The levels on this game were epic, huge forests, deep canyons, spooky castles, high tech cities, sea palaces, enormous air fleets. Just really fun to play :)
One time I played the second act of Rail Canyon and it was hilarious. I played team Sonic and we arrived at a thin bridge. Knuckles said ”Careful! Its very steep here!” he said right as he fell off 😂😂😂

Honest Opinion: Seaside Hill was most likely a bunch of people’s first ever sonic stage, since Sonic Heroes was the first cross-platform game. It would make sense if they’re going for nostalgia.
Out of all the egg man stages.Can agree this is impossibly worse than space.Arc , it had rails and enemies, but this stage had freaking multiple enemies and mega lasers. 😎
Even though this level was brutal, it was by far the coolest. I mean you just got through Eggman's fleet, only to find out that there is still one enormous ship left. And it's one whole stage. I don't know... maybe it's the concept of a giant airship that is forever surrounded in terrible weather that gives me goosebumps.
tbh the weather made this level nailed the atmosphere of the level. I everything of this level. the music, the difficulty and even an exclusive robot makes this level the best final levels in a video game ever!
Yeah, Unleashed’s graphics would probably work on the Newer gen consoles(Switch would probably crash frequently) but that’s asking a lot outta the devs(Sonic Team or otherwise).

It just a little bit less powerful than the standard PS4. You do realises that even Wii U was more powerful than PS3/360 Unleashed looked and still looks beautiful yes. But that's not entirely cause if its insane graphics for the time it came out but mainly the art style and character models. If you actually take a closer look at each game it's very obvious that unleashed is graphically the weakest
@Dreamcast Dazia not trying to be a piss poor idiot, but SEGA should have ported Unleashed properly to the consoles rather than stream for PS4 and Emulation for Xbox One, they genuinely think that Unleashed would not sell well on the newer generation consoles mostly because of product of its time shit(such as Sonic the Werehog beat-em-up Gameplay) and they would rather put literally everything into the next anniversary rather than continuing to port older Sonic games.
Also, I literally just got my life back and I’m honestly tempted to delete this ignorant reply of mine. I can UNDERSTAND WHY SEGA DIDN’T UPSCALE UNLEASHED. Although Nintendo has a really bad track record with being the weak console starting with the 7th gen systems.
Like Unleashed still has frame drops due to it’s poor optimization which is why I initially thought that it would crash on Switch or SEGA just didn’t want to bother with optimizing the Joy-con controller system.
If you're having trouble dealing with the final laser keep in mind that if you get Tails high enough quick enough he can also avoid it. It's wide, but not tall.
I would like to note that sometimes the things that fling you onto the grind rails can actually miss, sending you to a lower level or plummeting to your death. It doesn't happen often, but it can happen and it's _supremely_ aggravating when it does.
I used to trick that final laser cannon at 5:48 by switching to tails and flying all the way up after the cannon finished firing I came down and calmly walked my way out of the level #peaceout

14 years later and I still internally pray whenever they make a long/quick jump to grind on a railing. I remember not even making it to the very first railing at the beginning of the level for some reason. They just flew, Tails yelled, "the Airbase!" and down into oblivion I went. Like wtf... Still love the game though lol
I remember as a kid getting so nervous and constantly dying at the last laser part. Once I thought I finally passed all the lasers, the final mega laser is about to shoot which I also died to multiple times, it really made you sweat. This was a dope level.

I remember playing this game when I was like 4 years old. it was my first sonic game and first video game that I played. lol I didn't even know to start the game because I didn't knew English and I actually had my parents start the game for me xD I always played as sonic team and I actually almost managed to passed the entire game as a 4 year old xD I said almost because this level was very hard for me but I did manage to pass it one day. I still remember the joy and feeling of passing the last level that has such an epic music. that was until I had to fight the final boss of this level xD. I couldn't beat him and ended up quiting the game after many gameovers. I did return to this game on a gamecube like about 7-8 years later (I played it on PS2) this game was such a nostalgic trip for me and actually getting to beat the final boss and later pass all teams to fight against metal sonic! although this wasn't the game that made me like sonic games, it was sonic rush I still credit this game to the best introduction to gaming ever :,)

I believe this was when the eggman empire was at its strongest. It had a military presence all around the world. Sure, you could argue that the same happened in forces but the thing is that no one but the heroes were fighting eggman at this point thus there is no resistance.
Taills and Sonic really do raise a good question "Why did it self destruct?!". Seriously, why did it self destruct; why would Eggman install a self destruct switch on his Captain air vessels when, especially considering his other ones in Egg Fleet didn't?

