Ok just saying, that backdrop looks incredible with your skin. The cool tone of the backdrop accentuates the warm tones in your hair and skin and makes your eyes POP. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION
I just want to say your normal pale winter skin is beautiful too (with no self tan). Also there's always bronzer lol. :P
I'm the same pale shade (Armani 3) as Allana all year round, and I love it. I never tan, mainly because I don't like the sun, and I can't be bothered with all the fake stuff. Pale and interesting, as the saying goes 😊.
As an extremely pale person who use to self tanner and try to tan! I agree that accepting your natural look and enhancing with a little bronzer is the best!
Love your content. Would be fun to see the makeup you used on firsts. Like first day of being a full time content creator, or on your first date with Dan. Or maybe makeup your mom wore in the 80's . Thank you for putting so much attention to details and congrats on the ongoing success!
My fave way to use the Glossier FD is to mix it with basically any foundation! 😍 I feel like it just gives any base the most perfect glow, and then it just sits so well on the skin allll day. Every time I don’t use it with my base, eventually I’m like “this would’ve looked so much better with futuredew” lol

I hated the futuredew at first but then I tried to mix it in with a medium/light coverage foundation. i find that mixing just a little bit with almost any foundation turns it into the most smooth, hydrating, glowy concoction that doesn't sink into lines or cling to dry patches :)
I love how this turned out, it's such a sophisticated makeup look

The Armani cushion is SO good. One of my all time faves. It’s not discontinued it just is hard to find in North America 🥲🥲🥲

The Armani foundation that was discontinued is the “essence in balm” one I think - that comes in a blue compact. The red one is the “to go” compact. It’s also Karima McKimmie’s fave foundation. If you search for the “to go” one you should be able to find it. Hopefully

Once I mixed Glossier Future Dew with some drops of liquid foundation pigment and I ended up creating my own Mac Face & Body dupe. It was a glorious morning ✨

The Balm Mary Loumanizer is 👍👍👍 I rarely use mine b/c I can't find it anywhere now. I still use ABH brow whiz...still a fave. This video just reminded of The Lorac eyeshadow palette...a fave as well.

I’ve tried a few foundations that just look too dry on me but if I mix in some Future Dew it normally fixes the problem and the foundation will work much better for me.

The ABH brow routine is literally my every day routine! I just use the shade Taupe instead! It’s honestly the only combo that works for me!

I have so many of these older products that I have not used in so long. Allana you have inspired me to dig them out and use them again. Beautiful Allana.
Still use both finishes of Tarte Park Avenue Princess bronzer, the glow one I now add just a touch on over my Vieve bronzer or over CT contour wand. I like it as a quick something on my eyes too, it’s a perfect colour and isn’t flat.
Love future dew I put it all over my face as primer it makes my makeup look so natural and skin-like.
Oh my god, when you pulled out the tarte bronzer that brought me back! I think years ago I found you on YT in my wild hunt for foundation for sensitive skin. I ended up buying my first Sephora foundation bc of it, which was Tarte Under the Sea something or other and that bronzer! Now its not so hard to find fragrance free foundations. Hot damn that brought me back in time!

Love throwback videos like this!❤️ I remember watching that Chole Morello video as well, I thought (still think) the makeup look is so elegant, wearable and nice! It made young me realize that smokey eyes didn't need to be really dark and have lots of shadow under the eyes, it could look simple and be quick to do 😍❤️

I’ve changed out my makeup favorites through the years but the only products I’ve continued to use since I started getting into makeup years ago has been the Anastasia brown definer (medium brown) and clear brow gel. Nothing else beats that duo in my opinion. The shade is perfection (not too warm toned like so many others that I’ve tried) and the hold on that gel is my perfect amount of hold bc you can brush them out without having flakes left over but they keep my brows held up all day.
You should try the Sisley gel bronzer. It gives the most amazing glow to the skin. Not a lot of pigment. If I want more I just use a normal bronzer and then put it on top. But it’s just gives that dewy look but is a powder so your makeup won’t actually transfer or move like dewy stuff sometimes does.
I still use the ABH brow wiz and still think it’s the best, the benefit one is too pigmented which hard to control for a quick daily makeup. Try the shape taupe, it’s lighter and more neutral
We had a flood so we had to pack everything up last May so I went through some of the containers yesterday and it was like shopping at Sephora lol… I was like huh I forgot I had that! 😅🤦♀️
And I’m the opposite of you, I have only tanned once in my life… I always live the pale life 😂

I still use some of these products today! Especially MAC paint pots (Indianwood with Woodwinked e/s is the shit) and ABH Brow Wiz. Can’t forget the OGs like MAC MSF Natural too. I remember the Daniel Sandler blushes…they were so hard to find. This is so nostalgic, going back to the guru days. Thanks for this video. I miss a good ole tutorial using makeup products that we have grown up with.
I only use creamy products on my face now. I went to Knockout Beauty and Cayli, the owner of the business, recommended that I make the switch. She was so right!

Honestly, why we dib dabble in makeup products? It begs the question. This is so immaculate, you could do it again when you're 80 and still get such a great outcome. Perfected and enhanced, but totally you. I too have a look like this suggested by Lisa Eldridge circa 8 years ago. I think aimed for Prom, inspired by a Keira Knightley look. Did it for a cousin's wedding, and every time I see the pictures I think it was the best makeup combination I ever put on my face.
I remember the days when you used SO much bronzer. You had really brown cheeks. This is such a step away from that and I don’t think you do that anymore if I recall correctly. Very pretty! 💚

Sulwahsoo and Amore Pacific both had similar, beautiful cushion foundations (although VERY limited shades). I think Shiseido, Laneige, and L’Oreal still make them.

I have combination oily skin and I LOVE future dew! I wear it all over and skip foundation (conceal if necessary) and everyone says how amazing my skin looks when I do!

The Brow wiz in Taupe followed by the Tom Ford fiber brow gel (RIP. I’m trying to conserve what I have left). When I’m not using TF I use the Em cosmetics Brow cream and the final step of the Benefit brow setter It’s a tried and true routine that I don’t stray too far away from ❤️
Some shades of the TF Fiber Brow Gel restocked on Sephora and Beautylish recently. Not sure if they’re still in stock but I picked up a backup when I saw my shade finally come back!
