Fantastic work! Very creative bashing, the artistry of the final tower/cliff look great, and the scattered jokes throughout are choice. Love that mustard and jelly cliff.
Ok let me also make an actually more substantive comment. I quite liked the way the video looks and was shot. The quality has been very very noticeably improving with every video. While I enjoyed the Gargant build, the video itself was actually hard to watch at times with the way too fast movements, but this one works. I think it's a good formula for these!
Thanks, I really appreciate that. For the Gargant I was learning a new software, and I wasn't sure if I should do a time lapse style video, so I ended up getting these really long, really fast videos lol.. It's all a learning process :D
tower looks nice and interesting, but there is something i dont really like: 1 the whole thing is unwieldy, its relatively huge and hard to move and store, and second: you basically painted bark to bark colour
Peter: You got Legos? Aw, sweet! Lois only buys me Mega Bloks. Lois: They're the same thing, Peter. Peter: You know what, Lois? They are not the same thing. And the sooner you get that through your thick skull, the sooner we can get this marriage back on track. Awesome video too by the way, thanks for sharing.
It literally looks like garbage the entire time, and then suddenly becomes magically awesome. The cream color on the bark was 100% necessary and it makes it even more incredible. The base would have been a good place to incorporate bluish/slate colors or moss/algae (green is red's compliment).
Awesome build! And fyi, for the nuts and bolts effect you were going for with the glitter, you might want to try using micro beads next time. They're great for stuff like that. Again though, awesome build.
Bro, my son brought me something he made once and it looked like the structure before you painted it. I'm amazed at how that came out. Great job. Fantastic video
@@ScratchBashing Well, great to hear that, keep it up. But still, imo. Your talent deserves much more attention, especially from the RUclips community.
Thanks! I forgot to include my standard "I'm not the best painter in the world." I learned the red paint technique from Paint on Plastic by Lincoln Wright
This build came together a LOT better than I was expecting. You really made those disparate panels work in coherent Dakka awesomeness. The reference to Bard's Craft oat boxes was somewhat sad now that he's taken a new path and isn't building any more.
Found this video thanks to the algorithm. My head is tiled and jaw dropped. I don't understand how you went from where you did to the finish project. I am so intrigued. Nicely done!
I don't even know how to say how awesome this is. The level of creativity is insane, and the working with tree bark is SO COOL. Excellent, excellent work.
Wow! It’s crazy how you’re able to create this awesome piece from tons of little bits and parts! Your painting skills are next level, it came together really well! And the weathered look is incredible!!
Just found your channel today and I'm very impressed. I like the Orks and I think there culture is a great asset for the scratch builder as the only limit is imagination. I will be subscribing.
I really like the really thin keyboard keys. I used them on my first scratch build speeder bike for 1/18th figures. I just put a video out about it on my channel. I plan to try some of your paint tips on future builds
It was only a matter of time before RUclips's AI recommended one of your videos to me. As a fan of 40K Orks and scratch built terrain for tabletop games, I was pressing like and subscribe after just a few seconds in. I can't wait to watch more of the videos on your channel and the ones you have yet to make. Thank you for the gaming inspiration!
Man I think this piece looks awesome. Definitely thot it was way to much junk but I was wrong. It’s the perfect amount of junk for an ork build. How bout a “Ork mob takes over a Umie base” build, something like , Clean lines meets OrKy pile-o-scrap
This makes me wonder if terrain and models could be made out of the scraps from a Games Workshop store. Like receipt rolls or any tubes from their bathroom for any of the packaging they get in and throw out in the trash behind it. Technically made from 100% G w. Anyway wonderful video thank you for making my day a little better.
Awesome build man. I watch quite a few different channels and your creativity with bits is probably the best. Love your work. Can't wait to see the dakka
I tried to recreate this and one of the bark peices had so many bugs in it, however I boiled it before I found them so they were all dead. How did he not have any bugs in his bark.
Its really interesting how he can jam a bunch of literal trash together and make something that looks great
Ork engineering at its finest xD

_This guy throws a bunch of junk and random ass foam a quarter of a VHS tape with half a tonne of hot glue and bark > Makes a masterpiece
Yeah, that’s the “throw it at the wall and make sure it sticks” way of making
Very nice work! Reminds me of an orky jabbas palace. That would look great on a Gorkamorka table
Hmmm (consults image search) yeah it does. Thanks!
I must look into this Gorka and Morka.
Fantastic work! Very creative bashing, the artistry of the final tower/cliff look great, and the scattered jokes throughout are choice. Love that mustard and jelly cliff.
Isn't great how it slowly transforms into rock? Not that there's anything wrong with a mustard mountain..
Ok let me also make an actually more substantive comment.

I'm impressed by how well that technique of painting the rocks works!
What I love about this build is that it looks like a pile of junk until the end, when it becomes an absolute masterpiece. Amazing job.
Idk why this showed up in my suggestions but it's pretty amazing. Good job!
Same lol
God damn right it is. Never question the algorithm, it knows what you want
Same lol
Same guys

This build is outrageous.

