The Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros and Apple AirPods 3’s are fanatic pairs of truly wireless earbuds but which should you buy? Each have their own unique strengths from the Airpods 3’s effortless pairing and design to the Liberty 3 pro’s customisable sound and ANC. I have done long term testing and will be vs comparing them to help you decide which earbuds are right for you! Liberty 3 Pro price $169. Airpods 3 price $179. Earbuds and fit. Liberty 3 Pro. Rounded futuristic design. Slightly larger, but comparable to other ANC earbuds (Sony XM4). Glossy finish, metal touches by ear tips and multitouch controls. In-ear design. AirPods 3. Design hybrid between regular AirPods and AirPods Pro. Clean glossy white design. Smaller compared to the Liberty 3 Pro. Sweat resistant like the Liberty 3 Pro. One size fits all, works for me but not for all. Smaller lighter design, feels effortless and comfortable in the ear. Charging case. Liberty 3 Pro, matte black with satisfying sliding lid. USB C on back and wireless charge. Battery life 8hrs on earbuds, 32hrs total with case. AirPods 3, glossy white. Lighting port and wireless charge. Battery life 6hrs on earbuds, 30hrs total with case. I prefer the smaller Airpods’ case. Let’s talk about what matters most and that is sound quality! Liberty 3 Pro’s. Sound quality is very impressive! V shaped sound profile, emphasises highs and lows. Highs are crystal clear. Very powerful thumping bass. Mids could be more present but can be fixed in the app. Liberty 3 Pro’s have exciting sound that creates for an enjoyable listing experience. AirPods 3’s. Big step up from regular AirPods, sound similar to more expensive AirPods Pros, they too sound very good! Detail rich, hear all the nuances in vocal and instruments. Slightly more natural sound not as vibrant compared to the Liberty 3 Pro’s. Compared to the Liberty 3 Pros the Airpods 3’s are more detail rich. Both the Liberty 3 Pro’s and the Airpods 3’s take the audio experience even further with extra features. Liberty 3 Pro’s. My favourite feature ANC! When on, ANC effectively blocks out consistent lower frequency noise, train track noise, car or plane engine. The sound can be fine tuned via the excellent accompanying app, sound presents and adjust EQ. AirPods 3. Spacial Audio, Apple’s immersive audio experience also in AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. This tracks where your iPhone or iPad to create an immersive experience and sounds incredible. Seamless integration, arguably the best feature AirPods offer. Seamlessly switch between your apple devices in the background depending on which one you are using. Which is for who? If you travel often and want to block out background noise to focus on your music and be able to fine tune the vibrant and exciting sound profile to your taste than the Liberty 3 Pro’s are the earbuds for you. On the other hand, if you are in the Apple ecosystem and want something that just works with slightly more natural sound and don’t want to think about adjusting the sound profile and instead want a pair of earbuds that can seamlessly connect and switch between your devices, go for the AirPods 3’s. If I had to choose one, both a truly excellent, but for me as an Apple user, the effortless integration gives edge to the AirPods 3 Pro’s.

cycling. Important feature on the soundcore that weren't mentioned is the transparency mode. The anc is very good but I didnt want to drop the money on headphones I couldn't use while running or cycling. Usually I just use a looser fitting set of earbuds for that. Soundcore allows you to turn off and and switch to transparency mode just by touching an earbud for 2 seconds. And the transparency mode allows you to hear traffic even better than non noise canceling not in ear buds like airpods.

Soundcore L3Ps are good and all no doubt based on the many reviews (sponsored, free review units, or genuine /critique ones) I've stumbled upon as well as trying them out in person (even comparing them side by side with the Sony XM4s). The main problem I am concerned with L3Ps are (1) quality control/reliability (2) connection stability in both AAC/LDAC (3) true battery life (not what's advertised)
Have you had chance to use the L3Ps for prolonged periods of time?

I've been using them exclusively in lcad mode and never had an issue with them disconnecting. But I tend to have my phone on me. When i do walk away from my phone, it's still in the same room but nvr had an issue and still in lcad.

You talk about that you are inside the apples ecosystem so you choose earpods, you can explain what benefits there are for an iphone user. I use the iphone myself but the only thing I know off is that they are "a little" easier to connect to the phone the first time, but after that?

Hi MKA, that is a good question. The biggest benefit of using the AirPods with the Iphone is, as you mention, the instant connection. In addition the advantage of the AirPods is that it will instantly and in the background switch to any Apple device you are using, unless any other wireless EarPods

@@DionMedia I am about to get the Liberty 3 pro's and despite I understand that they support AAC, which is Apple's bluetooth codec, I just wanted to make sure, since I currently have an iphone 7. Would there be any problem with the connection?
Very nice comparison btw! Well done!
