Boarding House! With the scheming mother - so juicy!
Love your clips of your exploring of the area. The Fox and Rabbit SAL is going to be absolutely wonderful. I am not tackling this one, but am printing the pattern for another time. I want to finish my Outlander Chatelaine this year and get it framed to be able to enjoy it. Love your Miras and all of sititching is great as always. Sending you many hugs from sunny Arizona.
I would LOVE to get back to my Outlander Chatelaine! 2024 will be the year I can focus on those BIG WIPs since I won’t be trying to get 40 finishes!
The Fox and Rabbit SAL is stunning in those colors!! I too was sucked into the #manningmaysal after seeing all the starts. I also wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it, but I am pleasantly surprised that I am! Thank you for the honest book reviews. Will definitely avoid the last 😅😊
I always enjoy your book reviews. I so agree with your review of Educated. A stunning read. Thank you x
My first time watching your flosstube! Enjoyed seeing all your fabulous stitching wips! Wow is all I can say! Fantastic! Love your progress on your Mira’s and live the skin conversion! I have never done a Mira but have two I plan on starting soon- miss cherry blossom and September sapphire fairy. I have not decided on my color fabric yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I’m kind of intimidated as to where to start. 🤷🏼♀️ I guess I’ll start in the middle. Thank you for sharing! Happy stitching!
Stitching Mirabilias is so addictive! I recommend a site called fabricviewer.com - you can create a free account and then you can select your Mirabilia and see how she will look on TONS of different fabrics and colors. It’s awesome technology and I always use it to make sure my fabric will “work” for the pattern.
@@kansascitygirlinacoloradow4285 thank you- I will see if I can navigate that! 🤣 I’m old
Here’s another ideas for your MFE “gold” color issue: how about tea dying the whole piece when done OR tea dye just the gold floss
That’s a possibility…if I can’t get the fill in to look good, I’ll consider it!
Love your finish and your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
How cool that you were able to meet up with Marissa at Disney!! I love your Miras and can't wait to see how far you get this month!
Loved all the WIPs. I'm not sure if you have read it but you should read The Night and it's Moon by Piper CJ. The second book is out now and the 3rd it coming out this summer.
I totally love The Mourning Sampler!!!
Those Thurza colors are other-worldly. They just look so good. I've never tried Murky but I think I need to?
It is one of my favorites for sure!!! It’s just so moody 😍
Beautiful projects, Julie. Goth Thirza will be amazing.
Your booktalk is my lighthouse in the sea of books. Especially the spicy ones😉 Love and blessings from Russia!❤
I’m so glad! I love talking about them ❤️
Thanks so very much for Sharing ❤ Happy Stitching 🤗
Great flosstube, as always! The Fox and Rabbit SAL looks so good, very tempting😊 Thirsty for the new Thirza😂
Always great to see you. 🌻🌻🌻
Is your conversion available for the Roladex Mourning Sampler? Love your fabric and color choices and would like to use them as a jumping off point. Thanks. :-)
I used some of the called for and some limited edition Colour and Cotton flosses, but I stayed true to the shades that were in the original. It’s the fabric (Picture This Plus Mire) that really makes it look so different!
Thanks for getting back to me. :-)
I would like a Hemlock & Rye Biscornu pls 😊
On it!!!
I always love catching up with you!
❤️❤️❤️

no blurb on the book, definitely a red flag. Also a red flag: Nothing but blurbs, or very little synopsis. One pet peeve of mine is when the synopsis is in one character's pov but the majority of the book is in another's. Hate that!
Like imagine your book is SO BAD that your fellow authors are like don’t put my name on that shit! 🤣
Fabulous WIPs!!
