Dimash is so versatile. He can adjust so flawlessly to any type of genra. If you havent' seen and reacted yet to Give Me Your Love from his MOscow Concert , please do. It's a fast song and you'll see a dancing Dimash to the beat of Michael Jackson (his idol). He composed that song. It's so fun and entertaining. He IS cool, but he lets them sing because he actually loves his fans. The term "Dimash dears" was started by him. I heard the story just today. You can see his emotion toward them in Russia singing the autumn song. Also in the official version, he doesn't rap.
This one is a bit of a reimagining from the MV. As far as I understand Idol Hits is supposed to be an opportunity to remix your own songs for the singers in China who take part. Like a challenge I guess, as sometimes it's harder to redo your own song than it is to alter someone else's song for a cover. If you get a chance have a look at the behind the scenes of this show, it shows Dimash and team figuring out how to rework the song and also has some clips of him messing about at the end of the video so you get a better idea of who he is beyond the musician part of his personality and get to see a bit of his goofy side. This may sound weird and is probably totally out of left field but I always saw this song as two things, 1) something his fans could very easily and confidently sing along with him which has always been very important to him (he is always encouraging it at concerts and the sheer joy on his face is very obvious when people start to sing with him) he has also taken a keen interest in fans doing stuff inspired by his work if he happens to see them. And 2) something that may just be totally my imagination and nothing more to it but I always saw this song (the title and the high notes) as a sarcastic response to those who critique him trying to call some of his high notes "screaming". Just the timing of it came out around the time some of the trolls had been particularly active if I remember correctly. But anyway it always makes me smile as I see it as half a song showing he can make beautiful music without any high notes or very low notes and then the second half is the sarcastic response of oh is this what you call screaming well look how well this style of singing fits in this song. Probably not remotely what he was going for but that's what I always took from it. Ha. Mainly because I think that's what I'd have done haha. If you ever get chance to watch another MV of his called Akkuym it's beautiful, looks like a movie and is a gorgeous song with beautiful instruments, if you listen to it pay attention to how the instruments are almost doing a duet with his voice it's beautiful. The live versions are done in a more stripped back way. One of the few songs where I actually prefer the MV song to the live versions, purely due to the arrangements of both vocal and instruments There's also a part where he does a really powerful rock raspy thing in the background on one note as the song crescendos and there's a part where he sings similar to how the woodwind instrument was earlier in the song, I've seen so many people mistake his voice for the instrument until they hear the vibrato sneak in it's stunning. It also reminds me of his white suit Moscow performance of Ascolta la voce/Know which after the first verse has no words and is just vocalisation it's beautiful. I'll try and find some links, sorry for rambling, not slept and in a lot of pain so tend to ramble a bit sorry.
New Song Passione (Very Different to what you've heard from him before I think.) Closer to Ogni Pietra but has a kind of dark edge to it. Lyrics are very linked with performance and it's on his official channel if you put Eng Subs on they'll show up.
There are four new performances from Kazan that are wonderful and the speaker system was good at the event to so his voice is super clear even over the music. If you go to is channel it's the most recent 5. The most recent is Passione, then the 4 before (Olympico, Love of tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde and Where love lies) are all from Kazan and there doesn't seem to be much post production from the TV channel on it either so you get this really awesome sound system blasting his voice and he's made changes to Mademoiselle Hyde and Love of tired Swans that are very lovely. I honestly think vocally it's my favourite version of Mademoiselle Hyde and Love of tired Swans so far. Hope you can have a look even if you don't do a reaction. Would be awesome if you got to watch his concerts at some point too (Bastau (first back home in Kazakhstan full concert post singer), Moscow (March-great band and fantastic back up singers especially the fella) and Arnau (most recent, lots of dramatic production, bigger venue than Moscow so different approach)

Unfortunately, I can’t remember the title. It was released on his Yahoo channel. I have to listen to it a couple of times more, because I actually didn’t know what to think of it. Totally off topic. That fire display at the beginning reminded me a bit of the beautiful lighting of the Cauldron at the Sydney 2000 Olympics 🤩🤩♥️♥️♥️♥️ I will never forget that fire and water display. Onto Dimash. Somehow I kept on missing out on watching Screaming. Dimash can do anything seriously.

