Finally! Mum's unit arrived!

25 months after it was ordered, 22 months after it was supposed to be delivered, and almost 2 years of lies, false promises and lip service from the builder! It finally arrived! This has been a stressful and frustrating experience that I hope none of us ever have to go through again and I wouldn't wish on anyone. To everyone out there, definitely do NOT buy a building from Transportable Buildings International, out of Birchip, Victoria. This building is still not built to spec, but we gave up on trying to get John Wilson to actually listen to us or read the original contract and get the damn thing right. Better to finally have an incorrect building than to still have no building at all. Now time to question the discrepancy between the contracted price of $49k and the invoices totalling $56k before paying anything more. He's not going to be happy with that I bet, but we've put up with enough dishonesty from him and we're not going to add over charging to the list of things he's gotten away with over the last 2 years. If it comes to it, we have everything in writing through emails and some text messages and he can see how much luck he has with the law believing his lies, because we're done now.
