"There is no dark side, there is no light side, just The Force and what you bring to it...." - genius! * Disney should have paid you do write the entire sequel trilogy!
That was amazing! I actually teared up when Luke was with Leia like that. This is what Disney needs to do to rework the other movies. Hope you do the last one soon too!
Damn this is real good. Poe's arc in this in infinitely better than the one by Disney, and Kylo Ren is more streamlined as well. Even Rose turned out far better without turning her into something completely different. My only gripes is that Luke's arc doesnt fully work because it is solid canon that the balance of the force is the light, and the dark is the main thing disturbing the balance. Yes, there needs to be both, but the dark weighs more than the light. Therefore, there can be light side users, but dark side users are an anomaly. essentially, you are partially right in that the light and dark are irrelevant to a degree, because there is no real light or dark, rather the light and dark sides of the force are the philosophies of force users. The true philosophy of the light is to become a tool of the will of the force, and the true philosophy of the dark is to bend the force to one's will. This is why the dark side is the threat to balance. Also, I think it would have strengthened Rose's character more if you kept Paige her sister.
Several years late, but damn if that didn't reignite my love for Star Wars. Several moments of actual tears and jaw drop moments. This pitch is both respectful to the original story, but also acknowledges the desperate need for growth when pressing into a new sequel. Bravo, good sir
What I love about this rewrite is that this actually feels like the second act of the trilogy instead of it feeling like three acts in one. You've also made me feel incredibly hyped about Rise of Skywalker which the film also failed to do since there was no other good directions to take it. I am absolutely adoring this channel and cant wait where this channel is heading in the future.
Hey everyone, I'm back! I'd like to thank everyone for being incredibly patient. We're fixing The Last Jedi today and I'd like to remind everyone that any sequel or spin-off I fix, will maintain the continuity of any previous fix. So, if you haven't seen my fix of the Force Awakens, I highly recommend that you do. Thanks again for your patience and until next time... I'm Mr. Fixit for Fix-The-Flick.
Hello, Mr. Fixit for Fix-The-Flick. Here are just a few films I would like to see fixed: Incredibles 2 Wreck-It-Ralph 2 Spider-Man Homecoming and Far From Home.
@@srstriker6420 It means he's either busy or is working on his next video. Besides, not every RUclipsr is obligated to reply to every single comment made.
This is 100 times better than the Last Jedi we received. Poe would get some good character development, Han's death would have more impact, and Rey would go on a great journey. Kylo would be a better villain, and we would also learn more about the force, especially the dark side. I love the idea of the Sith existing whenever the Jedi exist as a counterbalance, and that to truly balance the force, you must embrace both the light and the dark side. I would still completely rewrite the sequel trilogy and have Luke leading a new Jedi Order, but in terms of tweaking the existing trilogy, this is as close to perfect as you can get. In terms of improvement, I'd give Holdo a bit more development by having her accept Poe's leadership and apologize for her impulsiveness and understanding that basing actions on revenge is self-centered. I love how you wrote Rose as a great supporting character. Overall great job - Disney should have hired you lol.
@@noalindqvist9826 Actually, I'm already working on my next fix. I also know what I'm fixing after that. So no, I do not plan to go on hiatus again. And I'll put Kung Fu Panda 3 on the fix-it list.
@@FixTheFlick please don't get me wrong, I love the Kung fu panda trilogy and I think the third is still good. It just doesn't live up to the predecessors which are cinematic masterpieces
8:02 This moment doesn't work if you have the dream sequence in the beginning. I just immediately assumed it was another fake-out. At the very least she should verbalize the audience's reaction, she should tell herself "you can't hurt me, this is just a dream" until Luke sees him too or she gets hurt or something. Then she can wake up for real.
i have no doubt that the star wars series isn’t apolitical, I mean Lucas based star wars off of dune which has a very political subtext - prequel trilogy is about democracy in decay -original trilogy is about fighting space fascists so if anything imo the sequel trilogy should’ve gone in the direction of like an anti-war vietnam era movie like apocalypse now
Ur disgustingly underrated, these vids look so professional vids that would get millions of views. I would recommend fixing more newer or trending films so u would get a greater audience. I can’t wait for the next vid :)
Fix-The-Flick okay, would I be able to just post them here? Just a head up, my episode 9 script really does stray a bit away, I’m not that proud but I love how I developed Plagueis in the episode 8 script, you’re a genius for keeping him alive from the prequels.

