I disagree. I don’t see a country with a group of people who have the same goals. I see a group of people who honor the constitution and recognize that this is a Republic. I see a second group of people who act as if our constitutional rights don’t exist and walk around saying the United States is a democracy which it isn’t.
First point, the US is a Constitutional Democratic Republic. Or as the words of the actual Constitution says it, a "representative" Republic. So both comment of the type of government are technically true.
Second point, the ones that I see today, that most ignore or intentionally violate the US Constitution are Republicans (which I am sorry to see, as I have always been a Republican), and specifically the MAGA politicians. And YES, is includes Donald Trump!

@@alandueck210 He made gas under $2.00 a gallon for most of the country. He kept inflation low. Grocery's were much lower than they are now. He never tried pitting one group against another. Unemployment was very low. Just because some people flat out hate him (most likely because of something that is their problem), does not mean Trump ever did anything to divide the country.
Bottom line! Trump did not have a full SS protection usually given to candidates and esp a former President!
