I always thought it was funny that people say something about an accent. Especially when you speak more than one language. The people who complain can barely speak one language. Your English is great. Tell the trolls to go back under their bridges.
I have a 2015 MKZ Hybrid, and I often get OVER 40 MPG in the city where I do most my driving. It’s NOT always just about horsepower. Quality and fuel economy are sexy too!!
The hybrid has a whole lot of power I think and it's smooth. I admit I was driving I-80 with wife and friends not paying attention to my speed.. I was doing over 100mph w/o realizing it for a long way and still was getting low 30's mpg.. Pretty darn impressive..
I test drove many vehicles. When it came down to it I liked the interior, ride and comfort better in the MKZ. For $55k it is hard to find a creamy smooth 400HP engine. With a few key features i.e. 400HP V6, AWD & driver’s package, other midsized luxury vehicles felt inferior. As if the Lincoln had a higher-end quality interior and better total package. The seats are very well thought out & comfortable. Leather & padded surfaces feel soft and supple. It’s as if the Lincoln brand is trying harder since they have to thwart off the sport of American brand bashing that is constantly read in publications such as Consumer Reports. Furthermore the Drivers Package adds AWD w/dynamic torque vectoring which intelligently applies power to the rear wheels when driving aggressively. With the package torque steer under normal driving is gone along with much of the understeer typically associated with FWD and some AWD vehicles. In my opinion road isolation & ride are better in the Lincoln than say a Caddy, Mercedes or BMW. Cornering Gs is extremely ample with the all-weather 19” tires standard with the driver’s package. I would not opt for the summer only tires which hurt the ride. So if there is some impact from having AWD vs RWD it will most likely only be noticed at the track or with very aggressive drivers. Yes when you apply the full 400HP most torque goes to the rear but even the 30-40% going to the front can cause a slight pull. It’s nice they provide a per wheel instantaneous power read out so you know the rear wheels do their share intelligently (when you stomp on the accelerator). That said 99.999999% of the audience buying these vehicles today are not going to the race track and won’t notice the cons and most likely will appreciate the pros to this AWD setup. Drivers looking for a stable good grip on a variety of road conditions along with easy control and a sure footed steering feel will appreciate the Lincoln because it delivers. The MKZ is rock solid on the highway in cross winds on washboard pavement, etc. It doesn’t wobble across highway crowns because it’s a high performance sedan. That’s what the average Joe wants. The AWD with torque vectoring does its job and keeps torque steer under control and steering feel is precise; easy to thread the car through a needle. It is snow worthy to boot. BTW, I am not an ignorant just looking to be the expert and to hear myself speak. I know the difference between the Lincoln and a true sport sedan and opted for the Lincoln. My other vehicles are; a Corvette, Pontiac G8 GT (RWD 6 liter), F150 and Road Glide. The only cons besides the Lincoln name: scant rear head room, smaller rear seat than some, and weight distribution with AWD (not 50-50% front and rear like a RWD sedan). One more comment. Consumer Reports issue with the push button gear selector is really a joke. Anyone that is off the baby bottle will not mind the change. I actually think it makes a lot of sense to free up the console. Hope other brands do the same. A common solution amongst brands through committee would be best.
Mr Pushrod You are precisely right. I am looking to buy a car, my partner owns the 2016 hybrid, and she loves it. I like it. Almost all owners of this car won't take it to a race track and that is true. I cruise it alot on highway taking trips of at least 200miles minimum and it delivers performance for even the 188hp hybrid. I may not get this v6, except they give me the same instrument cluster as the one in the hybrid. I am totally okay with the hybrid version. As for the gear buttons, i think alot of people are still on the baby bottles. I love the freed up space on the center console, makes it looks luxurious as it is. Am not going to lie, i found MKZ much more satisfying, for the price, looks, luxury and performance than BM 3 series, Benz CLA and C Class. I myself will be getting the 2018 Hybrid, i don't care if the wife already have a MKZ hybrid. I just want mine too 😀
@@emmijames358 My wife and I have MKZ hybrid's too. I've had mine longer and we both love our cars. In fact my wife steals mine on slicker days because she doesn't want to wreck her car if something happens!! Grr!! lol!
I bought a 2015 MKZ Hybrid with 8k miles on it in 2016. Love it. Very comfortable and I get 36+ mpg with it. It has more than enough power than I need. I bring it in for oil changes and take a loaner from Lincoln when I do. They always give me the newest one, which is usually the 2.0T. The 2.0T is much faster than my Hybrid though If I wanted a fast car I wouldn't have bought a Lincoln. Its always nice to drive something new, but I'm happy to get my car back when I return it. Its a wonderful car, but I cant justify trading my 2015 in on the new model year. There just arent enough changes from the 2015 model year that have me sold on a new one yet.. Save yourself some $$ and find a nice, certified used low mileage 2015 and enjoy it for many years.
I have a 2017 MKZ 3.0 (I think) and I am not happy with the road noise. My 1994 has absolutely no road noise. What can I do to get rid of the noise. Otherwise I love the 2017.
Great review!! Even better time to pick one up 4-5yrs later. Plenty of low mileage, accident free ones out there at great prices! Everyone doesn’t want an SUV!! Lucky. It's been hell trying to find one near by me. Can't find one anywhere. Especially can't find one with that panoramic moonroof, which I actually like, and in white. Reserve or Reserve II trim level. No luck with black label either.