Hello, I hope you are doing well, friend. I've not seen a new story from you in many a month. I hope nothing bad has happened to you. I'm curious to know if you intend to do a Rise of Skywalker rewrite. Have a happy and safe holiday, and stay safe.
Masterful! That's not a rewrite, that's a storyline better than Lucas' original trilogy. Thank you for this story arc, it gives the closure that was needed to the original story.
I think it may be better to end on a more vague cliffhanger, where instead of saying anything we only see Kylo looking in on Rey, then the TIE fighter coming in on her. The subplot where Kylo and the Knights were kidnapping Force-sensitive children actually kinda gave me some vibes of _The Golden Child_. Also, if you do include Finn's no homo in your Rise of Skywalker rewrite, then maybe you could make her Finn or something?
So glad to see this come up. I watched (or rather listened to) another rewrite pitch of the sequel trilogy on another channel, and it was...pretty decent (well, until Rise of Skywalker), but I really loved where you were going with your take starting with Force Awakens.
I’m so ready for the rise of sky walker fix, don’t forget to add captain plasma or people would point it out (unless she died in that fight with Poe) also I’m super upset I didn’t see this 4 months ago I would’ve watched the hell out of it
Rise of Skywalker Predictions: Rey will take care of and train the previously kidnapped children. Her arc will be having to accept thos huge responsibility of maintaining g balance. She will probably tell other troopers of her story and they end up fighting with her. In the end she sacrifices herself for the greater good and the children take on that mantle of a new generation of force users. Poe will continue to lead the resistance into battle against the First Otder and will deal with his past. A past he is unwilling to confront. He will also duel Phasma again (maybe even redeeming her.) Understand Kylo on a more physiological level by maybe showing flashbacks to his training with Luke, relationship with other students and how he met Plaugeis (maybe even seeing the main trio). In the end he either is redeemed or dies with regret. Three plot scenarios: Plot 1: Kylo and the First Order find a secret large fleet much like the original they will use against the New Republic and the various resistance bases which will flip the balance of power (secretly orchestrated by Plaugeis to spread chaos rather than order) Although I think it's difficult to justify why Plagueis didn't just use the fleet from the start... Plot 2. The New Republic becomes so paranoid that they end up aiding with the First Order and now it's only up to the resistance to fight back and pave a new road. Plot 3. Power dynamic stays the same and Kylo is looking for a way to sneak into Courasuant to kill Rey and get the kids. Meanwhile the First Order finds a secret operation 0laugeis set up to destroy the New Republic (chaos instead order) which they decide to use much to surprise of Kylo Ever since this video came out, I have been brainstorming so many different scenarios which this trilogy AND franchise could end. None of these ideas are probably even close to being right but that's what makes me even more excited for your fix of the Rise of Skywalker!
(Also taking some inspiration from the Thrawn Trilogy, this new fleet would be controlled by clones making the prequels also come full circle and have the galaxy on the verge of another clone wars)
@@edacskywalker8465 I _AM_ still working on my ROS fix. All I will say about your predictions is that some are close and some are far far away. You'll have to wait and see....
Just dropping by to say that another channel is getting a bit of hype for their "What if ____ ____ _____ was Awesome?" videos. Got done listening to all three, and while the ideas presented ranged from pretty good to "ehhhh...you sure about that?" - I will say they're nowhere close to what you came up with for Force Awakens and Last Jedi. Those reframed versions of the sequels were the films I wish we got. I know life got busy for you, but I do hope you come back to finish things off, even if it's just the audio for your Rise of Skywalker idea.
Man oh man. Like the force awakens it was so time consuming to write the video dialogue into a google doc so I can begin work on fleshing it out as a full script. Would you like the link to my script for The Force Awakens script? I renamed it “Ashes of the empire” but it’s mostly the same as your script but with a few changes here or there.
Before I first watched it, I thought the plot was gonna be a crossover between Rogue One and Attack of the Clones with the Resistance getting a clone army to fight the First Order and stealing the plans for Snoke’s flagship so they can find a way to destroy it.
This is a lot better than what we got. I read somewhere that Finn isn't a character. I disagree he was my favorite character from TFA. Other than that this has way more continuity than the episode 8 we actually got.