This is incredible! You got an eye for scratch building. You've got some awesome talent.
Thank you very much!
Dude that music around 7 minutes is pretty chill 👌
I finally found the ultimate pack-rat, the man I've always wanted to be: Scratch Bashing! TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!
...hoard everything.....
@@ScratchBashing Thank you, oh wise one! My clean room shall be a sacrifice to my craft. XD

Orks be like,
"We paint da buildings red to make 'em go faster!"
That patience while painting paid off soooo well.
Awesome build! And fyi, for the nuts and bolts effect you were going for with the glitter, you might want to try using micro beads next time. They're great for stuff like that. Again though, awesome build.
No way!! THATS CRAZY!!! Wow! Just wow!!
I always love the priming step. Really ties it all up.
Bro, my son brought me something he made once and it looked like the structure before you painted it. I'm amazed at how that came out. Great job. Fantastic video
Bro, there's only one thing I don't understand. Why you're so underappreciated?
I don't feel underappreciated!
@@ScratchBashing Well, great to hear that, keep it up. But still, imo. Your talent deserves much more attention, especially from the RUclips community.
Alright, I'm subbing for sure now.
I need more of the scratch builds in my feed and yours are amazing!
Dude I need more. You are hands down the best builder on RUclips.
More is on the way!
Very cool, nice to see some techniques, the way you paint the red panels is quite cool.

Rest in peace, bröther
The was bloody fantastic! All those bits n bobs turned out genius, I loved it!
Nice terrain piece. There was something very satisfying and relaxing about watching this being completed.
Glad you enjoyed it!
My guy went to the back rooms for a quick shopping trip lol
Oooh terrain this time! Excellent!
I thought it would be "easier" than a vehicle but I definitely spent way more time. Go figure!
@@ScratchBashing Terrain can take up a lot of time, that's for sure.
The project is wonderful, nice painting Technic. Great Work.
Thank you very much!
Just stumbled on your channel and BAM, subbed. Excellent stuff man!
Awesome build, love the way you get random junk and make it into something so cool 😃👍🏼
Thank you 😁

i subscribed after watching the Grot Tank build and this is as impressive as the tank! Thanks for sharing these.
Top build, top Oats reference
I don't even know how to say how awesome this is. The level of creativity is insane, and the working with tree bark is SO COOL. Excellent, excellent work.
That means a lot. Glad you liked it, hope you like part 2!
"Couldnt help myself"
Tha's Ok, mate. Orkz can' eitha.

Dude ur an insane artist, looking forward to the dakka!
Already posted!
Another kick ass build!! Great work

Fantastic stuff, I'm considering trying my hand and scratch bashing a small piece for my FLGS terrain box.
That would rule!
Absolutely incredible! I just found your channel and I'm completely hooked!
Love the tutorial. You are very talented and resourceful. We could use someone like you in independent film.
Realy realy Awesome build! The entire video was incredible and I loved your way of explaining
Thanks, glad you liked it!
The whole time I kept asking myself like how are you going to turn this hot glue mess into something and then boom! Just awesome build!! Amazing!!!
Woooow! This is absolutely fantastic
Your videos are so satisfying to watch
That dance hall siren though...
Great build! Love how you bash everything from little plastic bits. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! 👍
wow looks like an ork outpost!

very cool.. looks like something on lord of the rings. very cool!
Now this is a scratch built
Keep coming back. Would love to know more about the wash recipe!
You can make some serious money with these
Really good looking, I'm just wondering where these orks forgot their guns.
Check part 2!
@@ScratchBashing A decidedly Orky cannon, yes.
Great scratch bash! Suggest some orks to "man" the tower.
serious talent.
I'm really liking your camera style and those quick shots while mixing paints had me crackin xD
Glad you like them! - fun to film as well 😁
Cool how you throw stuff together and it looks better than the real stuff but it’s made from the most stupidly random stuff
Man I think this piece looks awesome. Definitely thot it was way to much junk but I was wrong. It’s the perfect amount of junk for an ork build. How bout a “Ork mob takes over a Umie base” build, something like , Clean lines meets OrKy pile-o-scrap
I sort of did that in my "Terrible model kit" video.
I will revisit orky bases in the future, too!
Oh.. nice one mate!
Mom: Timmy! Look at your room! Its like a dumpster, you need to clean it up, now!
Timmy: WAAAAAAGH!
dude this was amazing
Amazing effort! Well done.
Amazing stuff. Inspired!
Wow this is truly awesome, love this format of videos, really entertaining, and of course an AMAZING build !
Thanks a ton!
Great build!
Finally a use for mega blocks
Very impressive ...
Some 40k music would've been fitting for this video :)
I think Mel did it first. But both are awesome crafters. And so is this build brilliant. I wish i had your skills

Pure "genius" !

2 things to help the channel, up load more and make more vehicles
Vehicle soon 🤫
I tried to recreate this and one of the bark peices had so many bugs in it, however I boiled it before I found them so they were all dead. How did he not have any bugs in his bark.
There were definitely some bugs. I tried to shake it off and break it apart outdoors before I brought it in to sterilize.
Ok, thank you
That’s good to know
How did it turn out? Is it on instagram?
Thanks. Awesome.
Brilliant!
Fantastic work, glad I found this channel. What's the song at 11:31?
brilliant
the sound track at ~6:30 sounds sssooooo familliar
Good work.
