I have escaped the skate 2 map recently in 2023 on the ps3 emulated version, just never recorded it, it's near the pool in the top left corner of the map where the waterfront and some skate 1 spots are, but you go all the way to that side and no-comply glitch over the buildings that stop having collision at some height, then you can safely jump down onto the grass below.

I swear I’ve also done the switch hands handplant glitch. Sounds very familiar. You just made me want to launch Skate 2 for the first time in literal years lol.
The more I think about it. It's probably a prepatch glitch switching stance mid hand plant. I tried to do it before but nothing happened since I was playing on patch.
switching hands on handplant is definitely a glitch I remember.. it's no surprise you can't find a lot of old Skate 2 content though as RUclips's search algorithm has changed in a way that makes it very hard to find videos from that time period with low view counts.

No you missed the crazy legs glitch! That’s the best! You drop your board, turn 90 degrees then jump spin and summon your board where you’ll sink into the ground and be absolutely launched further than any other bail glitches.

Greatest game ever made. I will not argue. Btw the 360 reverts were actually put in the game intentionally a dev confirmed this a long time ago.
Nah 3 is better in nearly every single way. Supports both realistic and arcade skating insanely incredibly well and much better than any other skateboarding game ever made. Skate 2 is clunky for no reason and has a mediocre downhill map.
Yeah Skate 2 was infinitely better than 3, I will take 2 over 3 any day easily
Skate 2 has a more fun hall of meat, actual chance for realism, and it has an alive city with locations you can travel to without needing fast travel. Skate 3 is completely mediocre when compared to what Skate 2 is
@@derpderpin1568 I’ll agree skate 3 plays better but gameplay isn’t everything okay. The map is infinitely better than skate 3s empty map with no detail. It’s well known s3 was rushed that’s why a lot of the map feels like it has no character. Let’s not forget the map is separated into 3 different parts so you can’t even skate from the top to the bottom of the map. The hall of meats is 10x better and there’s actually money in the game unlike skate 3s dumb board sale mechanic. Also you can play as Big Black who bounces when he falls.

Another glitch (well, kinda) I remember is the invisible car glitch. Randomly cars will not have textures spawning in, but still be cars. Saw it in a ways to bail video as a kid, and had it happen a few times playing on 360, but oddly never on PS3.

you might be able to do the handplant glitch by doing it, pausing, and then switching stance in the customization menu and coming back to the game

Call me crazy, but the glitches made the games even more fun. The crazy leg glitch was literally half of my game play. They need a skate 2 remastered with all the glitches kept untouched

Well that's because you playing on PC. My Xbox 360 don't do that at all. I play all the time

There's also a way to change your head skin color from the rest of your body, there's a tutorial somewhere on ye olde RUclips
Some other things I wanted to add for Kush Pops because I am a sperg when it comes to this game:
If you frontside revert when you kush pop you will go a longer distance, while if you backside you'll go higher. Kickflips are the flips that give you the most oomph whether backside or frontside.
You can also do a revert pop anywhere on flat ground by reverting out of a manual and doing a Hardflip. 360 Hardflips will give you more pop, and the lower you hold your manual will determine how high your pop goes as well.
Loving these videos man! I'm gonna have to jump back on and go for some dumb hippy flip clips soon.