This is me being biasis but for version of fixing the Star Wars sequels I would replace Rey with Ahsoka Tano from the Clone Wars tv show. Having Ahsoka instead of Rey adds more weight to the story because she was around in the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War and The New Order (she's going to be in Season 2 of the Mandalorian so to me that automatically makes it 3 wars). This in return can help link all the Star Wars lore ranging from the movies, tv shows, comics, novels, etc. I know the problem with using Ahsoka is that because she is from a different type of media it may confuse the auidence who only watch the movies but you could just make suttle past references on previous events. And yes I know that the charcter would be older and Star Wars always targets its younger audience when making a new project (this is not limited to the movies) so the best explanation I can come up with is that she was in another galaxy where time works differently than what she is used to. For example what might have been 3 years for her might have 30 years for everyone else.
Uummmmmm, what? Ahsoka would be like... older than Luke and Leia. Plus Ahsoka doesn’t need to be hand fisted into every single piece of media, and plus plus SHE DID NOT MANAGE TO FIND ANOTHER GALAXY WHERE SHE AGES 10 TIME SLOWER!!! That is so dumb, would just add to the confusion, and plus it would be difficult for more than half the audience to latch onto her because if they were to give her anything where she learns anything it would feel out of place to clone wars fans because she needs no more learning. A 50-60 year old women is best used as a mentor to the younger main character, this isn’t the Ahsoka Saga, it’s the Skywalker Saga.
@@tam2237 I'm just expresing my own opinion I'm not saying I'm right. Plus I count Ahsoka as a Skywalker because she was trained by Anakin Skywalker. The same thing happened to Rey where she was trained by Luke. And not saying Rey can't be used properly in fact if my original idea didn't work I would Rey instead. And for the record I'm the king of guy that would try make every plotline and element that was used in a bad movie work because I believe that EVERYTHING that was used in a bad movie can still work out great it just has to be executed better and I would take out anything that doesn't work like the casino scene for instance. AND I AM FULLY AWARE THAT IF MY VERSION OF THE LAST JEDI WAS MADE IT WOULD CAUSE A LOT OF PROBLEMS! SO IF I WAS FORCED TO CHOOSE BETWEEN AHSOKA AND REY BECAUSE OF THOSE PROBLEMS I WOULD CHOOSE REY AND I DO SHE CAN WORK! IN CONCLUSION I'M JUST A NERD LIKE EVERYONE HERE WHO CARES ABOUT A LONG EXISTING FRANCHISE AND IS TRYING TO MAKE CONVERSATIONS WITH EVERYONE TO SEE HOW THEY WOULD FIX THE LAST JEDI IN THEIR OWN VERSION! I'M NOT HERE TO HATE ON ANYONE OR SAY MY IDEAS ARE BETTER THAN YOURS SO WHY ARE YOU HATING ON ME?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. other versions of fixing The Last Jedi I would recommend are troyoboyo17 & Hunterkiller 1440. Not that there's anything wrong with Fix The Flick's version of The Last Jedi it's just the other versions are also entertaining, fun and great
I hope it isn't too long of a delay for the Fix of Rise of Skywalker. I'm holding off on listening to this one until all three are complete. I've listened to two other channels' rewrites of the Disney trilogy--one started off decent but crashed and burned by the third movie. The second...I'd take what Disney gave us over that. Your Force Awakens one is the only one that gave me high hopes of an alternate take that was as good as what Belated Media gave us years ago for the Prequels. In short, really looking forward to it. :)
I always felt like Holdo should have been like Pong Krell from the clone wars. Also, I’d have Luke and Plagueis fight on the island, serving as a symbolic end to two generations: the master of the emperor and the last Jedi. I think the Star Wars equivalent of all Might versus all for one from my hero academia.
I imagined Snoke would have survived being cut in half using the force and then makes a broadcast saying that Kylo has betrayed the First Order and to hunt him down. So Kylo s still a bad guy, but now he is running from both the resistance AND the First Order.
I always love the idea of a balanced jedi. What if Rey became the first master of this kind and name them "the skywalkers" given episode 9 name a better meaning.
I liked everything about this rewrite except for the villainizing of the Jedi order. I understand there is some debate on this topic but the fact is the Jedi have always been portrayed as a necessary group in the galaxy. Even in the prequels when the Jedi were corrupt, it was seen as a bad thing for the Jedi to be destroyed. The OT was literally about restoring the Jedi order. Imbalance (at least as understood by George Lucas) is caused by force wielders who use the force for their own selfish desires. This is the dark side. Giving into emotions and looking inward only causes suffering and destruction. Losing attachments, fear, and only living to serve others and the force keeps it in balance. This is the light/luminous side. The Jedi existed to destroy individuals who caused imbalance. If the force really needed to destroy the Jedi because they caused imbalance, how did the Jedi exist for over a thousand generations as guardians of peace and justice?
