Dude, I wanna be in your band. I bet it would be fun. Alright, so that's not happening. But your JTM 45 Metro amp kit, it is still happening. Has, for decades, and I even think it will outlast me.
Amazing… I noticed your web site isn’t updated… are you going to make and sell your replicas again… and if so, do we just contact your company. Thanks for the amazing amps. I love my super plex.
Do you have to use different values to come that close to the sound of the original or can/do you just use the same values 1:1? I imagine that some values will drift over time in the original, no? So is it at all desirable to have an amp to sound like an old one with shifted values? Don't we want the sound of old, when the values were stille within their tolerances? The tones we know from our beloved records, I mean. ...I'm very curious, not a tech guy myself. Just a guitar player.
I do measure and document all the values in the old amps. I have to mimic those to build an accurate sounding replica. The replicas always have a bit more attack and low end. The parts of the tone that wean as the filter caps age.
Wow George....those tones are beefy and amazing. Very nice!

Hey George, I notice you have this Biased at 34. Do you recommend this for all your KT66 amps? (DVL?)
