    As someone else says earlier, the Retrospective 5 is only a bit larger but holds the XT-20 and two/even three lenses. Lots of compartments for the odds and ends. AND has a side pouch for the water bottle-that was the deal-closer for me.

    • @rakoksy
      @rakoksy 11 месяцев назад

      I prefer 4 for street, it's smaller, it has more or less the same interior space without the useless (for me) pocket for the mini pad (I have the pro) , and I needn't the side pouch for water bottle. Said that, two great bags.

Professional guy with a lot of tips to share, good vibes, positive and happy ... I wish it'll worth for you to keep going on and growing even more your channel. Been a Domke FB since '83' (I still have my original bag and use it on an occasion) when Domke bags were a "must" for all photojournalists at the time (after all, Philadelphia Inquirer shooter Jim Domke created the bag in '75'). I did give Think Tank a serious look-see a few years back, I thought they were a bit pricey for what you get, and little to "camera baggy" in the looks dept for my tastes. That said, their larger gear 'roller bags' are impressive and if I were to get back into or any arena of shooting requiring a lot flying and traversing through airports, Think Tank would be my 'go-to' bag.

    If you still want the flaps to close securely, but not have the Velcro noise, earth magnets work really well. You have to have some sewing skills, but it’s a pretty easy modification.

    Think Tank Retro 5 has been with me all over the U.S., Mexico, Italy, Jamaica, places I probably can’t remember. Love it. It’s been doused in salt water, sweat all over (why didn’t anyone tell me how hot summer in Italy is??) .. I used to carry X-T2 w/ lens on it plus another lens or two. Now it carries my Z6ii with the Z 24-70 f4 and X100V. Great product!! .. also guilty of way too many bags. The TT Mirrorless Mover 10 is a great little bag also. I also bought the TT Mover bag that fits just the X100 series.. I have a problem.

    Velcro is a big no no as it is not discreet and it will eventually result in premature bag wear. I owned one of the older versions of these but found ONA bags to be more stylish. When I stopped using sling bags my wife took over the ONA leather bag and still uses it to this day, great quality. These days I only use F-Stop backpacks, also keen on Peak Design but I would wait for a new version of their everyday backpack.

The raincover is super-handy. I also have a Retrospective 30 which I had to get (very expensively) from Korea because there were none anywhere else in the world - but I rarely use it, I just keep my massive SLR + zoom in there.)