That Guy That EVERYBODY Hates! Sure, the Jedi are not perfect. The prequels with all their flaws showed the Jedi order in a corrupt state, turning a blind eye to the sith because of their past glories. But the original trilogy showed the return of the true Jedi order, implying that the Jedi order is necessary. The thing is if all force users are and have always been in the wrong, there’s no point to the Star Wars saga. There is no reason to be invested because everyone is in the wrong. The force is Star War’s version of magic. Take for instance, if the characters in Harry Potter franchise had never discovered magic. Sure the world could arguably be better, but magic was discovered and there are always evil people who seek to exploit such things and good people who rise to stop them. Dark wizards, good wizards; Sith Lords, Jedi Knights. The battle of good over evil is the core of Star Wars, reflecting its fairytale-like nature. Without it, there is no Star Wars.
If the light is photosynthesis, the dark is cellular respiration. If the light is selflessness, the dark is selfishness If the light goes dim, the dark must have some light to it in order to survive. One can't exist without the other without consequences. By cherishing both, you are eliminating an ideological conflict.
Somebody needs to write up a rewrite of the whole sequel trilogy with the same characters but with elements from the legends continuity and story. Would be amazing. And I can’t be the only one that wanted to see luke clean house with his green lightsaber more than anything 👌🏻.
I'm watching The Last Jedi right now on tbs. I must say, of the seven Star Wars movies not rewatchable from start to finish, this is one of my favorites. :-)
Could you consider fixing “Captain Marvel?” As the MCU’s first female-led film, it holds an important role, and it deserved to be good, but the final product is hollow, meaningless, and ultimately unnecessary. I believe the biggest problem is that Carol Danvers, our main character, doesn’t learn anything or change as a character throughout the entire film. How would you fix that?
I agree with your assessment. A movie where the main character learns that _they_ are the badguy in a conflict they have fought in their whole life, and now must fight _against_ the soldiers they've fought _with_ to right the wrong, _should've_ been very interesting...it wasn't. I have plans to fix Capt. Marvel and hopefully it will do the MCU justice.
I Love your idea and the effort you put into it. Can you please fix Catwoman and original Captain America movie set in Europe? HA HA HA just joking they are beyond being fixed My actual fix it suggestion is The Predator (2018). I hated that movie
@fix the flick, I apologize if I'm interrupting anything from your personal life I was just curious about something. For the past 8 or 9 months or so, I have been working on trying to rewrite the star wars prequels, sequels and even some parts of the originals. I have taken a lot of inspiration from your videos and what fascinates me about your force awakens and last jedi rewrite, not only did you keep the story mostly intact but you managed to keep the best elements of the films and even added some much needed scenes. How did you do that? What is your process of rewriting a film? (I tried emailing before I didnt if it worked or not...)
Well, young Skywalker, you're not the first person to ask this question. So, I'll be making a video on my fixing process sometime soon. As you may know, I take quite awhile to get things published. So, if you want a short encapsulation of my process, please email me and I'll give you the skinny. But either way, a process video _is_ on it's way. Thanks for watching and good luck with your Star Wars rewrites!
kylo ren sound here like a true cultist, and i love it. I love kylo ren in the sequels, but here we got something different and still interesting. A man who believes in one way, not just evil and blank with no personality, but a believer in the old empire and the sith way.
Cults always scared me. It's the idea of crazy actually being contagious. Arrgh, creepy. Glad you liked the direction I took. And when I fix Rise of Skywalker (whenever that will be) we'll be seeing more of Kylo's mindset.
Technically the light side and dark side DO exist. The Jedi way is the way of balance (wherein you should feel emotions but do so in a guided way) whereas the dark side is the way of "fuck balance i'ma do what i want"
I'm still alive. My day job works one project at a time, so when I'm in it, _I'M IN IT_ But I'm _am_ currently working on a fix... when I can squeeze it in.
