Building Cure is located in the Denny Triangle neighbourhood in downtown Seattle. This new research building expands the Seattle Children's Research Institute campus to enable more life-changing research that transforms the lives of children and their families.
This bespoke building is a research incubator, for its functional excellence, individual performance and community engagement. It features research labs, a state-of-the-art manufacturing centre (GMP), a Science Discovery Lab supporting children's education, vibrant indoor and outdoor community spaces including a café and a 225-seat auditorium for scientific dialogue.
The continuum of green open spaces activates pedestrian movement and expands the building’s connection to the community. The tower is dedicated to developing revolutionary therapies for children with diseases with a people-centric design and a goal of improving quality of life.
Project jointly-designed by Aedas and Flad Architects
