This Montreal 1981... the entire concert is FIRE!
Talent
We will rock you, and We are the champions were always played together on the radio and in concert.
That’s one group I wish I had seen live. So iconic. ♥️
They were amazing!
I saw them 80 and 86, the best 2 concerts I have ever been to, and I have been to about 100!
We will Rock you & We are the champions are the two songs that go together
"We Will Rock You" leads directly into "We Are The Champions". FM rock radio stations used to play them back to back that way all the time back when. Queen released both songs when I was in elementary school and you can bet that all the kids were beating out the "We Will Rock You" stomp with their feet on the bleachers at every chance and singing "We Are The Champions" after every game no matter how insignificant the win.
We will rock you is the song that is almost always played with We are the champions. Both anthems. This was Montreal 81
This was released in 1977 as a double-A side single with “We Will Rock You”. They were played back to back on the radio. “Another One Bites the Dust” was released in 1980.
love queen!
Still one of the greatest songs ever! Thanks Biz
The show Freddie would put on every single time was always epic.
Freddy was aware of his appearance n refused havn teeth redone on account his way of sing would change ... Brilliant confident man
He had four extra teeth not just a regular over bite
Cant go Wrong!
I think this is from Montreal 1981.The same as "Somebody to Love" live 1981 video
It is Montreal
You can't go wrong with Queen! Yes, they were never a band to put on a front and pretend that they were something they were not, but they have so many hits and deep cuts that are terrific.
For sport events it was usually this so g and We will rock you. Great reaction ❤ Song came out I believe in 1977.
It was “We Will Rock You” & “We Are The Champions”.
As a matter of fact, you can usually find videos from live shows like this one, where the two songs are shown together back-to-back in the same video… Just search for both song titles together.
Robert Plant sang Crazy Little Thing at Freddie’s tribute concert.
Thank you…a strength and conditioning coach for athletes and the military said this about Freddie…..”Freddie singing at the top of his voice…running around the stage…up and down stairs…he never gets out of breath….no heaving at all if you look at his chest”…and that is so true…one person said…”has Freddie got extra lung capacity”?🤩
At one point Freddie walked to the front of the stage and put one leg up one a speaker....there were people down front with their cameras pointed up.....I guarantee you that to this day, someone out there has a picture of Freddie Jr making an appearance during the concert.
Save Me Montreal 81😊
I think we will rock u is played mostly b4 this. On radio seemed protocol format
React to Save Me from Montreal 81
This song is overplayed and yet that hasn't diminished its beauty and it's power.
After Freddie passed, the other guys asked John Farnham to step in. The uk born Aussie legend himself. If you don't get it, try his black dog sound-check, audio only..
Freddie would be so happy to be in the same sentence as Robert Plant he looked up to him .
And NO, he isn’t in his underwear.
(I always wonder why reactors ask that, because it doesn’t make sense, does it… WHY would Freddie appear onstage in his skivvies??)🙄
The video is cool and all, but some corporate sellout schmuck cut chunks out of the song.
To get heavy rotation on MTV, Bob's vid had to be shorter than the original (real) recording.
I simply can't stand it. It pulls you out of this great river of song, and plops you somewhere else. It isn't what Bob intended. The lulls and repeats and scilences were written for a purpose.
Bob Seger is a tremendous artist and performer, who gave us this gift.
But anybody who's greedy and handy with scissors can chop it into a soulless commercial.
. . . And don't get me started about the official video of the Scorpions' STILL LOVING YOU, or Boston's MORE THAN A FEELING.
Listen to the album version.
A lot of people asked Freddie why he didn't fix his overbite after he got rich. He said he was afraid it would alter the sounds he could make while singing. 🩵