THAT was exactly what I imagined would the Sequels be about regarding to the Force: Prequels = we had the “rise to the Dark Side” and the Sith and the downfall of the Light and the Jedi. Orignals = we had downfall of the Dark side and the Sith and the rise of the Light and the Jedi - and for some time balance while the Force is... well balancing itself again from the height of the Sith power/only Dark side. Which created imo a new de-balance (not a native speaker, so, sorry if some words are not correct or sound strange, but I hope you understand what I mean) in the Force yet AGAIN bc well... Light side rules now alone and there is no one Dark left (basically what you said). Until Snoke and Kylo Ren come. It just makes so much sense that the Sequels would “close this cycle” by finding the real balance between the two - or “grey side” like we could call it. Looking at the Force as not Dark or Light but at what it actually is in the first place (like you said “in its natural state”) with an unbiased look. Which well... could have been the PERFECT ground for all this dyad-thingy from the very beginning (Ep VII). It’s Anakin’s legacy in my opinion: he brought balance back to the Force when he felled the Dark side by killing Palpatine and now it would be the time to finally fully establish that true balance and hold it. A legacy for his family (personified in Ben) and all the force-users that are and that are to come (personified in Rey). And the Force now being finally so balanced that it “created” two individuals (Ben & Rey) who have the ability to do it (dyad-thingy) bc they have both sides of the Force in them and bc of that can’t be fully Dark nor Light no matter what they do. It would have been also fitting for another detail what I noticed: all the time in the movies they are talking about how Rey is the “Last Jedi” but did anyone noticed that Kylo Ren/Ben is essentially the “last Sith”?? Both Sith and Jedi are practically non-existing anymore (only two not-completely trained individuals, who were trained by people who mostly don’t have a full clue about all the stuff themselves - Luke was not completely trained himself, all he knows is from texts and some input by Force Ghosts or discovering it himself), meaning a clean slate for something new, for force-sensitive people to build something completely new... at least that’s what I noticed and think about it. I really, really love the story arc you for created for Poe (that’s exactly what I hoped would happen in TLJ and TROS) and Rey (although I miss Finn). And I love how you involved the Knights of Ren. Though I’m sceptical about Rey’s fight with the Praetorians: even in the original it’s unrealistic (although I love that Throne Room scene, for me it’s one of the coolest moments I ever saw in SW) bc Rey has only training for a few weeks while Ben has literally 20 years of training on her with a lightsaber (and Force in general) and probably saw the Praetorians more than once fight and thus knows their movements and weapons. And even he struggled during the fight. So Rey taking completely alone on those Praetorians and though she was trained a Stormtrooper, she wasn’t trained to fight lighsabers, let alone such elite soldiers. Your rewrite of Last Jedi is definitely one of my favorites and I’m looking forward to your rewrite of TROS.
I glad you liked it so much! We've seen the Jedi and the Sith fighting for 40 years and in the books and comics they've been fighting for centuries. It was time for something new in the Force. As far as Rey's fight with the Praetorians, I specifically chose to show a moment that she was struggling, to indicate that she barely won. It was a struggle. Something the theatrical Rey never had to do. And yes, I will do TROS.
I apologize for a long list lol. I’m just dying for you to fix these. There’s no rush, I can wait when you get to them: Iron Man (2008) (Only the Villain) Iron Man 2 (2010) The Incredible Hulk (2008) Thor (2011) Iron Man 3 (2013) Thor: The Dark World (2013) Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) (Only the Villain) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) The Star Wars Prequels Return of the Jedi (1983) The Rise of Skywalker (2019) A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tale (2017) Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) Fantastic Four (2015) Spider-Man 3 (2007) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) Jurassic Park lll (2001) Men In Black ll (2002) Shrek the Third (2007) Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) Incredibles 2 (2018) Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception (2011) (Only the Story)
OK, both this and your Foce Awakens re-writes are fantastic. For some constructive criticism I would add Finn and Hux in the story but a bit different. Hux should be the rival of Kylo in the story. The technocratic leader of the First Order while Kylo is more of a religious leader. Where Kylo idolizes Vader Hux would idolize individuals like Tarkin. There is also the fact that the Poe's arc doesn't have a villain (unless we consider Holdo as the villain) so Hux would be the face of the First Order in the war against the Republic while Kylo and the Knights of Ren deal with Luke. Finn could simply be a member of the Resistance and a friend of Poe. He could even fit in your Episode 7 version of the film. He is not really important but the character of Finn after his escape from the First Order is essentially the funny, energetic and charismatic friend of the main character. To be fair I don't really have a major role for him like Hux but he could replace Rose in this version of the story. Rose could be a lower ranking officer in the Republic fleet and Holdo's personnal assistant that is eventually disillutioned with Holdo and takes Poe's side. To add something else. Kylo's real name should be Anakin. Leia and Han naming their son after the alias of Obi-Wan is beyond stupid. Anakin (or Bail, after Bail Organa) would make much more sense. It would also tie with the obssession Kylo has with his grandfather.

