Good job Villy, like you I am using the skew more so I can become better at it. I had issues (as does most users) but one tip I got was the angle of the bevel is a personal thing. See Paul Lockwood channel for some great skew tips and tricks. happy New Year, John

loos great im going to guess its oak looks like oak . keep practicing with the skew its a wonderful tool that gets over looked alot . dont be afraid to use the corner of the skew its the best part to make cuts with . really enjoyed the video buddy .

Hey Villy, I've just subbed, this is the first of your vids I've watched. Looks like you are getting the hang of the skew. I personally prefer a longer bevel on my skew, because you can lay the tool down more and get a better angle of approach.
The Skew also works at it's best when razor sharp, and little pressure.
Keep up the good work, practice really does help when using a skew....
    Regards,
    Steve.
