18:10 Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Portal was surprised to learn that he is the Primate of all England and metropolitan.
welby
Hahahaha 😂
The UK Prime Minister just lost the election. This is going to cause some serious ripples in the economy.
No kidding. The pound is probably going to take a hit, and stock prices might get even more volatile.
And with all this instability, businesses will be hesitant to make any big moves. It's going to affect everything from employment to consumer confidence.
The AI bots all working together. How cute
Exactly! Thats why it's more important than ever to have a solid financial strategy
@@AngelaVest What?
All in together now
Isn't it suffocating to seat that many persons in such a small room. 😢
???? It’s a massive room have you been?
@@onemomenttohislifespan No , but it's clearly adequate for 300 to 400. Not 650.
@@SB_2000PRCO it’s the opening of a new government, not all those people are going to be there naturally every session it’s the body of Westminster not just MPS
@@onemomenttohislifespan Ah. Thanks for clarification. 🤝
@erminedereims400 I did Aug 2010 yea they dont realise it's size.
After 14 years, it's finally happened.
It’s weird seeing rishi at the opposition box… weird but absolutely a better place. It’s quite refreshing the tories no longer have their grubby hands in the governmental pie
So now Labour have their grubby hands in the governments pie.
They have different names but on the important things there is no difference.
Easy to say when your based uk are you if you were uk based you would be very worried indeed 😂
@@nowgrownup I’m from the uk… very happy the tories are out

Hope so. Those heckles were distinctly British
Starmer seems more interested in being a Red Tory than anything, so watch somebody does do so, then gets a dramatic spanking for it
Nobody. They belonged exclusively to Dennis the Dinosaur, whom is now extinct in the Commons. ;)
@andyshepard4309 he's been pretty left so far actually *in* office. I'm loving it
@andyshepard4309 hes always been like darcy.. rayner next to him looked fed up
Nigel is new Dennis
And people think Westminster is detached from the electorate. With this stuffy antiquated living period drama, I can't imagine why...
The clerk knows how to pronounce 'patent'.
Is there footage of Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner getting sworn in? Did Keir Starmer get sworn in like the others?
Yes they did at the start of the swearing in
@@veggie42 Thanks! I looked for the footage and found it. Thanks for confirming 😊

I didn’t see him being sworn in
Me neither .. and was looking for it.
wdym sworn in? he starts speaking at 56:10 if that's what you mean
only the government party and the opposition sworn in in the broadcast the other mps will do it later
If you listen to what speaker Hoyle said, MPs who were elected on Thursday for the first time will be sworn in the following day

🤔Corbyn se vino a hacer lo que se llama campaña electoral a favor del presidente Lopez en 2018. Se le pidió de favor que se abstuviera y nos ignoro. 18:50 through to 18:55ish - in what is perhaps the first instance of this phenomenon ever being recorded on camera, *TONY BENN* returns from eternal peace to make a brief cameo appearance in the House of Lords; evidently, the next life really is a kind one, because he looks to be in much better health now than when he died ten years ago! What? Of course it's him, do you think I was born yesterday?!
What are you talking about? That's John McFall, the Speaker of the House of lords
No he looks like him😂
archaic nonsense. They should be swearing an Oath to submit to accountability for each and every action they take was elected officials, and accept a prison sentence for any abuse of power, effectively committing themselves to due punishment.

I am truly glad the MP Nigel Farage and Reform UK is in the House! He and Reform will bting back common sense in the British Parliament, just what Nigel did at the European Parliament! 💛🧡💚
Farage was on committees in the European Parliament, e.g. fisheries, where he could have exerted an influence for British voters and he never used to bother turning up. All clowning around and attention seeking and no actual work.
@@BobSmith-s7jsounds more like the labour party...Up to now all I have herd is name blaming and exuses Farage did get Brexit that is one heel of a achievement plus he was only campaigning a few weeks and got over 4 million votes and 6 seats what have achieved in life 😂😂😂😂😂

Flip me, 64 LBGTQ+ MPs. Thats an overrepresentation of 230% more than proper representation of the populace. I hope Labour can keep a hold on these massive overcorrections in Religious, Gender, Sexuality favoritism. They have proven to be incredible destructive for British Culture so far.
They put a lot of emphasis on there being a lot of women MPs in there, what really matters is how well they do the job
LGBTQ is in no way destructive to our culture my friend. You must open your eyes and understand that people can love whoever they want without it hurting others. It is apart of our culture
@@MichaelGeorge161 Very true, thats why I hope Labour can focus on the important governance and not all this religious, gender blah blah blah. We have an economic crisis and energy crisis and a Population crisis to address.
@@Louis-sn6pj It is if its being prioritised over the quality of their ability. The most skilled and qualified should be in parliament, not the most diverse.
I wonder if you ran a correlation between likelihood to stand for Parliament and not having kids and used that as a control variable, if the statistical significance of that would disappear. Perhaps the real story there is it's time to have better public support for child care.
singlendhot8628 indeed the worst outcome of this election was for the Labour Party to return to power.
🤣🤣Except for the Tories, Reform or anyone else winning of course.
No PR and we are going to pay the price