Eggman's not the villain remember? It's not even clear if Eggman even set those switches, Metal could've set them. After all his plan was to become Metal Overlord not use the Egg Fleet and Final Fortress to conquer the world. Because he blows up the big Eggman shaped tower of Final Fortress to transform and he throws Egg Fleet ships during the battle. It's possible that Metal was just using the Egg Fleet, Final Fortress and set the self destruct switches as decoys to distract the heroes into thinking that they had won before his big reveal.

There was just something about this level that made it clear, Eggman wasn't the REAL threat in this story. Something sinister was lurking onboard the Final Fortress, and it was patiently waiting for all 4 teams to arrive.
Quick bit of info about lvl ups though. If maybe someone by any chance is playing right now and doesn't know this yet (not trying to be a smartass). Sonic's lvl 3 allows you to charge the tornado pole with just a double jump (saves time), also it acts as a tornado on any enemies. Tails' level 2 and 3 are quite useful against flying small enemies as they're oneshot basically. And I'm not sure if Knuckles' levels do anything other than enhance his attacks further.
1:45 / 2:57, I swear to God almost ever time I always do the blue tornado next to those polls, this blue mf and his friends will not grab onto them and it pisses me off so much. Im like literally really next to them.

There are three laser colors: 🔴 Red 🔵 Blue 🟡 Yellow Each laser fires at the rail of the same color. The canon lights of briefly before it fires. Look carefully at the color of the light, then make sure to stay off the same colored rail, or else, you’ll get burned by the laser.
Say if some of you don’t know. I found out what the Final Fortress is. Is A Giant Whale Shark Shaped Battle Flagship. So maybe it is a Star Dreadnought like Ship.

There was just something about this level that made it clear, Eggman wasn't the REAL threat in this story. Something sinister was lurking onboard the Final Fortress, and it was patiently waiting for all 4 teams to arrive.

Quick bit of info about lvl ups though. If maybe someone by any chance is playing right now and doesn't know this yet (not trying to be a smartass). Sonic's lvl 3 allows you to charge the tornado pole with just a double jump (saves time), also it acts as a tornado on any enemies. Tails' level 2 and 3 are quite useful against flying small enemies as they're oneshot basically. And I'm not sure if Knuckles' levels do anything other than enhance his attacks further.
Man I Love This Level so much it's my favorite stage too. This game Will forever live.💙💛❤️

1:45 / 2:57, I swear to God almost ever time I always do the blue tornado next to those polls, this blue mf and his friends will not grab onto them and it pisses me off so much. Im like literally really next to them.
this game is hard as hell. i died dozens of times on those rails and this guy's killing those giant robots in 2 seconds it takes me 1 minute per robot.
THAT'S A BIG STAGE!!! it looks like eggman had his work for him. how long do you think it took him or his robots to build that fortress.

on the final big laser for some reason i never went fast enough to get past it. I eventually did but it took me so many tries

There are three laser colors:
🔴 Red
🔵 Blue
🟡 Yellow
Each laser fires at the rail of the same color. The canon lights of briefly before it fires. Look carefully at the color of the light, then make sure to stay off the same colored rail, or else, you’ll get burned by the laser.
greta level and great music. Only problem I had was the voice acting was very flat. Other then that a fun sonic game.

Say if some of you don’t know. I found out what the Final Fortress is. Is A Giant Whale Shark Shaped Battle Flagship. So maybe it is a Star Dreadnought like Ship.
The soundtrack on this game was boss. This, frog forest and power plant had the best music.
Ah, I see what I was doing wrong. Didn't realize that the grind boost animation was slower than a full-speed grind.
