Nah they should be better there’s gamecube games that look better than this game but it’s most wii games I’m pretty sure it’s something with the art or animation they change in wii but gamecube looks better for some reason
@@ijustbevibin0425 Any video game system meant to be played and rendered on CRT's is going to look blurry on modern monitors. The Wii had "hd" support however it was mostly designed for playing on CRT tv's.
@@ijustbevibin0425 the reason why the wii looks so blurry is because of 2 reasons, the normal av cables that come with the wii are absolutely terrible, and the second reason is because of the deflicker filter which was only supposed to activate on crts to prevent flickering, but nintendo made a mistake and its always on. you can use homebrew to disable the deflicker filter and it looks way sharper.
I had only a Wii until 2011 and wanted to play skate so bad for years but I still could never settle for this lol. I just played Proving Ground on Wii instead. Not a great skate game experience either way tbh
I was very late to the ps3 and 360 gen consoles. I loved skate but never had a console to play it so once this came out I played it so much, never went back once I got a ps3 with skate 1 and 2

If someone could port this to PC and make it playable with normal skate controls that would be insane. Like the animations are identical to OG Skate, it just has ridiculously downscaled graphics. Like it looks like THPS 3, which is pretty rough considering this came out about 10 years afterwards. Man Wii was a dumb console.

i played the campaign of this on a hacked wii, it was a very bizarre kind of tortured version of skate but i got pretty into it
the sounds in this game still sound better than the vanilla skater xl sounds lmfao
