- Today we'll be Fixing 2014’s Lucy. Luc Besson's brainy bad-ass had the DNA of a good story. But unfortunately, this movie only used 10% of it's potential.

You know, I was thinking of trying a fix-the-flick idea, but instead of just fixing bad movies, I would also like to explore original or alternate ideas for certain movies. For example, how would I make my own Batman movie? How could George Lucas' original draft of Star Wars work properly as a film? What would happen if a different director got a hold of a famous movie? It would be fun to explore questions like that.
We'll be exploring something like that later this year with the debut of the "Phantom Flick" But it would be very cool to see someone else's take on that idea! Good luck!

I think your version sounds similar to Limitless, but it is accurate.
Limitless did partially inspire the direction my Lucy fix went. But I feel that they offered enough that was different, for them to be they're own stories. None the less, I'm really glad you liked it. Thanks for commenting!
I think the funniest part of this video is that Lucy reenacts the “torture” scene from the Thomas Jane Punisher movie.

An excellent revision, and with scientific credibility to boot. (The review-your-life part of an NDE might well be explained by lighting up all the neurons at once [or at least increasingly more of them as the drug works, in this case.])
The solution seems obvious. She does what IBM and MDAnderson did: have an intelligence review all relevant medical data (Lucy speed reads it and discovers that controlling the dosage would allow her to maintain her mental power.) The challenges would include 1) finding out what that dosage is without killing herself, and 2) getting a reliable supply of the drug.
When will this Phantom Fick come out?
Love the new format, and I agree with your version it is like an action focus Limitless would have been a good flick.
problem with this version is that it is too similar to limitless and copyright issues can rise.

I agree with your fix of Lucy's acting but prefer her psi powers-especially during the gang fight scene. It's a superhero origin story and a superhero needs to be able to defend themself against armed gangsters.
