The muffler on my 2004 ranger has a massive hole in it, for about 3 years lol. I don't drive it a lot but its so bad. I'm just way to lazy to fix it. I also noticed the joint after the cat is leaking bad so its gonna be a crap show once I do it. Thanks for the video.
What size was that muffler hanger that u used to hold up the muffler Just trying to find one for my truck but i.forgot what size mine was and don't have mine
I just bought a 2000 Ford ranger with 117000 miles in tip top shape. That's the first thing I noticed tho. My muffler is starting split so I'm gonna replace it..
This one was on the shortest wheelbase (short box, regular cab). According to Google (www.ford-trucks.com/specs/2000-2/2000-ford-ranger-specifications/) the actual length is 111.6” (or 111.5” for 2x4 models)
@@TheDwdlion88 ik so annoying when I cold start mine it makes load noise it's got 164k now the clutch slave cylinder is making a barring noise an whining noise I'm guessing thats my issue my 3.0 engine has good oil pressure
@@kamryn7496 replaced my entire clutch when the slave went out. Watching this video to replace my muffler. My 04 has the same set up. Thanks Bryan for the video. I know exactly what I need to do.
Thanks for the help, already bought a flowmaster and ordered the Tailpipe. Looking forward to it this weekend.
That was a very good presentation. If I was more agile or had a car lift I would do this job myself rather than take it to Speedy.
Thank for the help! I will need to do this to my truck

this video helped a ton just chill with the breathing lmao
Do you have a tailpipe option for the longer wheelbase trucks?
What if I cut those little grommets off? Can you replace those too?
Nice video. Thanks!!
What’s the wheelbase on your ranger? Amazon says this won’t fit mine but I also have a 2000 3.0 v6 xlt

Can we find a video where I don't have to cut the muffler out?
Just wait for your exhaust to rust apart like mine did. That way no cutting needed. It’s already in pieces 🎉
My ranger is making that same noise at end of the video that light chatter noise I can’t figure out where it’s coming from
Mine too. It's driving me crazy. It goes away when my truck warms up
