I can’t wait to stitch her at some point, but I need to finish my Misspelled Sampler first (which I also obsessively love!). And your MFE SAL is looking so good! I literally started it and stitched one corner and gave up. All the straight lines did me in too. I may just stitch one of the tree motifs on its own and forget the rest, lol. Love the book talk as always, I’m adding those two you loved to my TBR list.
Awe love Thirza! Weird - I was going back through my WIPs a week ago (trying to even remember what I have lol) and I saw Thirza and had to stitch on her more! I’m stitching it in the bright color way on a bright mint green, and I just love her! I imagine Thirza was a fun person with lots of different sides to her. Some motifs are perfect in the symmetry, but others it’s like she just picked up whatever color was next to her and stitched with it! Anyway, I am actually stitching her as I am watching this! I found the easiest way to organize my floss with her was to prep all the colors on floss drops like you suggested. Since I am doing 2 over 1 (18ct) the lengths are longer, so I ended up putting them on 3 different rings. I first put the floss in number order, but I was constantly looking through each ring to find the right color!! I changed it to group by color (blues & greens, purples & neutrals, reds & yellow & orange). So much easier to whip through color changes!

I was thinking about your Reaching Skyward stitch and thought that you may as well make that top band full coverage so that it highlights the gold rather than be unhappy with it or pull it all out. Using a contrasting colour from your pallet for the infill perhaps. Love your Halloween Fairy and Peace, Love & Purpose finishes.
Wait a second, that is a BRILLIANT idea!!! It’s slightly more stitching BUT I don’t have to frog anything! This could definitely work because I’m still just not happy about it. Maybe I can do an ombre full coverage background fill? I’m going to play with that in my charting software and see how it looks 😍
