    It’s a warm and fuzzy movie, and great soundtrack! I go back to it again and again ☺️

    Only Yesterday is my fav Studio Ghibli movie and I could tell it right from scene 1 because of those beautiful flowers.
    Its not a sad movie. Infact its like a warm hug reminding of school days and talking about a simple life in the village countryside

    I have the Karin markers, but haven't given them a try yet. So many fun art supplies and mediums to choose from, never enough time. I'm going to pull them out this weekend and try and mix/match w my gouache. Nice paintings. Pretty scenes. The ugly parts of the painting is always fun bc I know when I bring the details in, the painting will come together and pop.

    The movie is actually really warm and nostalgic. But it can be considered a sleeper because the pace of it is pretty slow. But it is worth checking out in my opinion!

    I really want to watch Tales from Earthsea but I told myself I had to read Ursula K. Le Guin's book series it was based off of first ... so it might be awhile, haha. Your illustrations turned out great Mel!

      Maybe there's an audio book version you could listen to while painting? Thank you 😊

    and how dry should the marker be before put more on

    • @VisualMind
      @VisualMind  2 года назад +1

      Depends on the look you want! If you want your colors to blend together working quickly before it's dry is a good idea. If you don't want them to blend too much, wait until it's dry. It depends on the look you want for a specific part of the painting :)
