wonder if #science will ever hypothesize that the reason Earth has plates is the moon’s warping of the Earth internally what the moon does to the tides it also does all the way through the Earth too cheers #2Spirit
I came here because the quran said: "Now you see the mountains, thinking they are firmly fixed, but they are travelling just like clouds. That is the design of Allah, Who has perfected everything. Surely He is All-Aware of what you do."
The heat from radioactive processes within the planet's interior causes the plates to move. I am pretty sure it not actually possible to predict in which direction these plates move because ...... if you look at it , plates are tightly fit against each other and when radioactive processes within the planets interior occur , these plates ( under tremendous pressure ) slip in what ever direction their plate is the most weakly bonded. Idk if what i said is clear but yeah thats my input :)
I think I'm being extremely dumb, but if there are only 7 tectonics and one gets pulled under and disappears how does a new one form? if it was already there that means there would be 8 tectonics in the first place right?? Also wouldn't that cause havoc on earth? idk lmao
When one plate gets pulled under , it disappears ( melts) because of the heat from the mantle. When one plate is colliding with another plate , it creates a gap opposite the plate it was colliding. In this gap the hot mantel rises and cools down, thus it becomes hard and boom !! a plate is reformed.
So its 300 million years ago that the continents in the Earth were together like a Jigsaw puzzle as Pangaea and then separated till now and no longer together again. There, mountains rise, oceans get wider and separate from a Mid-ridge ocean due to Plate Tectonics and Volcanic Eruption🧠🧠🧠🧠🧠🧠🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. I understanddd 👍👍👍👍👍👍

thank you bro i needed this for my exams!
I love the last bit - kindness multiplies kindness - be kind to someone today❤
A very kind simple explanation ❤
Understood the plate tectonics topic in just 2:30 minutes
🤩 thanks man❤

It was so confusing on the book but the video made it easier
Glad the video was helpful.

Thanks for the video, hopefully I pass my test :)
no

@@samueldavid706 Radioactive? What? And I know that they move in the same direction for a lot of years. So, why in the same direction?
1:13 from here
Thank you now I can become advanced in world building
wow man so amazing

What is odor rock
what will happen in the next 1 billion years of tectonic plates continue to move?
Continents will not be the same as we know anymore
A supercontinent once again that will split out once again endlessly. Check the Wilson cycle, bro!
So amazing

Shame that an important video like this last 5 minutes. Commercials and dumb tiktok videos last longer.
