Nice. In north-east Botswana, similar solidarity or collaborative culture exists, called 'mbizi' in the Kalanga language. This collaboration is applied across many projects - clearing farmland, building houses, ploughing, weeding, building kraals, doing certain time consuming tasks in the household and community at large, harvesting, collecting various items like thatch grass etc. The symbols are a way of capturing and transmitting information in the community at large.
