I am on the mend! I have survived skin cancer, neuropathy, and have had TO GET HALF of my left foot amputated. I will be trying to record more songs soon. Sincerely, Allen Dale.
Sounds like you need a vacation Allen, rest up and get well. The world needs people like you. Your amazing talent gives so much pleasure to people everywhere. You are one of the very best. Thank you.
You got great style Allen that was Fun! Your spirit shines strong and with ease, I'd love to hear you live. It brought back memories... that's one of the first pieces I ever learned in Rag style.
I hate to say this as it shows my age, but I loved this song and played it on a Wurlitzer 1015 jukebox in 1951 when I was 5 years old. It was in a tavern below my grandmothers apartment .I would play it until I ran out of nickles, and then the customers would give me nickles to keep playing it. This brought back a few memories, and you did a great job of playing this song . I still have The Dell Wood album, and the 45.
My siblings and I just loved going to Kennywood every year; so did my children and my daughter is taking HER kids there for the first time at the end of this month. The carousel was always one of my favorite rides; the music makes the ride all that more enjoyable.
My dad played this song when I was a kid! We have the Victrola record back home. I love it! I'm so glad I found it. It's like being back in my living room!

Allen, superb job on this old Dell Wood tune, the one that brought her to the Grand Ole Opry. I have heard Dell play many times live at the opry and she was not only a great musician but a true lady.