The true philosophy of the light is to become a tool of the will of the force, and the true philosophy of the dark is to bend the force to one's will. This is why the dark side is the threat to balance. Also, I think it would have strengthened Rose's character more if you kept Paige her sister.
Didnt Yoda say the dark side is not stronger but it's just easier and more seductive?

That's exactly the message I was going for. Glad you liked it!
@@FixTheFlick will you go on a hiatus again? I would really like to see a rewrite of Kung fu panda 3.
@@noalindqvist9826 Actually, I'm already working on my next fix. I also know what I'm fixing after that. So no, I do not plan to go on hiatus again. And I'll put Kung Fu Panda 3 on the fix-it list.

Been waiting for soo long. Please don’t leave 🥺
The Last Jedi was a tough nut to crack and there were a lot of things going on my personal life. But I'll try hard not to leave again. I like it here.
Gotta say the solution to the Sequel Trilogy was so simple and opened so many venues.
Good job FixtheFlick
"Because at its heart, Star Wars is about people, not politics."
I don't understand how you can say that if you've seen the prequel trilogy.
He means real life politics and agendas not in universe politics
I must say, as much as I like the version we got, I like this one more. It’s good to have you back, friend.
thank goodness your channel exists so I can re-write these movies in my brain.
That...was.....beautiful...
Lol "Rey helps the traumatized children settle in" *uses clip of Rey talking to BB-8* love it!
Wellllll, BB-8 is _kinda_ like a child.... Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
Then she can wake up for real.
i have no doubt that the star wars series isn’t apolitical, I mean Lucas based star wars off of dune which has a very political subtext
- prequel trilogy is about democracy in decay
-original trilogy is about fighting space fascists
so if anything imo the sequel trilogy should’ve gone in the direction of like an anti-war vietnam era movie like apocalypse now
Ur disgustingly underrated, these vids look so professional vids that would get millions of views. I would recommend fixing more newer or trending films so u would get a greater audience. I can’t wait for the next vid :)
Now I wanna see a fix of The Rise of Skywalker, since I'm interested in seeing how you conclude YOUR sequel trilogy.
That part where he killed Snoke was incredible
FINALLY!! I sadly already wrote an episode 8 and 9 for your episode 7 and sadly I fear that they don’t live up to your episode 7!!!
Thanks very much! And did you post your versions yet? Send me a link when you do. I love seeing other people's takes on stuff!
Fix-The-Flick okay, would I be able to just post them here? Just a head up, my episode 9 script really does stray a bit away, I’m not that proud but I love how I developed Plagueis in the episode 8 script, you’re a genius for keeping him alive from the prequels.

I think if JJ directed the last jedi it would've been alot better
Hello, I hope you are doing well, friend. I've not seen a new story from you in many a month. I hope nothing bad has happened to you. I'm curious to know if you intend to do a Rise of Skywalker rewrite. Have a happy and safe holiday, and stay safe.
Masterful! That's not a rewrite, that's a storyline better than Lucas' original trilogy. Thank you for this story arc, it gives the closure that was needed to the original story.
Do Rise of Skywalker next. Fans are waiting for 2 and a half years for a fix.
Let's Fix The Rise of Skywalker!!!
So glad to see this come up. I watched (or rather listened to) another rewrite pitch of the sequel trilogy on another channel, and it was...pretty decent (well, until Rise of Skywalker), but I really loved where you were going with your take starting with Force Awakens.
I love your video. From now on in my mind this will be the real Last Jedi
I’m so ready for the rise of sky walker fix, don’t forget to add captain plasma or people would point it out (unless she died in that fight with Poe) also I’m super upset I didn’t see this 4 months ago I would’ve watched the hell out of it
Rise of Skywalker Predictions:
Rey will take care of and train the previously kidnapped children.
He will also duel Phasma again (maybe even redeeming her.)
Understand Kylo on a more physiological level by maybe showing flashbacks to his training with Luke, relationship with other students and how he met Plaugeis (maybe even seeing the main trio). In the end he either is redeemed or dies with regret.
