I have been waiting to do a video like this for a while and waited until SACRT got done updating this crossing with it getting the last new mechanisma couple of months ago and earlier this month, I had the time to film a Yellow Flasher Advance Warning Signal video of both signals as before the changes to this crossing, I already filmed both before in seperate videos and was time to do so again.
Sacramento Regional Transit Gold Line light rail trains pass through the Jackson Road railroad crossing also known as the California State Route 16 (CA SR 16) Highway Railroad Crossing on the SACRT Gold Line in Sacramento, California. The yellow flasher signals are to warn traffic to slow down as the crossing is about to activate or activated.

The yellow flashers are an SACRT Early 2000s signal install but also the first one the north side has a SACRT mid 2010s signal mast and base that replaced the original mast after being hit. The most recent hit was in 2022. The mast was replaced in 2019 from a hit.
The crossing is an SACRT mixed install with the cantilevers and aouth gated mast being an SACRT early 2000s signal install with a bell, a few mast lights on the north cantilever, south gated mast bell, gate, mechanism, and counterweight arms all being changes. The north gated mast is an SACRT salvage parts knock down install of the early 2020s with its bell and gate changed.

I love the sound made by older siemens light rail vehicles as they're zooming past at more than idk, 40 mph

I have never seen any railroad crossing that have Yellow flashing warning signals on a railroad crossing sign as for warning a train is about to approach

THEY SHOULD EQUIP ALL MAJOR AND SOME MINOR RAILROAD CROSSINGS WITH THAT FEATURE MAYBE WE WILL HAVE FAR LESS FATALITIES AROUND CROSSINGS....
