    this series is so good thank you. i wish american vogue were to do something-like this but not just in new york or california. they should extend and go to the south or up north, seeing how the culture in different states either affects its population or not. especially with older and the new generations

      Thank you for pointing that out! I totally agree that it is much more enjoyable to just watch the the French describe their own looks, that's all this needs. The commentary in between was unnecessary and honestly slightly annoying I fast forwarded through them.

    Street fashion breathes life into me, but real one, not the obviously over-thought looks or trendy outfits, but effortless conceptual looks that people put together to go out and live their daily life. I really love these series, I'm that kind of fashion fan, it's very inspiring, this is where Fashion actually happens and it's alive.

  • @mangostreetproject
    @mangostreetproject 2 года назад +25

    That Carhartt comment was so out of touch and kind of disappointing because I think it shows the way that people who work in traditional media are slow to give new media the attention it deserves (take the concept behind this series, for example, which has existed on RUclips for years). There’s a definite workwear/streetwear crossover in the US as well that was popularized on social media.

    Tous dans la même tranche d'âge et tous avec un style finalement assez semblable. Chaque type de vidéos Vogue est un peu caricatural et homogène (genre 100% bobo parisienne avec "une fille un style"). Ca serait sympa de mélanger ces différentes catégories dans des mêmes vidéos. Thanks boo.

    • @shizukagozen777
      @shizukagozen777 2 года назад +25

      Je suis tout à fait d'accord avec toi et surtout, elles véhiculent une fausse image de la "diversité" et de l'originalité de la mode parisenne alors que 90% des gens ici s'habillent de façon très classique et principalement en noir. Ces gens là ont été sélectionnés, c'est sur, rien que le fait qu'il connaisse le gars aux lunettes de soleil, c'est très suspect.

      Moi, je m'imagine plus un truc du genre ils vont dans des écoles d'art ou de mode et repèrent des jeunes au look intéressant et leur demandent une interview dans la rue, ou quelque chose du genre car pour pouvoir s'habiller comme ça, il faut soit travailler dans un milieu bien particulier, soit être étudiant, et vu leur âge, je pense qu'ils sont plutôt étudiants.
      Je ne connaissais pas (je dois avouer que je ne regarde presque pas du tout le RUclips français) et effectivement, c'est plus authentique, les personnes interviewées ont clairement été abordées dans la rue, il y a plus de styles se rapprochant de ce qu'on peut voir, surtout dans certains quartiers de Paris.
