There’s no need to be scared, it is pretty painful for a majority of people but you could be one of those lucky girls who don’t get as much pain or even none at all

I find the best period product that works for me, is period underwear. I find it easy and comfortable. But if let’s say i had a heavy flow and had to change a bit more often and then all of mine were not clean, then I would use a sanitary pad. If i’m swimming I prefer period swimsuits over a tampon or smth bc I don’t feel comfortable with smth going inside my body like that.

It’s been close to a year since I first got mine at 13 in October (it stopped b4 Halloween)
another tip!(btw this could be false): Eat dark chocolate, whenever I'm on my period I eat Dark chocolate since it helps me feel better and happier, It might not work for you but it works for me.
My sister never had any pain or at least she didn't show any on her period. I always wonder how? You can barely tell if she's on her period. Also something that works for me in preventing cramps is not eating cold foods like ice cream or anything straight out of the fridge. I see a lot of ppl eating ice cream on their periods, but for me it just makes it more painful.

5:40 - Even though we're supposed to avoid sharing our menstrual products, I'm always happy to have someone to share their pad with in an emergency, like if I don't have one with me. Or vice versa, if someone else doesn't have one and I can be their helping hand.

Congrats like the video says you mays have cramps but you also might not I do tho I recommend getting and heating pad you can put in the microwave if you do I knew when mine was coming the night it came cause of things that was happening and I was so happy but a little confused about when to change everything but it is the same for pads change it ever four to eight hours a few brands I recommend is August or breize but I have not tried august I hope you know when your period is about to start it’s good to know so you can put a pad on so you mess up your clothes cause it has happened to me before good luck girl

And also if you want to a few people do this I heard it’s called free bleeding and it’s basically where you put a towel under you or a menstrual towel from Amazon or Temu and just not where pad or anything but I just can’t stand the thought of doing it it just freaks me out