Caleb thanks again for your reaction. Yes Dimash do rap not only in his Screaming Idol Hits but there was another one a collaboration with Victor Ma. They feated together in the song Earth Song. Dimash is so versatile. He can adjust so flawlessly to any type of genra. If you havent' seen and reacted yet to Give Me Your Love from his MOscow Concert , please do. It's a fast song and you'll see a dancing Dimash to the beat of Michael Jackson (his idol). He composed that song. It's so fun and entertaining. I know it will be another different thing for you to react from Dimash.

This one is a bit of a reimagining from the MV. As far as I understand Idol Hits is supposed to be an opportunity to remix your own songs for the singers in China who take part. Like a challenge I guess, as sometimes it's harder to redo your own song than it is to alter someone else's song for a cover. If you get a chance have a look at the behind the scenes of this show, it shows Dimash and team figuring out how to rework the song and also has some clips of him messing about at the end of the video so you get a better idea of who he is beyond the musician part of his personality and get to see a bit of his goofy side. This may sound weird and is probably totally out of left field but I always saw this song as two things, 1) something his fans could very easily and confidently sing along with him which has always been very important to him (he is always encouraging it at concerts and the sheer joy on his face is very obvious when people start to sing with him) he has also taken a keen interest in fans doing stuff inspired by his work if he happens to see them. And 2) something that may just be totally my imagination and nothing more to it but I always saw this song (the title and the high notes) as a sarcastic response to those who critique him trying to call some of his high notes "screaming". Just the timing of it came out around the time some of the trolls had been particularly active if I remember correctly. But anyway it always makes me smile as I see it as half a song showing he can make beautiful music without any high notes or very low notes and then the second half is the sarcastic response of oh is this what you call screaming well look how well this style of singing fits in this song. Probably not remotely what he was going for but that's what I always took from it. Ha. Mainly because I think that's what I'd have done haha.
If you ever get chance to watch another MV of his called Akkuym it's beautiful, looks like a movie and is a gorgeous song with beautiful instruments, if you listen to it pay attention to how the instruments are almost doing a duet with his voice it's beautiful. The live versions are done in a more stripped back way. One of the few songs where I actually prefer the MV song to the live versions, purely due to the arrangements of both vocal and instruments
There's also a part where he does a really powerful rock raspy thing in the background on one note as the song crescendos and there's a part where he sings similar to how the woodwind instrument was earlier in the song, I've seen so many people mistake his voice for the instrument until they hear the vibrato sneak in it's stunning. It also reminds me of his white suit Moscow performance of Ascolta la voce/Know which after the first verse has no words and is just vocalisation it's beautiful. I'll try and find some links, sorry for rambling, not slept and in a lot of pain so tend to ramble a bit sorry.

New Song Passione (Very Different to what you've heard from him before I think.) Closer to Ogni Pietra but has a kind of dark edge to it. Lyrics are very linked with performance and it's on his official channel if you put Eng Subs on they'll show up.
There are four new performances from Kazan that are wonderful and the speaker system was good at the event to so his voice is super clear even over the music. If you go to is channel it's the most recent 5. The most recent is Passione, then the 4 before (Olympico, Love of tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde and Where love lies) are all from Kazan and there doesn't seem to be much post production from the TV channel on it either so you get this really awesome sound system blasting his voice and he's made changes to Mademoiselle Hyde and Love of tired Swans that are very lovely. I honestly think vocally it's my favourite version of Mademoiselle Hyde and Love of tired Swans so far. Hope you can have a look even if you don't do a reaction. Would be awesome if you got to watch his concerts at some point too (Bastau (first back home in Kazakhstan full concert post singer), Moscow (March-great band and fantastic back up singers especially the fella) and Arnau (most recent, lots of dramatic production, bigger venue than Moscow so different approach)