Three plot scenarios:
Plot 1: Kylo and the First Order find a secret large fleet much like the original they will use against the New Republic and the various resistance bases which will flip the balance of power (secretly orchestrated by Plaugeis to spread chaos rather than order) Although I think it's difficult to justify why Plagueis didn't just use the fleet from the start...
Plot 2. The New Republic becomes so paranoid that they end up aiding with the First Order and now it's only up to the resistance to fight back and pave a new road.
Plot 3. Power dynamic stays the same and Kylo is looking for a way to sneak into Courasuant to kill Rey and get the kids. Meanwhile the First Order finds a secret operation 0laugeis set up to destroy the New Republic (chaos instead order) which they decide to use much to surprise of Kylo
Ever since this video came out, I have been brainstorming so many different scenarios which this trilogy AND franchise could end.
This is fantastic. This whole Star Wars rewrite is fantastic.
Here's hoping you dodRise of Skywalker.
Oh ho ho! I'm doing Rise of Skywalker!
@@FixTheFlick Good. Do you still wanna do an episode together?
You all know what has to come next... a re-write for Rise of Skywalker
Oh... that's _gonna_ happen. Keep an eye out.
Not that there's anything wrong with Fix The Flick's version of The Last Jedi it's just the other versions are also entertaining, fun and great
As someone that likes TLJ I think that this is way better than the original
This is great and so was your TFA rewrite. When are you gonna fix The Rise of Skywalker?
I hope it isn't too long of a delay for the Fix of Rise of Skywalker. I'm holding off on listening to this one until all three are complete. I've listened to two other channels' rewrites of the Disney trilogy--one started off decent but crashed and burned by the third movie. The second...I'd take what Disney gave us over that. Your Force Awakens one is the only one that gave me high hopes of an alternate take that was as good as what Belated Media gave us years ago for the Prequels. In short, really looking forward to it. :)
Really enjoying these, 1000 times better than the crap Disney spewed out.
When can we expect the Fix for Rise of Skywalker??
I like Finn and Rey being the same character, I had the same idea.
PLEASE CONTINUE THIS
I DEFINITELY WILL. THANKS FOR WATCHING. ;)
I imagined Snoke would have survived being cut in half using the force and then makes a broadcast saying that Kylo has betrayed the First Order and to hunt him down. So Kylo s still a bad guy, but now he is running from both the resistance AND the First Order.
Interesting idea. Rey, Finn and the First Order might even have to work together to stop Kylo.
@@FixTheFlick Maybe not work together, as Kylo would be a fugitive now, with allegiance to no one.
Its good to see you back.
I always love the idea of a balanced jedi.
What if Rey became the first master of this kind and name them "the skywalkers" given episode 9 name a better meaning.

Not even that much of a fan of Star Wars but this is it! Kylo not a whiny wimp…on to that last 1 everybody hates so much
I liked everything about this rewrite except for the villainizing of the Jedi order.
1:19 Wrong, its about family... And thats what is so powerful about it 🌚
I was going for the alteration, but you're right. I watch Star Wars because it's a story about the Skywalker family, not to be preached at.
@@FixTheFlick I was just quoting Carrie Fisher haha
Your videos are awesome man, much love from Costa Rica.
If the light is photosynthesis, the dark is cellular respiration.
If the light is selflessness, the dark is selfishness
If the light goes dim, the dark must have some light to it in order to survive.
One can't exist without the other without consequences. By cherishing both, you are eliminating an ideological conflict.
And eliminating that conflict is precisely why Luke encouraged Rey to embrace balance.
I hope your re write of Rise of Skywalker includes the battle on Coruscant that we never got to see in Trevorrow's version

Thank you this made my day! Also If you are making a video dedicated on how you make these videos then I won't ask any further questions.
kylo ren sound here like a true cultist, and i love it.
@@FixTheFlickwell good ideas a easy to like. Also I suggest you to fix video game movies
Technically the light side and dark side DO exist. The Jedi way is the way of balance (wherein you should feel emotions but do so in a guided way) whereas the dark side is the way of "fuck balance i'ma do what i want"

step 1: Not make Luke an asshole
THAT was exactly what I imagined would the Sequels be about regarding to the Force:
Prequels = we had the “rise to the Dark Side” and the Sith and the downfall of the Light and the Jedi.
Hi there have a few ideas would you be open to rewriting the Star Wars Prequel trilogy, scream 4 and Avengers: Age of Ultron

JJ Rich I agree on most of that
Make a video on The Lone Ranger (2013)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How could you possibly fix this movie in under 30 minutes?!