I recently bought a 2017 certified MKZ and in less than a week, the auto mirrors failed to work. I can operate them manually but that is not what one expects with a newly purchased certified car. Also, the interior fuse box is impossible to get to unless I'm missing something that would allow easier access. I was going to replace the fuses for the mirrors but couldn't get to the fuses. I tried the mirror auto button on setting but it goes back to manual or auto off setting. All in all, it is smooth, powerful and comfortable car.
The big issue with this car is the rear, it looks outdated. Lincoln just whacked a new grill on it, they should have changed the rear also. Get the 3liter AWD and with a tune you can get this car to be pretty fast.
I love the styling on the back from day one, it was the front that was too strange looking and would be out of style as fast as it was in style. The new front end is classic and fits well with the clean fastback style rear now.
More graceful lines on the exterior and interior, and the interior looks nicer in my opinion especially if you get the Reserve II for the 19 and 20 model year, or Black Label for 17 or 18. I have been in an MKZ before but not a Genesis.
Had one for two years. Sold it even up for a RAV 4 Hybrid. Why? No fog lights, low beams looked too much like high beams and I kept getting flashed. Too low to the ground and would snow plow a snow bank in front of itself with the air dam. Ate gas far faster than I was willing to accept. Besides, it was a mistake to go back to a "car" when a SUV is far more usable in most situations.

So you better just choose which one you are able to live with. And expect at some point that like anything that has moving parts, you will have to fix it.
Which one is better?
Lincoln MKZ 2018 or Chevrolet Camaro 2019
Mkz 3.0t awd
The Camaro ss has more hp and a much lighter frame. The frame is also the best out currently for handling. Besides those things, Ford is more reliable than Chevy. Also, the Chevy has more hp but is not turbo. Turbo do put a lot of strain on engines. We will see in the longrun
not sure why anyone can't understand what he's saying, maybe they need to learn English themselves.
Maybe they just check our first video that we did a long time ago :P

I'm simply surprised why the French cannot pronounce their "h's". I like these reviews. More please.
Samiam 666 :: simply because they are french,, and by the way he’s from Quebec, and for us to speak English, yes we have an accent, we are Frenglish my Man.. but you can’t compare a frenchy from Quebec to one from France ,, Just like you guys from USA and the British...
love the accent.
Good Review
I like it
Black Label 3.0t AWD. Better than most.
Thanks
Is it really worth it to buy this? What about the boot space?
boot space? leg space?
CarQuestion he means in the trunk...How much trunk space does the car have
Trunk or boot space is fine this as long as you have the twin turbo 6 cylinder. Unfortunately the hybrid suffers a little bit in this department as they've put the battery back there. I know this because I have a 2013 MKZ. Other than this I love the vehicle. 40 mpg too.
David Gilbertson Can you fit a body in it?
You did amazing sweetie 💖.
Exterior design is fantastic; interior design is old and has a plastic feel.
Hard to follow monotone English accent but overall nice review
Nice Audi A4 or rather S4. I would call it RS4 if it had a V8. It is similar but it has it's own style. The only thing I would see is turbo of a V8 instead of V6. Well they could be both!
Lincoln did a horrible job by upgrading the front fascia... Older models look a lot way better..
I agree 100%
got a 2016 they are junk
I would understand better if he spoke French. And I don't speak French.
glad you said that! Cause I have a french version of that review just for you! :) feel free to watch: ruclips.net/video/DoKr0ssz5jo/видео.html
+CarQuestion ..think he was being a bit facetious.
It is said if your nation have no their own language. Canadian has to speak French. American speaks English. It's American English but still English, not American language. LOL just trolling xD
TheArfdog lmfao
Arfdog I suggest you to take a French course then. People who don't speak French, can't understand French, unless your circuitry is damaged. Go get checked if that's the case
include subtitles please can't understand ur English
Try the french version
Fernando Mendoza ur?, you mean your ...the irony..
LOL
I JUST NEVER LIKED THAT MODEL OR THE NAVIGATOR
TONY JENKINS You need to spend time with it first. Am not talking a day or 2. Spend a week with it, drive it to Vegas or any urban aside where you live. I love the hybrid.
POS car.
though I disagree.I like short and to the point comments.hehe
You probably can’t afford it anyway.
Says a guy who can't afford one
You probably live with your mother and have a bus pass..that she payed for.
