About 50 years ago 😮 my Mom was a couture seamstress and I’d visit her at the shop after school and days off and play with the beautiful clothes GAH! She learned to sew during WW11 in Greece and she taught me at young age. I so appreciate that skill that was taught to me. 🥰♥️

Congratulations Allana!!!🥳👑 I have wavy/curly hair and what I do to style it is: once I wash it and get out if the shower, I squeeze excess water out with my hands not a towel, I proceed to apply products of choice throughout it and lastly some hair oil, next I flip my hair over and plop it with a cotton T shirt. Most times After I plop and scruch it I will wrap that t shirt around my head for a while about 20-30 minutes holding my hair plopped and this helps so much reducing frizz and holding my waves and curls 🤍 I definitely see a difference in the outcome when I do this step and don’t, hope this helps you in some way! My new favorite products are the kerastase line for curly hair 🤍

LAN. MY WAVY HAIR ROUTINE:
so I follow the “curly girl method” where I wash without sulfates and such, and I have great results!
My routine: wash with “deva curl” cowash and conditioner.
Comb with wide tooth comb WITH conditioner in, and establish my part.
Rinse, and do not comb again, this breaks up wave formation.
Scrunch out water in towel.
Scrunch in “wave maker” by deva curl.
Diffuse.

WAVY GAL HERE! When your hair is soaking wet, scrunch in a curl cream, followed by gel or mousse (I do this upside down). Then take a microfiber towel or a t shirt and scrunch with that before plopping (put all your hair in the t shirt and tie it up for a few minutes). When you take it down, diffuse until a cast forms. Put a claw clip in at the roots to encourage volume while it air dries the rest of the way. Then scrunch out the crunch and enjoy!

Try the Denman brush, there are tons of tutorials and it took my waves to curls (which I always had but went through my teenage-I-hate-my-curls phase and lost most of them) and now I have naturally curlier hair 🥰

I am a wavy/curly gal and I will either use pure coconut oil and scrunch it in my air or Not Your Mothers Curl cream. Then I just diffuse.
Or if I’m feeling lazy I let it air dry.

For my naturally wavy hair, oil (fake blonde necessity moment) and a soft gel are a must! Because my hair is fine I have to have my hair *soaking* wet when I begin the routine and scrunch the products realllllll good and long before I go in and diffuse. A simple routine but for me simple is better!

get the dae styling cream ! i love all dae hair stuff but the styling cream is great for curling plus you can use it to slick your hair back instead of gel its so good.
Wavy hair here- silk is a game changer for me- silk pillow case, silk bonnet. Also I actually found less product works best for me- shampoo, deep conditioner and then air dry with a little Bumble and Bumble beach wave spray- after it’s fully dry I can add some oil to the ends for hydration

As a person with wavy/curly hair, I'm sorry to tell you that the best way to maintain them so they survive the night is to wear a satin bonnet to bed. You can try a 'pineapple' ponytail on the top of your hair, but nothing works like the bonnet - the least sexy bedtime attire but the best way to protect your baby waves.

@@_inflection3209 I bought mine from my hairdresser here in London, so U don't have a brand to recommend for you, but I like the style with elastic rather than ties to go around the head, and if you have long or thick hair, make sure you get a bigger one with plenty of space for your curls.

Silke London (?) had some turbans last season and then HSN has a couple really pretty ones by Kim Kimble- I’m waiting for mine to arrive but I’ve had great results with silk bonnets and pillow cases in general- especially when I wear my natural curls

It was a more simple look using the red color as a liner I think. It’s not the main VBB line review video. I looked in so many videos since then and can’t find it! Hi Lan, you would pronounce Havre Studios kind of like: AH-vruh Studios, rolling the "r" if you can. :) (the H is silent). Hope that helps. They are a Copenhagen company, but it's a French word. It's French for "haven".
Havre is also Danish for "oat"

As far as naturally wavy hair (recently discovered, my hair stylist has said so my whole life but she didn’t ever clarify that she meant wavy like could be curly.) I’ve found the routine that works best for me is showering like normal, combing in the shower (with conditioner) to get the tangles out, then bending forward directing the hair over your face making sure to get it super wet and then kind of squeeze the water out while scrunching it up against your head. You’ll want to shake your head to let it separate into 4-7 clumps of hair and then you can start applying the products. I start with the JVN air dry cream, and then use the Ecotools Orange Marmalade gel. Then plop your hair into a towel and let dry for 15 minutes or so. Once you take the towel off get more water out and then apply your mousse of choice. Really scrunch it up against your head at this point. (It should still be directed over your face if you want volume at the root) From here you can either diffuse until dry or air dry. If diffusing, start with a higher heat hover dry and then on a lower heat hold the curls to your head with the diffuser until dry. Hope this helps, it holds up for me for about a week (with dry shampoo) and I work in a greenhouse so the humidity is usually between 80 and 100. Also, don’t brush your hair.
Once 90-100% dry, use hair oil to scrunch out the cast.
